Three delivered and set up TVs later one finally worked properly. Nebraska Customer Service was excellent in giving us options on a trade out or future delivery of what we had purchased. We opted to go with what we purchased originally. NFM kept the new Tv's coming until we were satisfied, which we are. From point of sale to final install dealing with the people that make NFM go has been excellent.
Description of Work: Salesman recommedended we buy the extended warranty, which on electronics, I don't often do. In this case however since the TV was a first generation 4K we took his advice.

In both cases it was perfect. There were two workers. It took about 15 minutes to install. There is nothing to dislike. They came and did what they were supposed to and didn't break anything.

(Ordered washing machine over the phone. Salesman was straightforward and beat the competitor's price (and free delivery on top of that). The delivery department called me and rescheduled the delivery ahead of schedule (good for me since laundry was piling up), so it was 6 days from ordering on the phone to having an installed washing machine (I had ordered a model they don't usually keep in stock). After it was delivered (on time), I called and requested a shipping part be given to me that is needed to secure the drum when the machine is moved, and the guy I talked to (Gilbert) was helpful, courteous, and didn't argue with me or tell me that the manual was wrong. He got the information and scheduled the delivery guys to come the next day to deliver the part, which they did with no problems. Both times the delivery guys were friendly enough and got the job done quickly. I did a visual check and ran the machine thru a complete cycle, and everything appears to be ok (no damage). After both deliveries, I got a follow-up phone call to make sure everything went ok. Overall I had a very good experience, and would definitely do business again with this company.

The installer showed up promptly. He did a much better job of scraping the old foam pad off of the floor from the carpet that I had previously removed. He put a fast drying leveler on the floor, made a template for the floor and took it back to his shop to pre-cut the vinyl. He did a great job of installing the vinyl flooring and made sure to use trim strips that complemented the floor color and color scheme of my kitchen. I would definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the floor installation went using NFM. The visit was scheduled quickly, and the contractor arrived on time. They were courteous and made an effort to work quickly and to clean up after themselves. The job was done in one day with no complaints. The floor looks great, and NFM called later to confirm that we were satisifed. I would have given NFM a better rating on price as I was happy with the cost of the wood and the installatio nprice, but I think that the pricing for quarter round and transition pieces is too high.

After very through shopping around, including finding the exact carpet from an online Dalton GA retailer, NFM was still cheaper. They were they best on price for the carpets we were looking for, great financing and had a great install. Very pleasant experience from start to finish. I have confidence that if something went wrong, they would have fixed it. but everything went as panned and the carpet looks great.

They had a man come in and he did all the measuring and it was great. They charged us $100 for the measuring but they gave it back without us having to ask. They were mobbed when we went to get the samples for the final selection because it was a sale time and they had a specific carpet on sale. There was a lot of people around and not enough sales people. So we didn’t get the individual attention. It was very rushed; it was at least how I felt. We didn’t give them the final selected sample and so we didn’t get any quote. We haven’t gone ahead with project because we got a puppy after getting all the samples. We do a lot of business with them for furniture and everything. They have made an improvement in my opinion. Earlier they made it as hard as they possibly could when we did business with them. But now it is way smoother and easier.

We were suppose to have carpet installed in one day on Dec 14th. Someone at the company cancelled our installation and did not call us to let us know. We waited in the morning for the installer to call. It was suppose to be in between 7-9am. My husband called them around 9:30am. The first lady told him to give it until 11:30-12N to see if someone called. My husband called back a 2nd time around 11:30. That is when a second lady told him that someone cancelled our installation. She started working on trying to get someone out to the house. Around 1:15 she asked us if it was still alright to have someone come out. She found a installer that was willing to come. He was suppose to come by 2:30-3pm at the latest. He didn't call until around 5:30pm saying he was on his way. He still didn't come till around 7:30pm. By this point I had left already with the kids. My husband waited at the house. I would have already cancelled, but I guess my husband has more patience than me. He told me he had to help the installer bring in all the carpet and put it in the room. Then the guy left. He told my husband he would be back the next morning around 8am. He didn't come until 9:30am. He worked on it for hours. It was clear that it was going to interfere with our plans we already had for 5pm. It wasn't suppose to be that day. There was no way I was going to have my kids miss their activity. The installer said we could leave and he would finish. No way!!! My husband had to give up going. The carpet still did not get finished. NFM had ordered the carpet wrong. I knew that they would have to finish another day. He didn't even finish the area he was suppose to. Then there was carpet left in a bedroom for 3 weeks till a set of installers came. They seemed to do a better job then the first guy. The one guy listened better. The first time he was doing the stairs the opposite way of how I wanted them. After everything was sead and done. We called NFM to make this situation right. All we got was unreturned calls. The one thing we requested was to have our financing switched to the 33 mo. They would not do that or take any money off. I am so disapointed in this store now. The customer service was horrible. They never called or checked on anything. Didn't make the situation right. Argued with us on the phone. Don't think we will ever be going back. I actually have more projects to do. Too bad.

Picking a product was very easy, the measuring agent was very punctual and nice. All sales representatives were excellent. I was simply very turned off by the installation price and found that it is a pretty simple project for the diy-er. Their quote for carpet was very reasonable, so I might end up having them install that!
Description of Work: This was a quote only. The price does not include materials. The product, glue down vinyl plank, is not hard enough to install to justify charging this much. I decided to install it myself. That being said, I got an amazing deal on the flooring itself. Home improvement stores were asking around $2/sf and I got it for a little over $1/sf ! I was told it was the best deal they offered on flooring all year. all of the sales people I came in contact with were thoroughly knowledgeable, efficient and had excellent customer service skills.

We bought a chair, kitchen table and a small bar from them. They assembled the table, but not the small bar. They delivered as promised and were polite and quick. I had a problem with a pull cable on the chair and even though is was bought as is they ordered me a new one free of charge. Good company to buy from.

They only service my location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even though I told them those days were not great for me, they were completely inflexible. The date of service was scheduled in advance, but they do not call until the day before to tell you the approximate time. Even though I would ask for early morning, I would get a message that said 1-3 or 12-2. I did this a couple of times before it worked out with my schedule. They wanted to come out twice, the first time to measure and the second to deliver the oven. Because of their inflexibility and challenges with scheduling, it took 6 weeks to get my oven. They sent two guys who took almost two hours to take out the old oven and replace it with a new one that was the wrong size. This was especially frustrating since I had gone out of my way to be there for a separate measuring appointment. Then they insisted on continuing to install the oven, even though I did not want it installed. It took another 3 weeks to get the right sized oven ordered, shipped and of course to find a time on a Tuesday or Thursday that they could deliver because even after that horrible screw up, they refused to accommodate my schedule.
Description of Work: After our oven/microwave combination stopped working, our home warranty company purchased a replacement oven through Nebraska Furniture Mart.

The contractor called 20 minutes in advance of appointment to confirm they were enroute. Arrived on time. Very polite and courteous. They asked questions when needed. Answered all of my questions. Worked diligently and were very detailed. Moved the heavy furniture for me. My carpet looks fabulous. Once the install was complete they vacuumed all of the carpet and put the furniture back in place. Hauled off all of the old pad and carpet. I admittedly was nervous since it was a size able expense but it was a very positive experience and I'd request that particular contractor again.
Description of Work: Moved Furniture, removed old pad and carpet, installed replacement carpet and pad, hauled off old carpet and pad.

I showed the guy at Nebraska Furniture Mart the sofa I wanted and we had good service from him. They know better than to pressure us in to buying anything because we always know exactly what we want. We'd bought a mattress and we've been having trouble with it so somebody is coming out to check on that. This is the second time we've had a problem with a mattress that we've bought. I'm not very heavy and you can see where I've been lying when I get up, and that is not right. The overall experience has been ok. Their prices are pretty good.

I have not had a microwave for two months. I do not believe I will ever receive justice for the wasted time, gas and money. AVOID NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART. bought a microwave From Neb. Furn. Mt, over a year ago, a Frigidaire 2 Cu. ft. It had a loud vibration from the start, which had been getting gradually worse over the latter part of this last year. In January of 2013, I sought service to have this microwave repaired or replaced. A repair company promptly came out and declared my microwave non repairable. My communication with Neb. Furn. Mt. and their insurance company, Assurance turned out be an ordeal lasting several days, and including numerous hours of making and receiving calls, or waiting for calls that should have been returned, but were not. For days I went back and forth trying to communicate between Neb. Furn. Mart customer service in Omaha, and occasionally connecting to their Kansas City Kansas store. After many call consisting of long wait times, not getting the right person, having to repeat my situation numerous times, having my calls dropped (when someone apparently couldn't get me an answer) or were apparently just not motivated to help a customer. After days and hours of this... I was told I would receive a replacement. However, they said I would have to bring in this large heavy totally defective 2 cubic foot unit before I could get a the new one. I indicated I already had someone dispose of it, as Neb. F. Mt., was aware of the repairman's diagnosis who checked the microwave in my home. I was finally authorized to pick up the new microwave and did so, but again only after several hours of phone calls, long waiting periods, and occasionally very insensitive customer service people. who would say they were transferring me and kept me on hold for 10 or more minutes or would just hang up. I picked up the 2nd, of what eventually would include owning 4 units counting the initial unit brought in for repair. Within 3 days this second unit just stopped working. Again I had to go through making many call consisting of long wait times, not getting the right person, having to repeat my situation numerous times, having my calls dropped, as I believe a good number of heir employees did not care and were not motivated to work. Finally, I was authorized to get a 'swap' of this defective microwave for a new one. I picked this unit up. In the time period of a little over a week this microwave (Frigidaire 2 Cu.) totally stopped working . I was told on approximately 2-20-13 that I could get a replacement. About 4 days I received a letter that the microwave was ready to be picked up. I called in response to the letter, and was told that the shipment was not delivered, and was probably held up due to a severe storm. Although their was a storm, this Representative indicated that he was just operating on an assumption, and that the unit would be there in a day or so. The Cust. Serv Rep. did not offer to check on the supposed delivery schedule . On 3-3-13, as I had not received any calls from Neb. Furn. Mt., I called Neb Furn. Mt. I experienced the typical waiting game to make contact and to get answers. However, finally got a manager who reported that he found that the microwave had still not been shipped to my store in Village West Kansas City, Kansas. Now to make matters worse I received a call from the returns department at Neb Furn. Mt, about a half an hour after talking to the manager, indicating that I was overdue in returning my unit (The Third One.....). I called the Omaha office again and they stated that I would not get a repeat call on returning the defective unit. I am also told, after making waiting for 12 days] that they wold try to speed up the delivery of the item to my city. I have not check again to see if this was carried out, probably due to the need to not go through spending more time on the phone...... I was astounded to get a later call back from Neb. Furn. Mart, that day, that they had to rewrite my entire order again in order to be able to ship this microwave. I WILL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT. I would highly recommend that this company give their employees in customer service basic peoples skills training, let alone customer service skills. Perhaps an I. Q test would not hurt as well.

I would highly recommend that this company give their employees in customer service basic peoples skills training, let alone customer service skills. Perhaps an I. Q test would not hurt as well.
