WOW! These guys are amazing! I had already decided on which company I would use, but decided to check Angie's List again. Saw this company with great reviews, plus they had a coupon, so I called them. He answered on first ring. Turns out they were close by so after hearing what I needed, he quoted price and said they would be here later this afternoon. They called when they were on their way. They went right to work and they work great as a team. They compliment each other's strengths. Very pleasant to deal with. Glad I decided to go with them.

I sent LJ a message on Sunday night to get an estimate on doing this work. He emailed me back to ask about dates and times he could come by to do the estimate. He ended up calling me the next day to tell me he could come by if I was at home. He was at my home within 15 minutes and gave me the estimate, which was very reasonable. When he told me that he could do the work immediately if I had the time, I was floored! Of course I said yes. LJ set to work, was efficient, and did exactly what was needed. He was careful to keep the area clean, explained what he would do, and did exactly that. He even thought to ask me if I wanted him to set a maximum hot water temp so that it couldn't scald small children, important since we're going to be selling our house. I was very impressed with LJ and would recommend him to anyone!

I contacted the company through Angie's List on Sunday morning and a little over 24 hours later, my kitchen has a new faucet! LJ replied to me right away on Sunday morning, answered quite a few questions (including looking at a photo I sent him of the sink), and then came to install the faucet the next day. He is very personable and professional, and did a great job with a rather tricky installation. I will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.

We had an emergency situation where our downstairs had flooded due to a busted water pipe. This provider was professional and one of the few plumbers I called that day to respond immediately. They came out that same day and were very responsive to our questions. The representative set us at ease on a very hectic day! The price was fair, and they honored the Angie's List discount. I would recommend this company and would use them in the future for our plumbing needs.

Called LJ on a Monday morning to schedule work. He took my availability for the week and then said he'd call me before he came out at some point during the days I told him I was free. I had some other family things come up and when he did call on Wednesday I was unavailable so we scheduled for sometime on Saturday. Saturday morning he called and told us when he would come out. He arrived on time, did the work to our satisfaction, cleaned up after himself and gave us an estimate on the other work we need to have done in our bathroom remodeling projects. Have not had anyone else quote the job so can't say for sure but prices seemed in line with what we were expecting and had budgeted. He was professional and we'll likely call him for the rest of the work when we get to that point. I am not the biggest fan of his lack of scheduling, would rather have a set window as I felt like I couldn't plan or do much during the days when I wasn't sure when he'd be out, but that's my only complaint and I'm sure we can work out something more specific next time.

The appointment was rescheduled a couple of times because they were not showing up the appointments. After they left, we found that they had broken a knob and water leaked everywhere. They did come back to complete the repair without any troubles. They didn’t leave any mess behind.

The service went well. I had them install a new toilet and repair a shower head. The technician was friendly and professional. Scheduling was not an issue.

They did just fine and were very good about cleaning up after themselves and checking for leaks more than once.

I had a leak that was coming from a broken water line running to the fridge. We had some missed calls and miscommunication in the morning but the guys were both great and apologized fully for that. Quickly diagnosed my problem, offered some free advice on home maintenance, cleaned up after themselves, and the price was much lower than I expected. I was very happy with the service I received.

KC Metro Plumbing installed a new water heater in my mom's house in preparation for the sale of the house. As part of the installation it was necessary to raise the water heater off the floor of the basement to allow for basement drainage. The scheduling was painless and the work was done promptly and efficiently. All work met the requirements of the home purchaser's inspector. We used an Angie's List Big Deal for a portion of the labor and were very satisfied with the experience. Would definitely use KC Metro again for future plumbing needs in our home.

This is a great father/son team that is professional, knowledgeable and charge a fair price. They came out for service the very same day that I called for repair. You can feel good supporting a small, local, family-run business. We will most definitely use KC Metro Plumbing again and refer to others. A+

KC Metro was punctual and did a good job on the project. Cost was reasonable. There were some minor cosmetic issues from installation that they came back and repaired properly and quickly.

He was good, he was reliable, he was timely. The work has held up good.

I was very pleased with LJ's courtesy and efficiency. He came out to my house within the promised time frame and checked everything under my kitchen sink very thoroughly before giving me an estimate (a reasonable price, less than I was expecting). He and his son cut out our old copper pipe, which had a long split down the middle, and replaced it with a PVC pipe without any hassle. The new PVC piece is connected to the original copper pipe running down the wall behind our sink. The leak is fixed. LJ and his son were in and out in about 30 minutes. I would definitely call him again in the future.

It was alright. I wouldn't use them again, only just because I did purchase the deal and then at the beginning it seemed like all that I needed would be included as part of that. But by the time the guy unpacked all of his tools, and did the job, took everything back to his car, calculated the bill, it ended up the hours that he billed me for were more than what he initially thought. So I had to pay a little bit more money. I think the service was fine. I would just keep an eye on making sure that you agree on a price upfront and hold him to that. Having to pay additional cost was a bit of a surprise. The quality was fine. He was on time. He was professional, with the exception of the additional billing.

We were desperate when our shower valve broke and we had to have the water turned completely off until it could be fixed. We called around for someone to come out on a Sunday night, and KC Metro was the only place that was able to promise they would come that day. When they arrived, they quickly went to work, fixing all the damage we had caused when trying to repair ourselves, and they installed new hardware as well. It has been working great ever since.

Our water heater stopped functioning on a Friday afternoon. We called KC Metro Plumbing, and LJ answered the phone. He told us he would work us in that same evening, even though it was already late in the day. True to his word, he arrived to our house at 10:00 pm and took a look at the water heater. After determining that it might just need a replacement part, he told us he would call the manufacturer the following day and let us know what he found out. Unfortunately, it turned out that simply replacing the part would not be an option, and so we would have to buy a new water heater. LJ came out that Saturday morning and spent the better part of the day removing the old water heater and installing the new one. He had to leave a few times to obtain additional parts but was prompt and professional, recognizing how important it was to us to get the job done as quickly as possible. By 4:00 that afternoon, we had a fully functioning, brand new water heater. LJ is an absolute professional and knows that plumbing issues are important and need to be addressed quickly. He works until the job is done, no matter how long it takes. We will absolutely hire him again to handle any plumbing issues we may have.

Excellent! Attentive to scheduling my appointment. I thought it was going to be something big because water was coming through the kitchen ceiling. L J Slavens worked me in and quickly diagnosed the problem as being related to the faucet not being caulked and the shower head needing to be tightened. He explained everything he did and was professional and careful. I will definitely call again.

I used this company because they had great reviews from Angie's List members. I found the services to be above and beyond expectations. They worked long & hard & did a great job. Very pleasant to work with too! Couldn't be happier....

J.S.Slavens is very neat, prompt, and was there for me in my emergency. Would definitely use him for any other work I might need in the future.

While checking the functioning of a toilet, L J. discovered the pressure of the water was too high. He recommended a new pressure regulator to replace one that was 45 years old and not working. He and his son replaced the regulator the next day. We are pleased with his work and the fact that he discovered the problem.

It went fine. It took more effort and more time than whatever the deal was. They responded very quickly.
