Rigdon Floor Coverings were not the cheapest bid we received,  but were the most professional. The job from start to finish was first rate.

They were just fine.

Installers were prompt, knowledgeable and incredibly neat

The job went very well.  Bob Rigdon was very thorough and careful in his estimating and was very clear about what was included in the their services (which was also very complete).  He walked us through numerous options and re-estimated a couple times based on our changing interests and budget.  The installers were profession, courteous and on-time.  We had some schedule conflict due to painters taking longer than anticipated, and Rigdon adapted their plans to accommodate our tight schedule (getting the wood flooring done before the movers arrived!).
The quality of the work was excellent and we would certainly recommend Rigdon to anyone.
On another job at our former house, we got a quote from Rigdon, but we decided to go with a *slightly* less expensive provider.   We greatly regretted it as their quote was not detailed and there a number of details that Rigdon has quoted that the other provider omitted and didn't do.

Mr.Rigdon arrived on time for our first appointment. He took all the measurements, showed us samples. After picking a carpet he gave us a price that was less than two other estiments. He then told us he believed he had enough carpeting in stock to do the job. We then told him that we would get back to him. The next day we called and he told us that he could start the job in two days. His crew showed up and in two days had the job completed. They did an excellent job including two difficult bird cages at the bottom of the staircase rails. They did an excellent job cleaning up .

Bob Rigdon worked with Chris Hammond Remodeling on our master bath project. Bob helped us pick out the tile to coordinate with the tile already on the floor. This was not easy, as we were trying to match beiges and keep within a pretty strict budget. They also helped with suggestions for tile trim strips and chair rail tile. It's so helpful to have someone help who can visualize the final result!

We had a complete new shower tiled - walls and floor. The shower base was completely rebuilt. New backer board was installed on the walls. The walls were then tiled, a seat built and tiled, trim tile was added. It looks great. The tub surround and deck were tiled, including a trim strip and chair rail tile. More beautiful than we imagined! Bullnose tile was added as a baseboard trim. We also had some cracked floor tile replaced - you can't even tell there was a problem.

The tilers were true artists and very professional. They showed up on time (even in a big snowstorm). They were as clean as possible with such a dusty job. They cleaned every evening before they left.

After the job was finished, Bob Rigdon even sent us a helpful information packet on cleaning the tile.

It's great to know that we have found people who can do great tile work. For some reason, I think this is a hard skill to find. I would highly recommend Bob Rigdon's company for any tiling project you might have.

It went exactly as it should have to a T.

At the showroom, the sales team was courteous and extremely helpful in helping us pick out a carpet that was appropriate for our home.  They worked with us to schedule appointments that would work for us and were on-time for every appointment.  The installers were courteous, clean and did an excellent job of installing the carpet without damaging the newly painted walls and baseboards.  We will definitely use them to replace the remainder of the carpet in the house.

The installers were very professional. I was informed ahead of time what I needed to do to prepare for them and what amount of furniture moving they would do while they worked.
They performed the job in the allotted time and hauled all of my old carpet away.  I was given the option of being home or not.  I chose not. When I returned to my beautiful new carpet, and my large furniture was back where it had been, I was very happy.  I am a satisfied customer.

We scheduled the work for a week we were to vacation in California, so as to minimize our exposure to noise, sawdust, etc.  We removed all of our stuff, and they proceeded to move all furniture out into the garage.  They re-finished existing flooring and did a supurb job matching the new with the 14 year old 3/4 inch oak flooring.  There are a couple of places rarely seen which have sub-standard materials, which is ok, and one of the furniture items, a  floor lamp, no longer functions, so we'll have to throw it in the garbage.  I just cannot imagine any one else doing such a fine job matching existing flooring to new, and we would have spent several more thousands on (cheaper) manufactured flooring had we accepted the offer of a local flooring shop.

I started my search looking for laminate flooring since I wasn't ready to invest in hardwoods.  I found Rigdon through Angie's List and within 2 days of calling, Bob came out to measured and gave me an estimate about 45 mins later.  He had brought some samples and we talked a little about what I was looking for and he suggested engineered hardwoods.  I was unfamiliar with the product but after a little education and research i knew I was headed in the right direction.  I had showed him a sample from Home Depot of a laminate style/color I liked and when I went  to his showroom the next day he had picked out a floor that was exactly what I was looking for and didn't cost much more than laminate from Home Depot.  One week later my flooring was delivered and a week after that the project was complete!
The staff that works for Bob obviously take pride in the company.  They were always happy, punctual and clean.  I had a minor problem with the re installation of my toilet in the bathroom and within 2 hours of my call they were out to fix it!  It could not have gone any faster or smoother!
I would defiantly use them again for any other future flooring projects.

The whole process went perfectly. The workers were efficient and polite. They completed the work quickly and left everything clean.

Visited their showroom and got very attentive and friendly service, helping us pick out the right kind of carpet and pad for our needs. We set up a time for Bob to come out and measure our spaces for an estimate. He arrived promptly, and quickly measured the areas and gave me a preliminary figure. I told him we were ready to go forward with them, and he mailed me a formal estimate. Shortly after I sent in the deposit, I heard from Ryan about scheduling, which we set up for the 5th of March. Then we had our only glitch, as it did not get put on their schedule, and nobody showed up on the 5th. However, when I called to see where they were, Ryan remembered us talking and was beside himself that he had messed up. He tried to see if he could get a crew out to start that afternoon, but did not have any available, so we set it up for the 7th, as I was not available on the 6th. He also said that he would send out a three man crew to make sure it would be done in one day. Later that morning, I talked with Bob Rigdon, who was also mortified about the scheduling snafu, so much so that he immediately took a chunk off of the total bill. Combined with the genuine distress they exhibited at having inconvenienced us, that really impressed us. When the morning of the 7th came, the crew showed up right around 9 am, got right to work, and stayed at it (except for their lunch break) until shortly after 4 pm, when they were completely finished, including putting the large furniture back. They even checked with me to make sure they had put things in the right place. They did a great job, the carpet looks great, and we are very pleased with the overall experience. I really must commend them for how they handled the scheduling glitch, as I have dealt with other contractors that not only did not handle the problem as well, but didn't even seem concerned that there was a problem. I would use Rigdon Floor Coverings again in a heartbeat!

Ours was a sizable project.  We basically were reflooring the majority of the first floor of our home, shy of our combination dining/ hearth room which are hardwoods.  This is the only area on that story of the house that stayed thesame.  
I had gotten estimates from three different flooring contractors, all from Angie's list.  All seemed tobe conscience and good.  But Rigdon Floor Coverings stood out to me.  Bob Rigdon came to our home for measurements.  He was incredibly detail oriented and knowledgeable.  He could foresee potential challenges.  And he fore-casted them with 100% accuracy.   As far as installation goes, there were no surprises during the entire renovation.
I had already chosen the porcelain tile to be installed.  And we discussed the options for the new carpet to go on the stairs and the hardwood options for the bedroom.  Bob was accommodating.   I could tell by his demeanor that he really cared about what he was doing.   I hired him based on a gut feeling more than anything else, as his bid was competitive but did come in a bit higher than the other two bids that I got.   I have not regretted this decision.
Our job was placed into their schedule.  The time for the renovation was estimated to be three weeks, which seemed VERY ambitious to me.   I had no doubt that it would take longer.   The floor installers arrived on the exact morning that our work schedule was to begin.
I'm not going to lie here, the work was noisy and dirty (I work at home).   Three inches of concrete had to be jack-hammered out from under where our entry tile was.   Tile installer Dave did this without damaging any of the wood around this area.   I was impressed by this.  This part of the house was partitioned off with plastic, but gray dust did get everywhere.  I believe that the dust must have traveled through the duct work of our house.
Each day, usually two installers worked here, occasionally three.  They worked long days, only breaking for lunch.  They always arrived with every tool necessary.  And they arrived with enthusiastic attitudes.  This was noticeable to someone like me who was in the house during the entire renovation.
There originally was to be two different tile colors installed, one in the master bathroom/ closet, and the other in the rest of the house where new tile was to be.   The dye-lot for the bathroom tile arrived and was not even close to the tile samples that I had seen of that make and color.  I had even seen a sample of this tile done up on the floor of the tile place.  My dye-lot was completely different.  And it was UGLY!   So the tile place had a different dye-lot of that same tile shipped in.   it too, was waaaay off.  It too, was waaaay ugly!     So we concluded that this tile was likely no longer made by the same manufacturer.  We ended up just putting the same tile throughout.  And I'm so glad that we did.   Bob responded immediately to little snaffoos.  I couldn't have asked for more from him.
Project manager Dave led the way for most of the prep-work and installation.  Others were crucial too, providing professional results and beautiful work.  These guys bent over backwards for this to go smoothly.   They even designed the installation so that we could still walk through the heavy traffic parts of our house.  We did  move into our guest room on another floor of the house.  But Dave was very aware that we still had to be able to traverse certain parts of the house.  He was very clever about this.  And our kitchen was only unusable for two days!   Dave and Louis knocked themselves out to accommodate us in every way.
The renovation went very smoothly and we ended up coming in slightly under budget, due to the tile change necessitated by the bad dye-lot.  The project did go over the time they predicted by a week and a half.  But I had expected this.  This was a VERY labor intensive job.    I did notice that toward the end the guys were feeling the pressure (not by me) to get this job wrapped up.  It was only then that some of the work was a bit rushed.  But nothing bad resulted from this.
I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and have already recommended them to a friend.

They offer a large selection of choices in carpet, vinyl, and other flooring.  The bid was competitive.  The work was done in a professional manner and on time.  We are very pleased with the result.

Bob Rigdon came out promptly, gave us a fair bid, which was about the same as Home Depot's.  He scheduled it within a few weeks, and the job was outstanding.  There were 3 layers of old flooring in our 1959 house that had been laid upon each other.  The crew quickly tore this out, approximately 150 square feet, and installed beautiful wood laminate.  But the amazing work was from Dave, the tile man.  Both jobs he did were PERFECT.  I would never use anyone else to do tile in my home.  They cleaned up everything and were extremely helpful and informative during install.  Great company to work with.

They arrived on time, installed the carpet I selected, did a great job for the quoted amount, were out in a few hours with the area cleaned.

.ABOVE FANTASTIC!!  Don't waste your time at the big box stores or NFM... it's not worth it.. We spent many hours and visits at other places and kept coming back to my first choice of Rigdon Floor Coverings. At Rigdon, you find superior service and a quality product, all from a family owned and operated company.   Elsewhere, just add up all the individual costs that aren't spelled out very clearly, and you will find Rigdon is cost competitive.
Bob came out and measured our whole house in about 30 minutes and recommended we visit the showroom. Very professional.
Sandy and the other lady in the carpet showroom (Rachel ?) were very helpful, patient  and without any sales pressure whatsoever.  I checked out large samples and carpet board several different times to make the right color choice.  For the special order dining room carpet we had installed, they even ordered samples that were sent directly to my home.
Although we have measured the house for whole carpet replacement, we are breaking it into more manageable projects from a budget perspective.  Ridgon has been very accommodating to provide different quote breakouts for our needs.  We will be doing our basement carpet next.

We were referred to Rigdon Floor Coverings by a home developer who had previously used them and been very satisfied with the company.  At their showroom , we explained our needs, selected carpet samples to take home, and made an appointment for someone to come out and measure our areas.  Bob Rigdon, owner, came to our home the next day and was punctual, curteous, and very helpful with selection of both carpeting and pads.  Installation was arranged for the following week.  Ruben and Roberto were the installation specialists and they worked efficiently and tirelessly to complete the total job in two days.  They were very conscientious of the newly painted trim and doors that had recently been completed.  They vacuumed the new carpet and returned furniture to their original location.  Ruben is a master craftsman at carpeting stairs!
I would highly recommend this company to someone who wants to support a locally owned family business that has been in our area for over 40 years.   This is a company with integrity, high standards for workmanship, and a wonderful selection of carpeting.

Showed up on time. They removed the old carpet and backing. Installed a new high traffic carpet and the detal and quality are great.
