Danielsan Electric

I have used Danielsan Electric many times in the past two years. It is a wonderful company to work with. All of the employees are courteous, pleasant and talented. The owner, Dan, is thorough, responsive and a pleasure to work with. He and his team have been instrumental in helping me make my old house safe and electrically sound. They are very neat = whatever job I ask them to do, they come promptly, call ahead, are responsive to my timing needs and those of the other contractors and are extremely cooperative. I would recommend them with my highest accolades and without hesitation.

We were extremely satisfied with the work done by the company. They did a great job and they were really nice guys to have around as well. Great prices, totally honest, perfect work.

Overall fine but the billing was something of a problem.

The whole experience was great. Dan is super reliable, has great ideas, doesn't easily frustrate. The cable lights were a newer thing (I believe) to Dan but he tackled it in a very fearless and professional way and the outcome is spectacular. I will be bringing Dan back next year for some landscape lighting.

Danielsan was very responsive - Dan called the same day and tried to trouble shoot the problem over the phone to save us a service call. Mike was out early the next morning and helped us determine that the issue was something for the electric company to fix. My husband felt that the visit was worthwhile and provided him with education about what to look for if we encounter future electrical issues in our home.

He was very prompt the first time. I had to by a new fan for installation. We had to play telephone tag to get the appointment. The work was done really well. So far, the fans are running without any trouble. He was very responsive the first time.

Overall the experience was great. The woman answering the phones and scheduling was very friendly and responsive. I called on a Friday AM and a technician wasn't able to call me back until Tues AM. He was very apologetic and explained that he had a few emergencies pop-up on Monday and had meant to call me back earlier. Honestly, wasn't a big deal to me. I understand being busy and wasn't expecting a 24hr turn around or anything. After scheduling the visit for the next AM the technician came out promptly at 8:15. He was a very nice young man and obviously knew his trade. I explained everything that I had tried so far and he honestly listened and he told me I was on the right track... whether he was just being nice or not I don't know. Either way, it made me feel better :) Took him a little over an hour to diagnose the problem, fix it and then put all the switch/outlet plates back together. Throughout he was very courteous and polite. Would even ask before going down in the basement to turn off the breaker. Billing was a good experience, too. I rec'd the invoice in the mail about a week after the job. It was a little more than I expected, but quite honestly it has been years since I hired an electrician so I don't know if my expectations were realistic. In their defense I tend to think everything is a little expensive... so more my problem than their's.

From the first contact with the company, that being the person answering the phone, to speaking with the owner, to the technician (Mike) that provided the service, all I can say is Wow! Everyone is very courteous, and you know right away that providing good customer service is one of their main goals. My job was completed in a VERY timely manner, the technician even helped me with an unrelated situation for which I am very grateful, and he made sure before he started that we both were "on the same page". I left for work with complete confidence and upon my return, the work was completed, everything worked great, and if I had not personally seen the technician, I would never have known anyone had been there - - - very thorough and very neat! I will definitely call Danielsan Electric for any future work that I need done! Thanks for being on Angie's List! (Received a nice discount as well, for being an Angie's List customer).

The electrician arrived on time and worked on the problem outlet. I explained the other work I wanted done and he surveyed the areas, breaker boxes and sent an estimate for the work to be done.

We like them very well. It was all outside work and they cleaned up after they left.

Danielsan Electric was extremely helpful with replacing a couple of lighting fixtures in my 1920's home. I generally do this type of activity myself, but was having trouble with a couple fixtures due to the age of the house and wiring. Danielsan came and corrected the issues I was experiencing and also explained, in a very friendly manner, why I was experiencing those issues. I will definitely be calling Danielsan for future electrical needs.

Dan Huston and his associates do an extremely good job and Dan is particularly adept with older homes. Responsive, professional and genuine are three words that always come to mind. More than once he’s found workarounds to expensive repairs saving us time and money. Considering how important electricity is to the average person, there are very few I’d trust with the safety of my family and we trust Danielson.

Daniel was prompt, professional, and was able to fix the light fixture and explained what was wrong with it (it had been wired wrong and the wrong kind of switch had been used). Would hire him again for anything electric.

I contacted Mr. Huston on Friday, April 22nd regarding our electrical issue and he responded very promptly. Our issue with our inspection occurred over a holiday weekend and Mr. Huston went above and beyond what I would have expected from an electrician. He scheduled an appointment for an estimate with my realtor on Monday of the following week. I explained that we had to have the work done as soon as possible due to time constraints from our home sale. He was able to provide the estimate and complete the work immediately. He initially quoted approximately $125 from my description of the work over the phone, but the actual cost was even less than the estimate. I very much appreciated his overall professionalism.

Workers showed up on date promised, were friendly, well versed in job expectations, neat, and in general went the "extra mile" to make sure that everything was done properly and to my satisfaction. Cost was in line with the work done. I have used this company before and would not hesitate to use them again. I highly recomend them.

We called Danielsan Electric because of their rating on Angie's List as well as the fact that they are a member of the Lawrence Giveback program. We had called and spoke to Dan several times prior to the completion of this job and felt comfortable with the fact that he knew how to install the components. Overall, the experience was good. The only reason that we can't say excellent is that we feel that he didn't completely know what he was doing on this particular job. He called while installing the components to ask how to hook it up, even though the Danfoss installation manual was in his possession. Granted, this was a more difficult installation, but that is why we called an electrician. I think that it took a little longer than it would have taken had he been more familiar with the components. We will definitely give this company another chance (in fact we are about to call him for some ceiling fan installations). He was professional, punctual, and his work was quality.

Very well -- contacted based on Angie's list referral, he was able to meeti my availabilty and was extremely responsive.

We tried to get a hud loan to upgrade house. City estimates dictated we get electrical done outside the loan so.... I used Angies List ref and the workers were prompt courteous and work was $3000 cheaper than the bid from the contractors who were tied in with the loan! We were extremely happy with all aspects of our relationship with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've worked with a lot of electricians over the past year to help with the needs of my five retail stores. Danielsan is small enough that you get their full attention. They are professional enough to do the job right at the right price. Dan and his crew use good materials. Usually electricians will use a plastic box with a sticky back to terminate cat five and phone lines in our cash-wraps. Danielsan used a metal junction box with a true wall plate and conduit to protect the bare wire. I was floored when I saw it. Its the little things that turn an ok job into an excellent job. If I ever have electrical needs I will call Danielsan. They also wired eight security cameras at two stores. Other electrical companies where going to charge me outrageous prices because it was low voltage and other crews won't even look at the cameras because its low-voltage. I had a very good experience with the company. The guy that came out was terrific. He did a really good job. He explained what he was doing and why. He cleaned up well after himself and he was really quick. I thought the price was very fair. I had to get a new ceiling fan from the company as the one I had was not working properly.

Danielsan always does an excellent job and I have referred them many times. Thorough, trustworthy, cleans up when they leave. They are the best.
