Finished on time but spring was to short and came loose again in 2 months (should have been 10 loops not nine). How can a professional make that mistake? Recliner is 15 years old and old springs and clips show no rust. The new spring and clips used show rust already. I consider this a terrible job!

Extremely well! Their work is beautiful. I had had the sofa re-covered before elsewhere and work Ramos did was superior. I chose an intricate pattern for the sofa fabric and they matched the pattern across the back and on the cushions. They also rebuilt the frame and polished the wood trim on the back and arms. It's basically a new sofa. The recliner, done in a striped fabric, is also perfectly matched and looks much more expensive than it was originally. The work wasn't cheap, but I chose pricey fabrics. They were polite and totally professional. They clearly care about their work. I would hire again in a heartbeat.

They redid a loveseat with fabric we provided (bought online--much cheaper and greater selection). They don't always answer the phone or return calls promptly, but they came right when they said they would, both when they picked up the loveseat and when they returned it. The work was excellent and at a good price. I've used them before and would again.

They did a beautiful job, and were well-versed in different upholstery finishing techniques. Huge selection of fabrics - 2 walls of sample books in their shop to look through at our leisure, no pressure to make any decisions.

I had 8 dining room chairs that were in dire need of a makeover. The foam was practically nonexistent because when you sat in them you could feel the wood frame. I was given two different kinds of foam to choose from as a replacement. I chose the one that wasn't quite as firm as the other. I already had fabric so I didn't have to purchase any. They did a FANTASTIC job! And it took them less time than originally expected. My chairs look brand new and are very comfortable to sit in. I couldn't be more pleased.

Ramos Upholstery made my wife a new and better supported seat cushion for her comfortable chair. The foam is much firmer and a better fit for her chair and the synthetic leather upholstery allows her to slide in and out of the chair easily. He also created new seat cushions and ottoman cushion for our sun porch's rattan furniture with attractive indoor/outdoor fabric. They are durable and look fantastic.

We were absolutely amazed! Not only did they do a superb job, they did it in the time agreed upon at the time we took it in; and at the price they set. They've done a professional job (I used to be co-owner of a furniture manufacturing plant....I KNOW good furniture building when I see it!), and have kept us apprised of progress. I'd bought the upholstery, planning to do the job myself. Then, I fell, breaking my arm in two places. My husband had this done as my Christmas gift! :) Lovely man! I couldn't be more pleased with this company, and if I need reupholstering in the future, they'll be my first choice.

The price was reasonable. They did an amazing job! They did the work in a timely fashion. I have nothing negative to say about them. They even picked up the furniture and dropped it off when it was done.

e had that I could order) I told him that I was looking for fabric for one chair and had the fabric already for the other he said no problem when I bring them in we can go over a time frame that would allow me to continue to search to find what I wanted without holding him up, professional and considerate. I did not have the work done only because one of the chairs was to badly damaged from being in storage ( climate control was the after thought-horrid turn out), but when I find me another chair with the same or similar shape to the one that still needs the work he will be the person I go to, he was very affordable and really understanding to what I wanted/needed.

I dropped the barstools off at his house/shop and picked them up later at the same location. However, I believe his business has moved to Kansas City, Kansas since that time. I would highly recommend Ramos Upholstery.

Working with Ramos Upholstery was a great experience. He was very friendly to work with and very prompt. He came to get our furniture the day we called him and it was back in two weeks-ahead of schedule. He sent pictures as he went and the results are beautiful. He did an amazing job and the price could not be beat. We won't go anywhere else.

My sofa is about 27 years old and was sagging badly when sat upon. I love this sofa and decided to repair rather than replace. Ramos understood exactly what was needed, quoted an accurate price estimate, and quickly picked up the sofa for repair. They were polite and efficient. They repaired the sofa in less time than they expected and delivered the sofa within a week. They had repaired the webbing, replaced the fabric covering the sofa seat, and even repaired a long tear where the upholstery had worn away. You can't even see where the tear was after they got done. The total cost was at least half of what another upholsterer had estimated and a fourth of what a third company thought the repair cost would run. Ramos did charge $5 for using a credit card, which I didn't realize until I got the final bill. But because of the low cost and extra work that was done, I didn't say anything. They did a great job - the sofa looks great, no longer sags, and is very comfortable. I would definitely ask them to do any other upholstery work I might need and I recommend them to others.

Overall it was a great experience. They were very responsive from the beginning and their price was very good. I thought the chair turned out beautifully and they were very communicative about when they'd be picking up the chair and dropping it off (for a small fee).

Mr. Ramos is a very nice man that appears to be committed to doing good work. He did a very nice job of putting on the new material. It looks great. The one thing I will do differently if I use him in the future is to account for the language barrier - his English not great. I wanted the chair to have new padding put in it because the old padding was worn out after 25 years; I thought I has explained that. So I asked if him if he wanted me to also get the new padding when he asked me to get the material for him to use; he said no and that he only needed the material. When I got the chair back it was obvious that he didn't put in new padding. So I'm left with a chair that looks very nice but is not comfortable to sit in. That's a problem for an office chair that I use every day so I am ultimately disappointed.

I called and received estimate and instructions for buying fabric. After buying fabric, called and they came and picked up sofa that same day. Sofa was delivered complete reupholster one week later. Final price was slightly under estimate. Work was professional. Sofa like new. Great price. Friendly small business.

Very responsive with initial bid; replaced fabric with a relatively intricate pattern on a large sofa. Paid attention to detail on each aspect of the project - down to the straps and loops that were sewn into the original seat cushions. Sofa looks great! We are impressed by the quality of the work as well as the turn-around time once Ramos Uphostery received the fabric from us.

Mr. Ramos was very punctual and did an excelllent job for a great price. I plan on using him again for some more chairs.

They picked up the chair, I took the fabric to their house on State Line, and they returned the chair. Easy.

We called Mr Ramos, made an appointment, and delivered the cushions to him. We brought our 6 leather seat cushions from our 10 year old couch, loveseat and chair to Mr Ramos. He had them ready the next day. It feels like sitting on all new furniture after the upholstery work done by Mr Ramos. Additionally, and without us asking for it, Mr Ramos fixed a couple loose threads. We look forward to another 10 years or more of enjoying our furniture. Working with Mr Ramos was very easy and convenient. In regards to the cost, at $300, (50 per cushion) Mr Ramos was probably a just little cheaper than other companies we considered, but it was the overall ease of the process that made us choose him, and not only have we no regrets but we'd gladly recommend his services to anyone.

Ramos Upholstery was responsive to our request for a quote, providing an over the phone estimate and then following up promptly when requested to make a site visit to confirm their quote. Their quoted price was significantly lower than their competitors we were more familiar with. We gave them the job based on both their price and the impression they made on us when they visited as being experienced and competent. The results of their work when they returned the furniture completely validated our impression. And they delivered exactly to the day when they said they would when they picked up the pieces. Their attention to detail and workmanship were flawless, and included enhancements we hadn't discussed and didn't expect. We could have paid twice the price and not gotten a better result than Mr. Ramos provided. We would highly recommend Ramos Upholstery to anyone who needs upholstery work done.
