Description of Work: We did not let them complete the job as they would not follow industry standards for laying 18 inch square tile. We paid them for work done and completed the job ourselves. They would not even consider doing the job the way we wanted it done and argued with us regarding the way we wanted the tile laid.

THERE WAS A 7 WEEK PERIOD THIS SUMMER WHEN I WAS NOT TAKING "ANY" CALLS BECAUSE I WAS HEAVILY MEDICATED AND RECUPERATING FROM BROKEN BONES IN MY FOOT. I SHUT MY PHONE OFF COMPLETELY RATHER THAN RISK SOUNDING LIKE AN UNPROFESSIONAL INTOXICATED PERSON.

FIRST OF ALL LET ME SAY I'M SORRY THAT YOU SEEM SO ANGRY ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS. WE RECEIVE FAR MORE CALLS THAN WE CAN RESPOND TO AND WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON OUT OF TOWN PROJECTS FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS NOW. I TRY TO RESPOND TO AS MANY CALLS AS I CAN AND I SEND EMAILS TO THOSE I CAN TO LET THEM KNOW WERE NOT AVAILABLE TO GIVE ESTIMATES. HONESTLY, I AM SHOCKED THAT ANGIE'S LIST WOULD POST A REPORT THAT IS OBVIOUSLY INTENDED TO JUST GET EVEN. WEIGHT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE FACT THAT WE HAVE AND CONTINUE TO STRIVE FOR A SUPERB WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS, AS CAN BE SEEN BY ALL OF OUR OTHER REPORTS. I HAVE TO BALANCE MY TIME AS BEST I CAN TO SERVE MY CURRENT CUSTOMERS NEEDS. I HAVE NO SECRETARY, SO IF I TOOK EVERY CALL I RECEIVED I WOULD LOSE A LOT OF TIME TO INSTALL MY CURRENT CUSTOMERS JOBS. Good experience. Inquiry phone calls for a quote and timing options were handled courteously and promptly. We were able to get the work done very quickly. JMS was on time, friendly (even humoring our 4-year-old who had many questions) and did a nice job. We were pleased.

Jon returned my original call within 24 hours, and gave me a rough estimate over the phone. His estimate was within $50 of all the other estimates I had received. He began the job 3 days later and finished within 1 1/2 days after starting. The work was done quickly and the job was done well. All debris and materials were removed by Jon & his crew. $468 was for labor only. I provided all materials.
Description of Work: Tiled a basement floor for a room 117sq'. Layed tile and grout.

WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH JON AND SCOTT'S WORK, ATTITUDES AND RESULT. THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THEY WERE RELIABLE AND NEAT. JON MET WITH US FOR TWO HOURS EACH IN THE DESIGN PHASE AND AT THE TILE SHOP. HE PASSED ON THE TILE DISCOUNT TO US. THEIR WORK IS SPECTACULAR. WE CAN NOT RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH AND WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
