About us

Established in 1990 Ramos Upholstery is a bilingual, family owned and operated business that specializes in furniture restoration/upholstery & Repair. Filiberto Ramos Sr began in the upholstery industry in 1980 under the supervision of a family friend. In 1984, after the birth of his last son, he decided to start his own business that he could later pass down to his 3 sons. Today, Ramos Upholstery has perfected the trade in all fields of upholstery. Each son has developed their own area of expertise and all bring a unique vision and level of perfection from refinishing antique furniture to creating custom framework for modern pieces.

Description of Work: I was getting a sick bed reupholstered for my son's elementary school. I contacted Ramos Upholstery via email requesting a quote, and they promptly replied to my first email but then failed to respond to my second email so I called them. I provided the upholstery and they gave me a fair price to complete the work. They called several days BEFORE their estimated completion date to tell me the bed was ready! I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the speed in which they completed the work. So, other than not responding to my email, I was quite impressed with the company and will do business there in the future.
