I was nervous about the project from the get-go. We were having a lot of work done and it was going to cost a lot of money. Also, considering the age of the house we were concerned about unforeseen obstacles or damage. There were, indeed, some obstacles. First, with the removal of the old stucco and board we discovered that the house had no insulation. Change order number one was to add insulation to the entire house. Second, when they removed the stucco and board from the back of the house (an addition that was built who-knows-when) we discovered the sill plates and floor joists were completely rotted out. There was one vertical beam and one floor joist holding up the entire room. Change order number 2. The company was very fair in charging time and materials for the change orders. In addition, the carpenters doing the siding work did an exceptional job repairing the damage to the back room. I usually have buyer's remorse for a period of time after making large purchases. Not this time. Our house is so much more solid, so much warmer, and so much more beautiful than I thought it could ever be that I am tickled every day when I come home and see the house. It looks like brand new construction. Maybe even better than a lot of new construction. The person that came out and did the original quote was the same person that checked on the progress of the project every step of the way. He even came out and installed the last couple of little things at the end of the project. All of the installation was done by a two man crew. Both men were pleasant and conscientious. You could tell they took real pride in their work.All in all, I could not be more pleased. The project was stressful and took longer than we expected, thanks to the change orders. But it is done now and today I am writing the final check to complete payment for the project. This is money well spent. I would recommend this company to anybody having extensive exterior work being done to their house.

Wow! Amazing job in terms of quality, communication, variety of services and professionalism!! This was an extensive project that took over a month to complete and required communication between several specialized crews. Robert and Don did a great job coordinating everything and keeping me informed. The crews were highly skilled and super hardworking. The siding crew would start by 7:30 am and sometimes not leave until 8 pm. Luis and his crew approached the work as though they were working on their own house. There were no surprises in terms of cost, construction or quality. Many of my neighbors have commented positively/enviously regarding the work. I would recommend Robert Patrick and Patrick Exteriors in a heartbeat!

From the initial bid to today, things have been terrific! You can't ask for better customer service. Robert Patrick worked with us diligently through the estimation process and design. We are over analyzers when it comes to picking out paint colors, picking out designs, etc.. Robert drove us around to houses with similar materials and paint colors helping us find the look we truly wanted, and took the time to educate us on what works and costs involved. He was informative and helpful every step of the way. Rick, his foreman, was in constant contact with us. We made some changes on the fly and he didn't miss a beat and welcomed the additions. He was a pleasure to work with. The crew was clean, polite and quick to do touchups. Even after the project has completed, we get calls every now and then asking how the house is doing and on a few occasions they've come out at no charge, quickly, to fix very minor items. They even handled some of the relationships with other contractors we were working with, which was incredibly helpful and above and beyond. We got estimates from 2 other places, and the price was right in line with the others. We will definitely use Patrick Exteriors again and recommend them highly to our friends and family. Below are before and after pictures of our house, we are still working on getting landscaping/plants in the front of the house, and are so excited to be finished. Someone even came to the door last week and made an offer on our house, which is not for sale. Patrick's recently replaced 25 year old shake shingles with GAF Timberline on my 5000 sq ft house, and a Crew worked hard, until dark, and did a good cleanup job when project was completed. Roof looks great, and I couldn't be happier. They have done roofing, painting, wood rot, siding, and windows on several of my neighbors, and all have been very pleased. I called several reputable roofing companies, and Patrick's bid was the lowest, if only by 15% or so. I worked with Kyle, and thought customer service was good. My neighbors and I agree that work is done right, and seems high quality. If there would be something that needs attention after the job is complete, they will send someone out promptly. Will defiantly use their services in the future, and recommend to family and friends.

Josh Smith, from Patrick Exteriors, came out and met with me to get a bid to reside the front of the house and paint the rest of the house. Josh was great to work with and was very helpful in providing ideas and in discussing our options. Ultimately we decided to go with another contractor whose bid was less than Patrick Exteriors. If their bid was less, then I would have been comfortable using them for this project.

I appreciated them coming out and give me a free estimate. They came out on time to give me the estimate.

They did a great job in every way. Their price was a little high than other people but they hand painted; they didn’t spray on. So it was worth that extra cost.

After much research, we decided to replace our asphalt shingle roof with a Decra Shake steel roof and our vinyl siding with Hard Board siding. Since we plan on staying in our house, God willing, for the rest of our lives, we decided to invest in products we feel will last our lifetime. We joined Angie's List to research and select the best contractor for our project. Our house is quite large, and we needed to be confident that the contractor we selected could do the job correctly. We met with and interviewed a handful of contractors from Angie's List, before deciding to go with Patrick Exteriors. We are glad we did. The project was started and completed during the 2013-2014 winter, which created weather related challenges for the workers. I have to say that these guys were always professional and worked very hard through many cold days to get the project completed for us. The main foreman on our project, Luis, is highly skilled and did everything we asked of him. If he noticed something that needed to be completed that was not clearly defined in their scope, he just did it without additional charge. His attitude was to do everything right, period. The owner of the company came by several times during the job to make sure all was well. During one visit he brought to our attention another product for our porch area that if used may make the job look even more refined. After looking at pictures of the product we decided to go with it and he had his suppliers find what we needed and switched out with what we had originally selected without any extra charge. He just wanted to make sure the project was the best it could be and did not charge anything extra. What more can you say about service like that. From the initial sales visits by Josh through all of the fine work by their crews, we are completely satisfied and gladly recommend that other Angie's List users call these guys if you need any such work.

The quote was a fair price for the amount of wood rot repair we needed plus hand painting our house. The repairs and painting turned out great and Josh was quick to catch all loose ends at the end of the project. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a long lasting, quality paint job. The warranty on their work also provides peace of mind.

Robert came to our home to give us the estimate. He was punctual and came well-prepared. He was very thorough in inspecting our home and identifying areas that may need special treatment. He took time to answer all our questions. We received his bid in a timely manner. Both Robert and his office person, Betsy were very professional and easy to work with. Although we decided to use a different company, I would not hesitate to call on them in the future for exterior work on my home

Patrick Exteriors is as good as their rating shows. They did everything they said they would and they did it in a professional way. The quality of their work is excellent and I have nothing bad to say in regards to the entire process of using them. They did a great job.

We contacted Patrick Exteriors about work we wanted done on our house , cedar lap siding replacement, and they sent a salesman out to talk to us and bid the job. Our salesman sat and listened to what we wanted done. We talked for about an hour to get everything clarified as to the scope of the work to be completed. He said he understood and proceeded to bid the job. The bid for the work came in on competitive range with three other companies that we also had bid the job. However, before we accepted any bids, we visited worksites for all the bidders to see their completed jobs and talked to home owners. Patricks Exteriors bid was accepted and we agreed to terms. Our salesman kept us informed as he ordered materials and staged our job for a starting date. The materials for the job arrived about 8 am on a flat bed truck. The truck driver was very friendly and courteous as he placed the load where I recommended. A large dumpster was placed on one side of the driveway to hold old siding as it was removed from our house. The next day, the installation crew arrived early and started work. They stripped off all the old siding which was installed incorrectly forty years ago. Our house looked very strange as any house would when all the decorative surface materials are removed. Underneath our old cedar siding was a black board. The black material gave our house a menacing look after the old wood siding was removed. Patricks crew then put on tyvek building wrap. Our house then looked like a giant white present without a bow. Verticle spacer strips were added with horizontal cedar siding then nailed on. The siding was preprimed light grey so our our house went from a giant white package to a grey ghost. The job took longer than anticipated because of bad weather. Job was expected to take about 7 days but took almost three weeks because of rain. Our crew worked late and on week ends in order to get the job done. They cleaned up as they worked and at the end of each day. Ladders were stored out of the way when daily work was finished. Housekeeping was excellent. Because of rain, painting our house was delayed about two weeks. Once the paint crew arrived, it took two and a half days to get our grey ghost transformed into a beautiful house that came alive as the paint crew supervisor put it. Our crew worked 12 hour days to get the job done. The paint crew chief liked our choice of colors for our house so well that he is going to use the same color scheme for his house. He paid us a great complement. Housekeeping was excellent. Our house looked so good that one of our neighbors called and left a long voice mail message expressing how well he liked our color selection and choice of materials. He was also amazed at the how Patricks crews worked long hours to get our house done. Would I recommend Patricks Exteriors to anyone, Yes without hesitation! They ran professional crews completing great work at a competitive price. Communication between everyone involved on the job was excellent. One of the factors that led us to chose Patricks Exteriors is the fact their salesman listened to what we wanted and understood the reasoning behind our choices. All the other sales people told us what they thought we needed based on their experience and the materials they were selling but only acquiesed to our needs when they knew a sale might be lost. Patrick Exteriors was a great company to work with on our home renovation from start to finish. We had two other bids, and theirs was slightly higher than the other two. We went with Patrick based on a colleague's recommendation. Also, being our home is older, we thought there might be additoins or other modifications we might make that would be easier to match with the product being installed and handpainted, as opposed to using the pre-colored Hardie product. We also wanted more options in terms of color. We are very happy we made this choice after much thought. Kyle was very patient with the questions we asked as we decided if we would do siding, windows, both or one than the other in terms of spreading out cost. We ultimately determined from a budgetary standpoint it makes the most sense to do the siding then the windows at a later time. I can't commend everyone who worked on our home enough, from their responsiveness to the quality of work on our job. There were of course a couple bumps in the road with an older home (opps an extra layer of who knows what type of siding!), and they communication and explanation as they went along with the work was great. They were very patient with all of our questions and concerns, and we could not be happier with the outcome. This sounds cliche, but their work truly speaks for itself. Betsy was great to deal with as well in terms of keeping track of payments and status.

Patrick showed up to provide us an estimate to get our roof, gutters, screens, etc fixed after a large hail storm. We liked working with him immediately, even though he was always a little late. We then decided to add on a bunch of additional projects including the siding and painting. All of the work was done exactly as we agreed to at the beginning. His crew was very polite and extremely hard working, especially the roofers. The only team I didn't care for was the gutter crew, but they were only there for one day. They did great work, but they said some inappropriate things about my neighbors. I did mention something to Patrick, so hopefully he brought on a new team. He worked very closely with the insurance company and everything there went very smoothly. Every day the crews cleaned up after themselves and I could barely tell they were there once they left. I would definitely use Patrick and his team for our outdoor home needs in the future.

They responded very quickly and set up an appointment. A representative came out and walked through his estimate with us which included replacing panels and hand rolling paint on the house. They were very helpful and professional, but their price was well above our budget and we went with another contractor who patched the panels and sprayed the paint.

Overall, we were satisfied with the outcome. The exterior trim work was not to my satisfaction initially. I contacted the office and Kyle came out to review the work and agreed. Someone was sent out the next day and corrected the trim work. It's been about 10 months since the work was completed and it looks great.
