Description of Work: We purchased a 47 inch LG flat screen TV, an LG Blueray player and and LG Sound Bar System. In addition, we purchased delivery and installation of the TV, Blueray and sound bar. The salesman told us that this model TV would have two remotes--a traditional remote and a mouse-like (magic) remote. He also told us that by purchasing all LG products, the remotes would be compatible so that only one would be needed to control all three devices. He also said that he was setting up the delivery for the same day as the installation so that we would only have to be home one day instead of two. It turned out that the salesman was both ignorant of the products he sold and that he didn't know how to schedule the delivery properly. | |The first problem occurred the morning of the scheduled delivery/installation. Nebraska called us to remind us of the delivery. I asked about the installation that day and they said it had not been scheduled--the salesman had not completed their internal paperwork correctly. Therefore, the installation would have to be the following week. I asked if they could postpone delivery until then but they said "no", the items were already loaded on the truck and could not be removed. So I took off work for the delivery. | |The following week I took off work for the installation. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable. When the TV was unpacked, it only had one remote, not the two promised by the salesman. The installer confirmed that this model only comes with one remote. Next they installed the sound bar and Blueray. They informed us that the remotes are not compatible. Therefore, it takes a minimum of two remotes to operate just the TV and 3 remotes to operate the Blueray. The installers said that if we had purchased a different model of soundbar, we would have been able to operate the TV with just one remote. We have found this set-up very cumberson. The installers were very good explaining how to operate the equipment and they did answered all of my questions. | |To sum up, the salesman was not as knowledgeable as he pretended to be. I would never, ever shop there again for electronic equipment. The salesman steered us to buying the wrong model of equipment and his incompetence caused me to lose two days of work rather than just one. I would consider shopping there for furniture because that is a product that is less technical.

Description of Work: This was to swap out a new dishwasher that when delivered had some scratches on the front of it. They did a great job and the swap was initiate and agreed to, and completed with no hassles. The only problem was that the returned dishwasher was not noted by the delivery and installation team, so it was lost for a short while and my account was not credited. This was remedied with a phone call and they also credited the late fee that had been charged. Customer Service and delivery service are both excellent.

Description of Work: We needed carpeting for the entire house. We got bids from three organizations. NFM was in the mix from the beginning but their installation costs were a little higher. They ran a promotion that reduced those costs by 50%. The entire process was very straightforward. They ordered the carpet and installed it on the days scheduled. The installation team was great. They showed up early and stayed late the first day to ensure completion of the job on time. They cleaned up all the mess and even set up the bed in the master for us. We would use NFM and this installation crew again!!

Description of Work: After we paid for carpet they didn't seem to care about any other aspect of their service, installation, picking up from warehouse, making sure we got the correct items.

Description of Work: We went to the store and asked to set up an appointment. They brought out samples of greanite for the counter tops. We took a few days to make our choice and took the samples back to the store. They asked us to go and inspect the large slab for the countertops. We said it was good to go. In a week they came out and measured to make sure the fit was correct and they were there in 10 days and we had new countertops. Love them- they put in a new stainless steel sink, and our new stove top, We had another guy they recommended put in our new drop in oven and built it in. Wonderful job. We would definitely use them again. The cost was the lowest and the service was excellent.

Description of Work: They installed a stove and microwave. They were punctual yet they called when they arrived at the house rather than the one hour notice as was discussed. the work was done professionally and quickly with no issues.

Description of Work: 1. Salesman on floor was disinterested in us a customers. When trying out beds for comfort they rushed us and wanted to know if we were going to make a decision. As we were pressured we made a wrong decision and and bought a bed that was too firm. Then they changed the delivery time. When we found the new bed hurt our back we called them within 72 hours and advised we needed to chose a different bed. Salesman said they wouldn't allow an exchange because we didn't buy their mattress cover. They were advised we already had an excellant mattress cover that was used and the bed was not damaged or stained. We only used it twice. We talked to the sales manager and he was not polite and said "too bad" , were are stuck with it.
