Not what I was expecting. I was expecting a landscape architectual design plan.

It went really well. I really liked him and he did a great job. I hired him on to do some work for me. He worked with my schedule, called me back, and gave me a bid right away. I had him plant a big tree, took 1 tree out and replaced it and planted some bushes and other landscaping materials. I had contacted other landscapers and he was the only one that got back to me and got back to me ASAP.

He has done a bang up job for us. He's got a great eye. Very professional. Not the cheapest in town but well worth it.

Plan was good. Needs a few changes but, overall good advice.

Excellent from the first email through job completion. Professional, thorough, honest, fair priced. Tom is an excellent communicator, he follows up as promised, and has a crew that believes in customer service. He earns every "A" he receives.

Everything went well. The crew was punctual and well skilled. Started and finished the work on time.

It was a good experience. He was really good about coming out quickly and got us a quote within couple of days. We decided just not to go with them because they are more expensive compared to what we had quoted before. The guy is very respectful, very nice to work with him in terms of punctuality and all that stuff. I would consider using them if they are within reasonable cost.

We were very impressed with Gabe from Green Expectations. He provided top notch customer service from design consultation through the final walk through. The computer generated landscape design plan was beautiful (stunning according to our HOA achitectural approval commitee). My husband and I had essentially zero landscaping for our home built in 2005. We also had some drainage issues that we needed addressed (mainly ensuring that water drained away from our home as we live at the bottom of a hill). We were only able to complete 2/3 of the proposed design due to cost and plan to complete the final 1/3 next year. The landscaping is beautiful and definitely improved our curb appeal 10 fold, and we are anxious to have the project completed. The drainage issue hasn't been tested simply because we've had so little rainfall since July. Gabe did come in over budget, but warned us this could happen due to having to re-work our existing sprinkler system to fit the needs of our new landscaping and proposed additional landscaping for next year. Gabe's team was professional, timely, and kept a clean work area. They all did a tremendous job.

Had difficulty scheduling initial meeting due to weather but that was understandable. Spent about an hour touring my yard and waited to hear re recommendations and plan. And never heard from him again. About a week after we met, I notified him via email that I would be out of town for a week and would followup with him when I returned. Then I followed up with phone calls that were never returned. At least four weeks wasted on this, which has had a domino effect on the exterior work needed to be completed this summer. Like previous commenter, I can only assume that the work I needed to have done just wasn't enough money. Not interested in the job? Fine. Not returning my calls or replying to email to inform me he wasn't interested in the work? Unprofessional.

The most recent work is yet to be completed but we know it will be done professionally and timely, We have used this company on two other occasions, both times bigger jobs, and were completely satisfied. They have always exceeded our expectations. On this current job we made changes numerous times and they were patient and gladly updated the quote along with making good recommendations.

The gentleman that I worked with from that company seemed to have knowledge about water movement and drainage, and a big part of my landscaping needs to continue to get water away from the house so whatever we do, we always had to look at the integrity of the house. I'm really happy with them.

The planning was easy, Gabe quickly understood what we were trying to do and developed a cost effective and beautiful design solution. Coordination was easy and open and changes were fair and easily integrated into our plan. The actual hardscaping was amazing. The work area was clean every day, the work was completely quietly and extremely competently. I would have this crew over any time. They were fantastic and I'm so pleased with the results.

They were fantastic. The workers were very cordial. They were never messy, they kept things contained. It was a three week project. I cannot think anything negative about them. They would definitely be somebody to work with. I would use them in the future.

Went very well overall. We have since had him (Gabe Chapin) from Green expectations add a few more things. We will continue to use him in the future. He has excellent communication. You can expect a return call from him the same day. His team is professional as well. He stands by his product and for example, we had several bushes and tress not survive the summer heat so he replaced them. All our neighbors have complimented us on our backyard (where Gabe did his work) and we have to say it looks amazing!

It went well and I plan on using them next year as I continue this project. The price seemed reasonable.

I contacted Green Expectations for a home landscaping project to address a surface drainage issue. The project will require construction of a retaining wall, adding fill dirt, grading and a french drain. However, they informed me that they do not do business in my area (Lansing), so, I was not able to use their services.

They were very nice. However, I wanted the work done a little cheaper and therefore, did it on my own. They had quoted me $275. They were very good and professional. I think they would?ve done a great job. I will use them again in the future.

The project went very well from start to finish. Plywood was used to protect the grass from heavy loads and the crew removed it each night. The total project took a 3 1/2 days and we are very pleased with the result.

I haven't done the job yet. I think I have found somebody else to do it, but he hasn't come yet. He was fine and I wasn't in any hurry. He was very nice and I told him that I was going to postpone doing the work and he didn't have any problem with it at all. I'm not sure if what I need done is in their expertise field. I've had good luck with Green Expectations in the past. They do my sprinkler service and I?ve found them reasonable.

The job was extensive and involved the coordination of similar work with our next door neighbor. Tom Bunker's professionalism kept everything running smoothly. We knew the stacked limestone would be a huge improvement from our failing railroad ties, but we had no idea it would turn out this beautifully. In addition to the two retaining walls, Green Expectations installed a new flagstone patio that looks amazing! His hardworking crew placed the stones strategically to give it balance throughout. They consistently exceed our expectations!!! A+

George Chapin, the owner, gave a us a one-year warranty, in case anything he planted doesn't turn out they way we want it to. He did a very good computer drafted layout of his plans for our landscaping project. The fact he does it all on the computer so his measurements are just right, is one of the reasons why I hired him.

I set up an appointment with Green Expectations to visit my house and provide an estimate. Three minutes prior to my appointment I received a phone call from them indicating that they were not going to do cost estimates right now and that they were going to cancel my appointment indefinitely. They could have contacted me days before to let me now that they were not going to show - instead, I wasted an hour and a half of my productivity at work to attend a meeting Green Expectations never intended to attend. I thought their handling of the situation was incredibly unprofessional leading me to believe that the service they provide can be characterized as the same.

The company absolutely exceeded our expectations. The design they submitted was really great. The crew was very pleasant and they were extremely careful about clean up and protecting our existing yard (as well as our neighbor's). The company did what they promised in a timely fashion and completed our project within the time promised--even though we had rain a couple of days. I felt that we got a tremendous value for our money. I wouldn't hesistate for minute to recommend this company.
