All went well except third toilet, where everything seemed to go wrong. I was upset that part of my time was being used to shop for parts when I offered and tried to get them myself .. something I ended up doing in the end anyway. However, he knew I upset and didn't charge me for the time. Things just went south until it appeared best solution was to buy a new toilet, which I happily did. he volunteered to come back on his own time/dime to finish installation. Perhaps the negatives could have been avoided, I don't know, but he is honorable and I'd hired him again.

They got to the house at about 11:00 after a previous job, and they worked till about midnight, without taking hardly any breaks. They did excellent work , were courteous, and let us know what was needed to be done. They did over and above what was needed, and we would recommend them to our friends and family.

When my handyman told me that this repair went beyond his expertise, I made an appointment with KC Metro Plumbing, based on member reviews and a "Big Deal" coupon they were running in Angie's List. 2 men from KC Metro arrived the next day, and despite the awkward placement of the problem plumbing, they did their best to keep the hole they needed to make in the wall to as small as possible. They gave me an estimate up front, but said they could charge me by the hour instead, depending on which ended up being less money. Even though he job ended up taking longer (and took more materials) than they thought it would, they honored their original estimate. They were pleasant, professional, and answered questions patiently. And now we have a great looking shower that works!

He came in gave us a bid, suggested an even better idea than we had originally thought of. Was very clear on what he services he was and was not providing. Did a very good job of cleaning up after each day of service. Best part, there was a problem, minor accident discovered after the service was finished the following day. He came out immediately and fixed it at no cost to us. This is where I feel companies earn loyalty from me. Accidents happen and there is nothing you can do about it. I feel like it is a part of life. It's the company's customer service that matters. LJ's was impeccable.

He worked at warp speed to get me as much value as possible for my two hours purchased on Angie's List. Most other deals I've bought resulted in the contractor coming to give an estimate and then bidding the job up. I definitely got my money's worth in this case.

He got the garbage disposer in quickly and efficiently. With the water knock he was going to get a part and come back another day to put it in. He also recommened a regulator on my water heater which he would install at the same time. On the day my appointment was scheduled he didn't show up. When I called - he had forgotten that he had an appointment. We rescheduled for a few days later at 5:30. He called around 6 to say he would be a lttle late as he was finishing up a job. He called at 7:30 to say he was on his way to my house. He arrived at my house at 9:15. The part he got was not going to fix the problem and he quoted me around $500 and would leave me with a hole in the wall. I decided against the hole and called another pesron who came out - replaced a part for $200 with no hole in the wall. My biggest complaint was his puctuality. He would return my calls quickly - but he was a no-show for one applintment and then was very late at the rescheduled appointment.

Everything was done well and timely and he was very professional. I would use his services again.

He tried to repair the disposal but he ultimately advised us that we would need a new one. He also discovered a leak while he was looking underneath the kitchen sink. To save labor time, he told me the model and I ran to the hardware store to purchase. While I was out, my wife directed him to our smelly drains in the MBR and he poured some chemicals into the drains. Unfortunately, the smell came back after a couple of weeks. The repair of the disposal went well and the unit works great. For whatever reason, the job seemed to take longer that I thought it would. However, LJ is extremely nice and knowledgeable. I would use him again for another job.

The plumber was prompt, performed the work as requested, and offered helpful information.

The work done was fine. I was little surprised that it took a little longer than I thought so the bill was more than I thought.

All work was completed, though it seemed to take a long time. There were some tools and supplies that he had to send helper to Home Depot to buy.

We immediately called LJ to do the work. We have used him in both our previous houses over the past few years and we didn't even call anyone else to bid the job. LJ is our go-to plumber. He is professional, reasonably priced and does excellent work.

We needed some plumbing work done to our house that we recently moved into. Our largest issue was that the upstairs toilet had a small leak causing a moist spot on the downstairs ceiling. I bought a $99 dollar coupon from angieslist for 2 hours of plumbing work and made an appointment. KC Metro Plumbing called before arriving at our house and showed up on time. Overall the experience was good, the persons (it was a two person team) working on our plumbing issues were professional, paid attention to detail, showed me what the problem with our leaking toilet was and explained what was being done to fix the problem. They cleaned up after themselves and we are satisfied with the repairs.

I should of known when it took 3 calls to get him out to the house. This was one of the most expensive bargains I have bit on... $99 for one hour plumbing . The work described above took less than 1 hour but then he actually went out and sat inside his truck for an additional 40 minutes writing out the bill....my husband actually went outside to check on him. ....So his work took really less than an hour.....writing bill took an additional 40 min.... the other 20 minutes he was not even present!!!! BUT HE CHARGED US FOR 2 HOURS of work. So we got charged for an additional 1 hour for absolutely NO WORK. He was in our home for for less than 1 hour. You probably wonder why we paid....I wanted him gone and off my property.

Work done was fine, but when you say you will be there next week and three weeks go by without even calling me, that's not cool. Also, charging me for the fifteen minutes it took you to figure out your own invoice didn't make me very happy after you had already spent over twenty minutes on the phone and included that in your work time. While I understand that maybe the Angie's list Big Deal wasn't as good a deal for you as you thought, don't pad your bill.

Did a great job, had good recommendations. Came late but did call me to say will come late. Only complain is expensive. Brought a new guy with him and charged the same hourly rate as himself. (He did cut down a little on this new guy time). So it turned out to be little more expensive as I paid for his and another persons time. It was like 200 dollars an hour for him and this new guy with him. Will use him again and will recommend him.

KC Metero Plumbing showed up as promised to replace a PRV, to install a new bathroom faucet and an outdoor spigot. They were professional and work was performed in a timely manner. We feel the cost was about what we expected to pay for the services rendered. We highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had guests coming and wanted to get an old, ugly, broken set of bathtub/shower fixtures replaced before they arrived and stayed for a few days. I called KC Metro Plumbing based upon favorable Angie's reviews. They picked up immediately and were able to come out that same day. They arrived on time and were quickly able to assess the work to be done. The price was close to what I had expected, which means more than I would have liked to pay - but I think that's the case with most things, right? :-) There were matching parts that my spouse hadn't thought to purchase when buying the new fixtures, so I left to pick those up, which left them in the house alone (with my 2 dogs). It didn't worry me much because of the very favorable Angie's List reviews. I'm not sure I would have done the same with another company I had less confidence in. They were very patient with me as I had to go a couple places to find the parts, and finally did based upon their suggestion of somewhere to go. They did a great job replacing the fixtures, and had to work around a "glitch" with replacing the old drain-stopper system. It all looks great and works great. Because they were coming the same day, I didn't feel right buying their "2 hours of plumbing" offer, but they did accept the Angie's List member coupon, which still saved some cash. One note: they did fall for one "trap" they weren't aware of and I totally forgot to mention - whoever plumbed the fixture before had reversed the cold and hot. They didn't pick up on it, either. If I had thought to say something, I would have had them "fix" that as well. My family was already used to it, so it's no big deal right now. At some point, I may have them come back out and put that right for the next guy.

Overall the process went very well, they showed up on time, investigated the work quickly and get started. They worked 5+ hours to re-do all drain piping and abandon old piping since it was unaccessible behind kictchen cabients. Went over and beyond on snaking and clearing out piipng below my cleanout in the basement to verify all blockages have been cleared. Cleaned up and rain water for awhile to test system.

It was an Angie's List deal of $100 for 2 hours of work. He worked about 1.75 hours and charged me around $50 for parts. There wasn't any other jobs that I had for him to do that would have only taken .25 hours, so it was rounded off to 2 hours.

Estimates were good, jobs were expertly done, work was done within very tight time frame. Great job. Reasonable prices. (Called him later when saw water standing in basement - I thought it was a leak - but it was a job for main drain cleaning - tree roots. He did not charge me for this call.)

Metro arrived on exact time and date promised and worked was performed within the 2 hour time frame of the coupon. Would definitely use again.

We had already purchased a new high rise toilet. Saw the coupon for kc metro plumbing on you website. Purchased the coupon after asking a question by email with the company. Called and set up the time of installation. Mr. Slavens removed our old toilet and quickly installed the new one. He made sure the new toilet was working properly and not leaking. He cleaned up well after the job was done.

Same as above. Everything is working well and he did just what he said he would and stuck by the price. Also told us to call if there were any issues or questions.
