Went great was prompt and efficient within the time frame of our Angie's 'Big Deal'. If there was anything else that needed to be done they were more than willing to conquer that as well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to utilize their services.

Two men showed up to do the work, I was billed for both of them. A $99 Big Deal purchase turned into an over $300 bill. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I called KJ at KC Metro Plumbing prior to purchasing the Big Deal and explained our leaking frost free hydrant outside that we would like his help with. He said that he could fix it so we ordered the Bug Deal. Then we setup a date (Sept 5th) for him to come out to the house. When he got there after looking at it he informed me that he is unable to complete the repairs and to call Angies List for our refund.

It went well. I was a little confused and surprised because I thought the hourly rate ($100/hr) was just for the plumber and it wasn't until the project was done and he asked for the price that I realized the hourly rate was $100 for him and $100 for his very young assistant (I don't even know if his assistant had a plumbing license b/c he appeared to be teenager). I can say the assistant worked very hard - they both worked very hard - it just wasn't what I was expecting

uneventful and issue still not resolved.

The main shut-off valve on the water supply line that enters my basement through the foundation developed a steady drip shortly after I moved into my recently purchased 1970's home this summer. I was having an upstairs bathroom remodelled, and the contractors had to shut off the water supply to replace the shower's plumbing. It seemed like the leak began when the old, rusty valve was closed & opened again. I had seen that KC Metro Plumbing was running a "Big Deal" on Angie's List for ~50% off labor for two hours' worth of work. I called and spoke with LJ, and he informed me that he was booked for the next week at least, and if I wanted to take advantage of the coupon, I'd have to wait for an availability to open up in his schedule (if it was more of an emergency, he could fit me in, but I would not be able to have the work done at the Big Deal price). All of the water was draining to the basement floor drain, so I said that was okay, and he agreed to call me back when he was ready to set up an appointment. LJ called back in about a week and said he was ready to set up an appointment and we discussed the valve issue as well as a couple other small issues I wanted him to take care of while he was at it. The work performed was grade A quality. He arrived on-time and was very professional and friendly. The replacement shut-off valve is an American-made Apollo brand ball valve, which I expect will last a long time. He also replaced some copper piping that was badly corroding near my clothes washer. Since the take-off to the refrigerator's ice maker was located right there on the corroded pipe, he recommended that we replace the cheap plastic line with a nice steel braided line. I agreed that was a good idea. I do have one complaint though that I feel is important to note. LJ arrived that morning to perform the work with a younger guy in-tow. LJ explained that because there were two of them, the coupon for 2 hours of labor would be good for 1 hour with the both of them working. This is, of course, logical - I am quite familiar with the concept of man-hours. However, I figure LJ is an experienced master plumber, well worth his normal fee of $100/hr labor. The younger individual appeared to know what he was doing (and was likewise professional and courteous), but is probably not a master plumber. LJ assigned him to replace the washer piping while he focused on the shut-off valve. They worked independently for a while, but when it came to sweat the copper pipes, they were tag-teaming a job I know it only requires one person to perform. I didn't supervise the two of them to see if they were both working the whole time, but at the end when the combined total of their hours equaled 5+ hours of labor, it seemed excessive. I do not believe that had LJ come over by himself that it would have taken twice as long to get everything done. In other words, having 2 plumbers does not effectively cut the on-the-clock time in half (as you would hope, if you're being charged $100/man-hr). I figured it was ultimately a wash with Big Deal coupon (essentially one free man-hour), but I would recommend some caution when hiring multiple plumbers. In the future, I'm probably going to request that only one plumber show up if the job doesn't require more.

Everything went very well. L. J. Slavens from K C Metro Plumbing is now the official plumber for our family. Very competent, efficient (no time wasted), and very respectful of our home. After he left, there was no evidence that a plumber had even been in the house, except, of course, things that were not working when he arrived were working when he left. We were very pleased.

We noticed a leak under on the outside wall where our kitchen sink drain was located. They came out and looked at the problem. I asked them to come back the following week so that I could remove the vinal soffit to help reduce some of the labor time. They came back the following week and made the repair. They are flexible in their appointment times and they work late hours as well. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, the work was very good and I will call them again for any future service that we may need.

He was a super neat guy. Very efficient, cleaned up his mess. Cleaned inside and out.

That worked out fine. I spent about $200 with them in total. I thought they did a very nice job and I had no complaints. They had to run to the hardware store twice because we discovered extra work that needed to be done so we had to purchase a special part. I'm very happy with them.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and they did fantastic work. I paid more than the big deal because of the amount of time, I had them look at something that wasn't in the original scope of work and it needed extra work and a particular piece of pipe. It was reasonable, and he showed me his pricing book. The level of service was fantastic and I would use them again in the future.

He Found The Problem. Well Done

They arrived on time and listened about problems, fixed problems efficiently, and advised about options. I asked for quotes for additional work and received those right away. I believe there was opportunity to take advantage of us and they didn't so I believe them to be trustworthy.

They were courteous and knowledgeable. They replaced the bathtub drain and looked at the sink plumbing and cleared the drain.

Everything was performed as requested. Professional and courteous. Left work area neat and clean.

You be the judge. It cost $600.00 including $100.00 was in supplies. My big complaint is that three people showed up to do this work. If they would have divided the work on the toilet and the sinks, I would might have understood the need for three people. They brought someone in "training". I am not sure why I paid the for their training program since all three individuals did not continuously work. I particularyly have an issue when others had the same situation and the person was non-billable. I get divide and conquer, but you have to divide to make that work. It did not take one-half or one-third of the time as he often says. He also had to make a few trips to Home Depot. He also was very slow to contact and to schedule. I had to have several conversations with him beause he was overbooked. The work was completed, but I feel at too high a cost. Read the reviews, there is a theme here. However, I take responsibility, I only looked at the grades, not the comments. I will not be using again.

This work was initiated by my purchase of two hours of labor with an Angie's list coupon. In retrospect that's really not such a good idea because neither the servicing company nor the home owner have any idea the extent of the work that might be necessary without first getting an appraisal/estimate. I anticipated two hours labor sufficient to replace worn washers or whatever to stop leaks. However the service provider (in a kind and caring gesture) tried to make an adjustment on one faucet that was working fine which eltimately necessitated replacement. The bottom line is K C Metro Plumbing, LLC, did an excellent job installing the hardware necessay., However, it took a significant increase in labor cost because of the time involved. I must say the owner and his co-worker were professional and very friendly. They accidently leveled my mailbox with their truck after the work was complete. The owner came to the door to let me know about the mailbox and promised to come back and fix it after the next job of two. They came back as promised that night and fixed the mailbox!! The drawbacks to this experience are (1) I think it's unwise to purchase labor until you have some idea the extent an potential cost of the job, and (2) I was promised a written detailed depiction of the hardware provided/cost and manhours/cost. That I have not received. I paid what I thought was fair.

It went fine. When I made the appointment they arrived on time and were very courteous and polite. They did the work within the time limits. They did come out when I needed them and they were willing to come. It was my first time using them. I thought they gave very good service. I would highly recommend them.

He disconnected a gas line, installed an ice maker and fixed an outdoor closet. He might have been overwhelmed with the volume he was getting because he offered a Big Deal and I had to wait some time to schedule the service, but overall it was a good experience.

It was a $225 job that just grew upon arrival..not their fault, we just kept thinking of little annoyances that we wanted to go away. They were very good about fixing everything...except the Tube Faucet Handle really had a sheared plastic part inside that prevented a real fix...but, they didn't even include that in the itemization of the work. I don't think I got a real deal, money wise, . but it wasn't unreasonable. I am pleased with the work...I would recommend them...and I would call them again should the need arise. Just now, I noted that there is a 10% discount coupon for this supplier on Angie's List. I had forgotten about that and therefore, did not use it. Again...my fault, not theirs. They are good guys, competent, courteous, considerate.

I got a great "Big Deal" on Angie's list. They showed up on time and fixed my issues promptly. They explained what needed to be done and chose an efficient way to fix my basement issue vs trying to charge me a fortune on a fix I didn't need. I would certainly call on them again, and effectively have, as I'm waiting on a bid for another project currently.

Thought I was buying as a base 2 hours of time from one plumber. Three people arrived; one identified as a non billable intern and the other 2 as billable workers. I would have been more comfortable monitoring the activities of 1 worker but never-the-less work was complete and it seems to be up to standard.

this was my first experience with angie's list and was very pleased with the service. They were very professional, courteous, and helpful, and they fixed the problem!
