Trent trouble-shot the circuit and found that the problem actually stemmed from another fixture in a different room that was on the same line. He added a brand new outlet to eliminate in the other room to address the issue and also replaced the ceiling light fixture and replaced two out-of-code outlets in the dining room. The total project took about 3 1/2 hours.

They were persistent. They finally got to the issue and fixed it. They back up their work and they honor Angie's List coupons.

Replaced and relocated main electric panel. On budget, on time, and did a nice job.

Trent was exactly on time. This is the second time I have hired Tann Electric and the second time Trent worked on the electrics. Trent was professional, courteous, and very helpful. The work was done quickly with a high sense of excellence. He cleaned up the work areas. Their call center was very professional and friendly and worked with me to help me get the work done on a day convenient for me. I will hire them again for any future electrical needs. Contractor arrived on time, installed the light fixture, and replaced 3 light switches all in about and hour and a half. Contractor was very friendly and professional.

Derek arrived on time for the installation of the fixture. He is professional and very courteous. He installed the fixture quickly and cleaned up afterwards. He is very personable and a terrific electrician. He came out a couple years ago and installed a ceiling fan for me too. I am very pleased with Tann Electric and will highly recommend this company to my friends.

Derek took an overview of the outlet problem and after looking at the wiring situation throughout the house (to determine where lines may be running to and fro) he quickly undid problem wires and re-attached correct junctions all while explaining this process and options to us. He and my husband had to move some furniture in another room but he helped put it back and also borrowed our vacuum to clean up afterwards. Will call him back to do more electrical work that we still need done. The $50 off 1st time customer coupon in the monthly AL mailer helped. Also, another company said it would be another 1-1.5MONTHS to perform this half-hour service when TANN came out in less than 24Hrs! WIN!

I can't recommend Tann Electric highly enough. I'll start with Matt, the young man who has answered the phone each time I've called. The first time I called, we were in the middle of having a new paver patio installed. That particular morning, I realized that if I wanted the wiring for the fountain we planned to install to run under the pavers, I needed an electrician ASAP. I called Tann, and Matt listened patiently as I explained my dilemma. He asked me a few clarifying questions and then said, "I can have someone out there around 10. Will that work?" I was so relieved and grateful. Matt not only listened to what I told him, he asked good questions to be sure he was clear about what I needed, so we didn't waste any time. At this point, I figured the technician would just come out and figure out what needed to be done, so he--or someone else--could come out and do the work another day. Not ideal, but at least we'd be able to get the fountain wired properly before the stones were placed...I hoped. Jason, the electrician, arrived later that morning at the time Matt said he would. He walked around the house to survey the project and asked a few more questions. It was clear that Matt and already informed Jason about everything we had discussed because I didn't have to repeat myself. Jason took a minute to consider the possibilities and to ask the contractor installing the patio a few questions. Then he looked at me and said, "I've got the parts I need in the truck. I'll go get them and have conduit installed in about an hour." I was thrilled. I really expected that I was going to have to wait for him to come back another day, possibly delaying the installation of the stones. Within an hour, he was done. Before he left, he talked to the patio guys again to be sure they knew what he had done and where the temporary terminus for the conduit was placed. He also left the piece of conduit that would eventually run out to the fountain from the conduit he had just installed, so that the masons had a better sense of how the fountain was going to sit relative to the patio. Jason couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I specifically asked for him the next time I called. A week or so later, when the patio installation was complete, I called Tann to let them know we were ready to have the wiring to the fountain completed and--while the electrician was there--to have two other jobs done. Just as before, Matt was a wonderful listener as I explained the additional work we wanted done. Although I was a bit surprised when the electrician arrived and it wasn't Jason, I ultimately wasn't disappointed. The second electrician, Derek, was just a terrific and professional as Jason. Again, I was impressed by the internal communication between the folks at Tann. Derek had clearly talked with Matt about the two new projects and with Jason about completing the wiring for the fountain before arriving and was ready to go on all three projects. He worked quickly and did a really nice job. While Derek was here, he noticed that the electrical box with our meters had pulled away from the house. We had also noticed the problem and had planned to call KCP&L to take care of it since it occurred after KCP&L installed new meters a few weeks before. Derek said that Tann would call KCP&L and coordinate the repair. I have since heard from Matt twice with updates on KCP&L's planned repair. I feel like I'm in great hands. We have numerous updates planned for our home in the next few years, and I can guarantee that Tann Electric will be doing all of the electrical work.

Our electricity went out completely around 10:00 p.m. and we presumed it was a KCPL outage, but they later confirmed there was electricity to the meter. I called Tann Electric early the next morning and they had someone out shortly thereafter. The electrician was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. It took a lot of extra effort to get to the electrical panel, but he was very patient and went above and beyond what I would have expected him to do. Based on this experience, I highly recommend Tann Electric.

They were excellent. When we were doing the back wall; we had to disconnect the generator. They came out, disconnected it, and after everything was back in order, they came out and reconnected it.

Jason was fast, confident, knowlegable, and thorough. He educated me and was finished within 30 minutes. I did not expect to be serviced today since I called to scheduled this afternoon at about 1:00pm. He was here at 2:15pm and gone by 2:45pm. What a great company! Dedra Bautts

Tann's man was right. KCPL sent a line-woman out and she confirmed that some worn (or squirrel-eaten) insulation had led to two exposed wires sparking, reducing the juice flowing to our house. Two hour's after talking to Tann, we had all our power restored and all our appliances working properly. Total cost to us: Zero. The next day, someone from Tann called to make sure our job had been handled correctly and we had gotten things resolved. We'll definitely use Tann Electric the next time we have electrical work.

Had to trace lines to find why didn't work. Which took some time. Found burnt wire deep in wall by sill plate. Wire was still live and blackened. Trent kept with it until found. He did a great job removing cut wire and fishing in new one. He was very professional. This is the second time I have used Tann and I was pleased with their work both times.

First off, there was a mis communication about what I wanted done. I just wanted a free estimate but after about 30 minutes I realized that Lonny was looking to fix the attic fan. Which he did. I got the invoice for $140 and wasn't too happy. He said noone ever told him I just wanted a free estimate. Not mad at him at all. He went ahead and fixed the attic fan and was throrough and explained things to me. He was great just wasn't sure If I wanted to have it fixed at this time as I am working on other projects I need to spend $$ on

Great experience. We turned to Tann Electric after a previous electrician came out to give us a bid, but then never returned any phone calls. Their initial estimate was a bit more than our previous estimate, but then again, they were more self assured that they could complete the project without any necessary pre work on our part. Installer said they would call us to get it scheduled, however, after a few days (and a holiday weekend) we called them. They were gracious and were able to get us scheduled for the next day. Both our estimator and the installer Jeff, they were courteous informative and helpful. The project took less than the amount of time that they estimated. With the Angie's list coupon they offered, they were really close to the first bid we got. Plus, they didn't require us to make an unnecessary cut-in in my daughters closet.

He was VERY late, they told me late morning, never called to say they would not make it, I had to call several times and he got here at 4:35, left at 5:30 and I paid for an hour and a half anyway. But the fan is working perfectly.

I called around quite a bit to try to get someone out to help me after I found a mess of wires when trying to replace the fan myself. Tann's admin, Nicole, was really helpful. She got Adam on the phone and he coordinated with a serviceman who was already in the neighborhood. The electrician was and older man, very sweet and friendly and explained everything he found and was doing. I was thankful they juggled a bit to get him out the same day, especially given the hot weather. Will definitely call them again.
