They did good work. He was a courteous and wonderful guy. He was extremely helpful and nice. He went over and above what he was suppose to do. The only thing I had a problem with was that I didn't get a receipt at the time of service, but I did get a receipt at a later time.

They did a good job, but ... Problem: new faucet does not have water volume control. Now using much more water, esp. hot water

I spoke with him on Wednesday. He said he would contact me when he was on his way Thursday or Friday. I never heard back from him. He was steadily trying to sell me a new toilet when I was talking about a clogged toilet not trying to fix the existing plumbing issue. I did inform him I was not interested in a new toilet and he still confirmed he would contact me in the next two days to snake the bathroom sink and the toilet. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM!!! This is extremely poor business manors. This was my first experience hiring someone from Angie's List and I can't say I am ready to do it again.

We lost three sump pumps overnight during a storm. We stayed up all night pumping water out of our basement. They were the first to return or call and changed their entire schedule to help us. They replaced all three sump pumps with higher quality pumps that could actually handle the load. It was a bit pricey but well worth the cost. They are the best, the fastest and the nicest people we've worked with.

I noticed our hot water heater began leaking and called this company after seeing other reviews on AL. I called on Friday and talked to the owner, LJ. He was able to have Kyle come out on Saturday morning. Kyle was very professional and verified all the pricing before beginning the work. All work was done efficiently and professionally. Clean up was great and I will definitely call them again for any plumbing work I need.

Everything was very professional; he and his son explained everything beforehand and during the process; I was going to be a work in that day and not even an hour later he was here at my home and doing the work. He completed in basically 1 1/2 hrs. Great job!

Very professional and on time, gave me an estimate within short period of time and AFFORDABLE. Answered all of my questions and finished till the job was done. I would use them again in a heartbeat would highly recommend them.

These guys are the real deal. A father and son team that are obviously building a family business they intend to be around for awhile by doing a great job for competitive rates. These guys went above and beyond, taking care of all the details (that we hadn't even thought of) and never tried to raise the price. Outstanding work that left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Finally, I have a plumber I'll be using for now on whenever I have a need. Special thanks to Kyle (the son) for his service to our country. That also counts a lot for many of us!!

This company responded right away to my call, and didn't take very long at all to trouble shoot and resolve the problem. Very knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Would definitely use them again.

Very well. Came the day I called.

The plumbers arrived on time and installed and removed the old toilet in less than an hour. While installing, they made recommendations for a better water connection and they had the part on hand and charged me cost without a markup to install the new connection. I couldn't be happier with the service and punctuality of the crew.

Awesome. We noticed our water heater was leaking around 6:30pm on a Friday. We requested service, thinking it would probably be Sunday or Monday before they could fit us in. To our surprise, they came right over, already had a replacement in the truck, and by around 10:40pm they had a new one in place.

I am 100% satisfied with LJ's service. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and did a very thorough job at a very fair price. Next time I need a plumber I won't bother shopping around -- I will just call LJ. He's the man.

Went great. The project was bigger than planned because the part was old enough they couldn't find a replacement in a timely manner. Since my water was turned off unexpectedly I was very happy they could come out that evening and do the repair, even when they had to leave to buy a new part. Excellent service.

Sent a message via angies list at 5pm to kc metro. I received a response within 30 minutes and a phone call within the hour. They tried to get me in that night but had two other jobs before they could get to me. We decided in the morning would be better. They arrived first thing in the morning as promised. The father and son duo were professional, friendly and quick to figure out where the problem was. The clog was really deep. They gave me great advice too....NEVER PUT EGG SHELLS DOWN THE DRAIN. Egg shells actually act like a quick sand and will clog your drain. Use ice instead of egg shells for your garbage disposal blades. Good information! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FATHER AND SON DUO...top notch service by two professional and knowledgeable plumbers!!!

LJ is simply the best. We have used him previously with great success, but I have never taken the time to write a review. Saturday evening, my husband noticed a small leak from our hot water heater. I called LJ at 6 pm and was just planning on leaving him a message to call me on Monday. Instead, he picked up the phone and told me he could install a new one that evening. Sure enough, he arrived at our house the same evening and installed the new unit. Talk about customer service! We have had a lot of work done to our house over the years, but I have never had service like this from any business. Many thanks!

LJ and his son were very friendly and didn't even mind my lab sticking her nose in once and a while to see what they were doing. The work was done fast and they cleaned up any messes. They did work for me once before when I had a flood in my kitchen and it was the same. The work is done right and quickly.

It went fine. He came out and the owner brought his son. They ended up spending more time than I thought. He told me what he was doing. The work they did was actually very good. It's still working to this day. I paid an additional $200 or $300. It was a little steep because he was charging also for his son. He gave me a break but I wasn't blown away. They diagnosed it and made the appropriate repairs. I was very satisfied with their overall work. They did an excellent work but it's a bit pricey.

This is the second time I've used KC Metro Plumbing. LJ is great about being prepared to perform the service the same day as he comes out to quote. The work is done quickly and in a professional manner and prices are reasonable.

They were awesome! Quick to respond, friendly and did a great job. Even came back to clear the drain at another time because I asked for that after the fact. They came back later on in the week as promised. I would definitely use them again! Very friendly and just a great experience considering the circumstances. Highly recommend.

The process went very smoothly from start to finish. They returned calls promptly and arrived on time. L. J. and his son, Kyle, were knowledgeable and very helpful with professional demeanor. They did not perform more services than necessary and explained all they did in detail. They did not leave until everything was working properly. They left the job site neat and clean. We have plans to use their services in the future to replace other plumbing in our 15 year old home. I would recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Perfect! Kept me updated on his arrival time and installed the new toilette and hauled away the old in under an hour. Now I have a 1.6 gallon tank instead of a wasteful 5 gallon tank. This was my 3rd time using LJ & Kyle, they are great and have the best stocked truck in KC!!

We've owned our 51 year old home for the past 16 years. During that time we've remodeled a great deal. Previous owners had also had their hands in the proverbial cookie jar. Needless to say, we've encountered many hiccups along the way. LJ and his son Kyle were made aware of this before agreeing to do the job. They were wonderful. They noticed previous hiccups and fixed and repaired everything with no additional costs, even though they had to leave and go after supplies to fix others mistakes. I would highly recommend LJ and his son Kyle (also a veteran) to anyone needing a really good plumber. Thanks guys!

Company did excellent work. He installed top of the line material and gave me solid advice on how to maintain our new water heater. We were very pleased with them. He did arrive quite a bit later than our agreed upon time, but his service more than made up for that small mistake.

He did great and fixed everything quickly and well. I would use his services again.
