They were extremely professional, and did not try to upsell me once. My only problem is that the furnace is very loud.

This is an UPDATED review of Top Notch Heating and Cooling. I had previously given a poor review, however, after speaking with the owner this date, I am changing my review. My initial complaint had to do with the company's failure to agree to include my dryer vent into the contract cost. I was initially advised the dryer vent would cost an additional $68.00. Ultimately Top Notch contacted me by email to advise they would include the dryer vent in the contract cost. I was also advised by the owner that although I had cancelled my contract, should I decide to proceed in the future he would complete the service at the Angie's List rate. I would consider this to be a good response to my concern. The primary issue, in the end, was that of communication. Top Notch utilizes email for contact. I am retired and no longer check my email daily; thus I was not aware they were trying to contact me to set up a date for the service and also that they had agreed to resolve my complaint. I have no doubt this is a good company but would recommend they utilize a follow-up phone call when the person who contracted with them does not respond to emails. They are highly rated by Angie's List and thus I can assume that my concerns were the exception rather than the rule.

It turned out the gas smell was sewer gas - Diagnosed by gas company after all the work they have performed.

They were on-time and did what they said they were going to do. They gave us a full report on the condition of our unit. Everything was functioning correctly so no additional work was needed. I would use them again.

WE bought a top of the line furnace from MIKE BROSSEIT ... was told 24/7 service... furnace broke during the day, they came and "cleaned it" was told it seemed ok.. next week it broke again,, 12 midnight,, was told would not call me back until after 6am.. House cold, small kids,, what to do... I bought from them because it was a family business, buy from someone who has a staff to take care of you.... PS...The sticker on the furnace also noted .. 24/7 Thanks MIKE BROSSEIT

Turned on the furnace for the first time this winter and it was blowing cold air. Called Friday mid morning and they were able to squeeze us in, which was amazing since I was already off work. The tech came and inspect end the furnace and figured out all it was was a wire that had come unplugged during some previous work we had done this summer (Top Notch did not preform that work). The tech was friendly, check the rest of the furnace for any other issues, and explained everything well. He did upsell us for a AC tune up and a next furnace tune up for next year for $100.

They were courteous. I am not sure how much they were able to clean out but they were fine.

It was the most efficiently executed work possible. I would definitely hire them again.

Installers arrived on time, were thorough, as clean and disruptive as possible. They installed new water heater and removed the old one taking it with them. We were very pleased with their services and would recommend to others.

They have come out before, they are great! They had me in the system and had everything up to date on when I needed services done.

It went well. I believe they are an awesome company, easy to work with, very professional and competent. They removed my old units, installed new ones, replaced some ductwork. They also ran PVC pipe instead of having the hose drain water from my furnace to floordrain. They also installed humidifier. They are great to explain what all they are doing, the benefits of your new units, and any way they can improve on the installation. You also get a 1 year maintenance contract with the new furnace and a/c. I went ahead and purchased another 1/2 maintenance contract for remaining a/c check up in the Spring. They do a good job, are very professional and I will use them again. In the past they installed a hot water heater. They also previously did a little repair job on my piping. I they also previously installed PVC pipe for the drain for my washer. I am advising other people to not hesitate to use their services.

All went well. My furnace is in good shape considering it is 14 years old. While there, I had them price a new condensing unit and furnace. My units did not have to be replaced but I was looking at an updated furnace and air-conditioning. I decided to have both units replaced as they had a Fall pricing special currently going on.

Everything was great, from when I first called to make the appointment to when the tech was finished. They were very professional and personable. I asked the tech for an estimate to replace some of the damaged flue pipe, and he did so without any problem, and it required him getting into the attic. I'm quite impressed with Top Notch. Thanks!

I bought the $299 humidified installation package. They scheduled me right away in the same week. My schedule was this morning 8AM, and I messaged them if I can upgrade the humidifier the very same day around 6:30AM. They replied me right away around 7:30AM, and even prepare the upgrading equipment and extra tools for me. The technician (Tim) came by, and examined the space. Unfortunately, my own furnace is way too small. There is no way to install the humidifier at all. However, Tim was very knowledgeable and patient. He took time to explain to me how I can still improve home humidity by simply purchasing some location humidifiers at Walmart, and even taught me how the air flaw in the house and where I can place them to maximize the results. Top Notch's service is very sincere company. They also were willing to process full refund when the installation can't be done. I appreciate them taking time and chance to to come out and explain things to me even when he business transaction couldn't really happen due to my own furnace space is too small. I will definitely use them again. Blessings!

We are member of their VIP list so when we call for service we get moved to the top of the call out list. This is great in summer and winter when your AC or furnace goes on the blink. They also come out every spring and every fall to check the AC or furnace, replace filters, etc. We called, he was here in just a couple of hours. We were afraid we would need a whole new AC system. He said not needed at this time, maybe in a few more years. So great that they don't try to sell you something you don't need.

Workers did very detail cleaning. However, the vacuum equipment is a concern. It use a movable box size vacuum and haul it to the basement hookup, unlike big company use truck size vacuum hookup from the out side. This vacuum blows exhaust air back into the house and leave an odor. Also, they use air compressor to blow dust away from air dusts. That did clean the ducts but the whole house is dusty. I am lucky my house has an attic fan to bring in fresh air. Overall workers comes in very professional and do all they can will "not so good" equipment.
