Description of Work: Installed propane generator, wired a building and installed ceiling fans and fixtures

Description of Work: Fixed dead outlet in one bathroom. Found it was tied to miswired GFI outlet in another bathroom after going into attic to trace wire. Could not find problem at first but would not leave until he fixed problem.

Description of Work: They checked on why a breaker interrupted current a couple of times. They couldn't find anything wrong that needed to be repaired. They showed up on time for an 8:30 AM appointment on a Monday. | |(I like scheduling that particular time because it tells me a lot about the character of the employees. I have had workers cancel those times before with cases of the "Monday flu" (most likely too much to drink over the weekend)--usually they give some lame excuse about the transmission in their truck.) | |Anyway, even though there wasn't anything wrong and they didn't need to repair anything, I plan on using this company in the future because they passed my Monday AM scheduling test.

Description of Work: I had initially called them to change out the "eyelid" light fixtures above my fireplace (that were installed to illuminate a picture hanging above the fireplace). The fixtures used light bulbs that were the ceramic-based ones that kept burning out, so they were going to install new fixtures. However, the young man who came to do the work told me that the reason they kept burning out was that they were too hot, and pointed out that the "eyelid" portion of the fixtures had yellowed from being overheated. He said he thought that there were now LED lights that would fit those fixtures. I authorized him to go to Ace Hardware to check (and yes, I authorized the cost of his time to do so), and he came back with two LED lights that fit the fixtures and have vents around the lights so they don't overheat. He charged me for his time and the cost of the light bulbs, which was fine with me--I don't like climbing up on ladders and now I will probably never have to change those lights again! It was a lot cheaper than having him remove and replace the fixtures. Plus he was super nice and very professional.

Description of Work: Quality of work was A+. I thought that they did exceptionally well at what we had them do for us. My biggest problem was pricing. I come from a construction background (specifically the $$$ side of the equation) and I thought that there rates were unusually high for an electrician. The work itself was great. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have some firm numbers from them up front. From there your experience with them should be top notch.

Description of Work: Danielsan has done several jobs for me, installing fixtures, wiring a shed, removing old overhead fans. The people that have done the work have always been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will call them again when I need electrical work done.

Description of Work: Installed a standby Generac generator. Professional, expert installation.

Description of Work: We had them replace a couple of switches and outlets, run a RG-6 cable to a bedroom, pull our attic fan and take it to get the pulley replaced, then reinstall the motor. They spent a lot of time on the attic fan making sure it was done correctly. We were very impressed with the care they took, the time, and the price. We also used them to address some issues that came up during inspection when we first bought our house in 2005. They have been wonderful. We highly recommend Danielsan!

Description of Work: Danielsan is the VERY best! The best service, nicest employees. Very knowledgeable, professional and helpful!

Description of Work: They rewired our entire 1923 house, adding plugs, replacing dated wiring, giving us updated service, and installing smoke/co alarms per code. This was a big job. They were courteous, created relatively few holes in the wall in order to replace wires, and always left me with electrical service at the end of the day.

Description of Work: A newly installed dishwasher was not consistently working, indicating a problem with electricity and it was not a problem with the appliance. The electrician discovered a worn out wiring in the outlet, replaced the outlet and probably prevented a fire. Service was prompt and courteous. |
