 + -1 moreThe service was phenominal. The glass shower door completely shattered when it was sliding open & glass was everywhere. I went to Angie's List to find a company. Fountain Glass had excellent reviews so I called them. Fountain glass knew I was concerned about the glass over the floor & that I wouldn't be able to use the shower until the door was replaced. A gentleman named Jeff came almost immediately to clean up the glass & replace the door. I had descibed the door over the phone but not the width. When the new door was installed. It was functional but it was too wide. Not to worry. Jeff stated he would be back as soon he received the proper size door. In a few days he was back & the new door was installed. He was a professional & he was efficient. For everything that was done I felt the price was more than fair. I would highly recommend Fountain Glass to anyone needing this type of service.

 + -1 moreWe remodeled our master bathroom which included a complete tear out of the existing shower and glass enclosure. We visited the showroom in Olathe, KS to check out the shower enclosures. They were helpful and walked us through the various options. Once all of the tile work was finished in our bathroom, Fountain Glass came out to measure for the install. Following the measurement we had some confusion about the installation which delayed the actual install which is why I rated a B on Responsiveness. Overall, this was a very minor issue and the final product looks great. They did a nice job installing the shower enclosure and we're very pleased with the results. We did not seek other quotes on the shower enclosure because we were satisfied with the quote from Fountain Glass. I would recommend Fountain Glass for any shower enclosure installation. NOTE: We added the 10 year clear coat ($130) to the glass to prevent staining and mildew growth. Definitely worth the money and cleaning the glass is so much easier.

I'm amazed at how simply swapping out the old 'box-store' shower door with a professionally installed one has totally transformed the looks of our bathroom. I believe with Fountain Glass we made the right choice and would recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: We had sliding glass door with three panes that had the seal broken and were covered under a warranty with Mid America Window Tint. It took a long time for the warranty process to work and when Fountain Glass finally came out to measure the windows, it took a long time for the windows to get installed and when they were installed, the trim around them (probably called somethng other than trim), the trim was broken so the window panes were set in with small pieces of wood. I was told by the workers that they would have to order new pieces and after 5 days of hearing nothing, I called Fountain Glass. Never knew if they had actually been ordered when the workers left here, and when I called again to check on the status, I was told it would be two months because they had to be ordered from Anderson Windows (these are not even Anderson windows so that made no sense). When I told the lady at Fountain Glass that 2 months was ridiculous, it was a reponse that left me cold - nothing they could do. Now I expect that the window seal issue will become a new problem with what they installed because they will be sitting for 2 months without the trim that seals them!! Mid America Window Tinit came out and looked at them and said it wasn't acceptable and they would expedite it but they don't call me back after repeated attempts to contact them. Very frustrated!! Not a good example of good customer service and I don't know if it is because a warranty with Mid America Window Tint impacts service they provide but I would not use them for any other window replacement in my home!!

 + 0 moreI've had a bit of a haze in my kitchen window for about year now but it finally developed into water drops on/in the glass. I didn't know if it could be repaired. I found Fountain Glass on Angie's list and e-mail a picture to them to see if they could help. They called and said it could be repaired and that they could send someone out to measure and then e-mail me a quote. I was told I didn't need to be home when they came out to measure. They had to get their ladder out as it is a second story window and they did!Got the quote the next day and decided to go forward with the work. A week and a half later they came out to replace the IG unit. It took only 20 to 25 minutes and I had a window I could see out of! A little messy with fingerprint smudges on the frame and glass but they were easy to clean off. Very happy with the results especially since I thought it would cost more!
Description of Work: Replaced a 35 x 15 1/2 Insulated Glass Unit in a window.

 + -1 moreFountain did a great job at a great price. Took less than 10 days from measurements to installation. I got several estimates and Fountain was the lowest. The glass looks fantastic. Everything lines up just right and the gap between panel and door is very small. The installers were very fast, and very professional. I also appreciate that they completeley sealed the fixed panel with clear caulk. No leaks so far.
Description of Work: Installed a frameless Euro-style swinging shower door and fixed panel for new shower.

 + -1 moreVery efficient and very nice people to work with. Very arranging as we had to change an appointment twice for personal reason and they were very helpful with this. The person that fixed the door also gave us advices on how to avoid the problem to repeat itself.
Description of Work: Came twice to our house to fix a custom shower door with broken hinges. The first time, a day after calling them somebody stop by to check what pieces were needed. They order the peices, gave us a call when they got them (and also told us how much it would be to fix the shower), came when they said (with a 30 minutes heads up phone call), fixed the shower door.

 + -1 moreI went to their shop and was able to see their work and tell them exactly what I was looking for. They gave me a price which was better than I could find online for similar mirrors. Plus, I was able to order exact sizing for our project rather than trying to fit what is offered elsewhere. The mirrors are beautiful. They offered installation but told me how to install them. I have a contractor so he did put them up for me.

When the windows came in Fountain came out and installed them. We found that with Fountain there were no hidden charges, they were polite, efficient and professional. We would definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreCalled for an appointment for a quote and they were out the same day. Recieved estimate the next day over the phone and an appointment was made for the work to be done. A two hour window was given as well as commitment to give me an advance phone call as to when the person would be arriving. The removal was perfect with no damage to the walls and the installed mirror looks fantastic especially with the extra beveled edge trim that was added.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced a mirror in my bathroom. Also added some decorative trim made with mirror to each edge.

 + -1 moreI'm very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Fountain Glass. Each person I came into contact with was very respectful and polite. Jacob (the "un" installer made two trips to the home; once to give me an estimate and then returned the next week with Carlos to do the work. Both times he arrived during the time period promised and gave me a courtesy call beforehand to let me know that he was on his way. The office also called me with the estimate, on the day it was promised, and office staff was very helpful. Our mirrored walls, circa 1984, were in large panels and some were irregular in shape & size. I originally thought I would deconstruct them myself but then thought it would be best to have a professional do it if the price was reasonable. Jacob & Carlos did a wonderful job of removing all the mirrors and thoroughly cleaned up and vacuumed afterwards. I knew ahead of time that drywall underneath the mirrors would need repair when the mirrors were removed so it wasn't a surprise to me. I will definitely use them again for any of my glass, window, and mirror needs and will refer them to others.

 + -1 moreQuality products. The frameless shower was incredibly low-priced compared to other bids. The metal frame on the framed shower is unobtrusive. They had some problems with measuring on the mirror, so that it came out smaller than what I had wanted. I asked for a discount, but they suggested framing the mirror with beveled glass as an alternative solution at no charge. I took it, and now my bathroom looks so rich! I am totally delighted with them. Their customer service is the best I've ever experienced.
