I was very pleased. The price was below what I was expecting. They are very professional. They were within two hours of when I called and on both times they were 10-15 minutes earlier then they receptionist of the company had giving me.

Service was fast and efficient. No more gurgling!

Arron did an excellent job of leading the team to inspect the line, provide a good bid on the work needed and actually doing the work of replacing the line. I had other plumbers out who have TV ads and there work was totally unprofessional and through. A-1 really knows what they are doing and are professional I would recommend them to anyone who needs sewer work.

They did real good. He was just the nicest guy. He was on time. He emptied it. He was very nice and did a good job. I have used them over the years. I have to have the septic emptied every four years. I have used them about 3 times over a 12 years period. I would recommend them. I had questions when he was here and he was very responsive. My husband had to dig to find where the cap was. We dug up a whole big part of our yard which we didn't have to do. He told us how to get a cap to make it labelled so that we could always identify it. He inspected it, he looked down there and was concerned if it was getting older or if it had any cracks and he thought it looked very good.

Phoned 4:00 pm Friday, arrived in one hour. Line cleared in five minutes, 25 minutes including clean up and paperwork. Joel was courteous and professional. We will definitely use them again.

I noticed that I had water flowing up from a floor drain in the basement. I then contacted my normal plumber and they suggested that the problem was probably outside the house and indicated they wouldn't be able to help. I was given the number for A-1 as a recommendation. When called, A-1 answered on a weekend and had someone out later that day. While working we couldn't find the main clean out and so the plumber ran his augur through the floor drain. He wasn't able to get past some sort of blockage. As a result he recommended that a scope be run down the line to check things out. That service was scheduled for the next day. Upon arrival the folks to run the scope were able to locate the clean out under a bunch of junk. They then proceeded to augur the pipes and remove some tree roots that were causing the issue. In addition to fixing the problem they didn't charge for the second call. All three plumbers were courteous and I appreciate the fact that I was only charged for the first call. I also recognize that A-1 probably only broke even on this service call, but I will certainly be using them in the future.

The company quoted the price over the phone so I wasn't surprised when the service man arrived. The service man was prompt, friendly and very professional. He went over the pricing and made I understood what he was going to do and how much it would cost. After the summary of his services, he set up his equipment and went right to work. After cleaning out the drain, he cleaned up the mess that had been made. I highly recommend this company.

They had advertised that they would do a sewer cleaning with up to 2 hours of labor for $129. When he got here, the technician told me that he was going to need another guy to come out and help him get the maching down the stairs, and that this would bring my total up to $400. Cody, the technician, was very nice and apologetic about the costs. I went ahead and had him do the work, as I had to get it done, and felt like I was over a barrel. It took just one of them 45 minutes to do the job, while the other guy watched. I called the owner the next day to inquire about the costs, and he was belligerent with me. He yelled, and told me that that was just how much it costed, and that if I even tried to post a negative review for him on Angie's List, that it would be taken down immediately because I had agreed to the cost. Angie's List assured me that I was still able to post my feedback.

I had a backed up sewer for the first time in my life. Quite gross! I called at 7:30 am. Receptionist was professional and said someone would call in the next 3 hours to come by. He called about 10:45, was at my house before 11;00 and finished before noon. The plumber was very nice, relaxed, cool. He sent out a large snake and cut some roots from my line. $134. Which seems a reasonable price. He didn't tell me about additional recommended services (aka - manipulating me into additional services.) I'm a single mom and I worry that predatorial repair guys will take advantage of me. Not this time. I'm very happy with this company.

Very prompt and professional service. The service man was pleasant, which is a huge plus for us when dealing with anyone who enters our home to do a repair. The price was upfront and reasonable. All in all, very pleased and would recommend A1 without hesitation!

Sent out 1 man who got his equipment stuck in the line. He then left. He told us it was stuck at 25 feet which would put it outside the building basement. He told us the pipe was broken & that was why he got stuck. The main office told us that it was our fault that he got stuck because the pipe was old. We have a video of the line which was made 1 yr. before and there were no breaks in the line at that time. fWe asked him to run a camera down to see if the pipe was actually broken and where it was stuck. He refused to do that. We asked for a proposal to fix the supposedly broken line. The company did not send a proposal until 12/18/2014. We have 11 families that live in our apartment building. They were left without water or sewer when A-1 left the building. First we rented equipment to dig up the line where A-1 said it was broken. The line was not broken nor was their equipment there. We hired another company to put a camera down the line. The problem was a root ball that A-1 tried to pull from a 6" line into a 4' line and it was located 12 feet from the inlet not 25. The new company was able to water jet the clog back into the larger line and clear it to the main. Our tenants were without sewer & water for 3 days because of A-1's mess. During all this, A-1 kept calling asking for money. We now have 2 invoices from them for $400 each. We still have their equipment. They have not asked for it as of this date. Do not use these people. They are incompetent. f

Arrived within hours (although we did not get a call first and I'm not complaining just mentioning for people who might NEED that call) ... Did a couple of tests of our drains to diagnose the problem (toilet overflowing) .... Brought in a HUGE snake (100 ft) ..... used several blades ..... cut and dragged out a gigantic wad/tangle of roots .... OMG. What a job! Reset the toilet in a couple of seconds ... And he cleaned up nicely afterwards!! He was professional, focused and fair in the charges***. The bill was clearly itemized with his arrival time and the job completion time. The terms of the charges were spelled out. and the bill included a detailed description of his work -- which blades he used and why among other things. Would I use A-1 Sewer & Septic, YES. In fact, we asked to be put on an annual schedule for maintenance of that line. *** Their receptionist told me that they have the same rates 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. No overtime!!

They were excellent and It was a fair price. They fixed the problem really fast and they were polite. They cleaned up after themselves. The price was less than I thought it would be for that kind of work. I'm very satisfied with them and I put magnet on the fridge for their number if in case I would use them again. It was an emergency because my husband is in the hospital and they came within an hour. They also identified some other problems. They were right on spot and their diagnostics was really good.

One of the national brands made 3 service calls, charged several hundred dollars, didn't resolve the issue and wanted to start digging up my basement floor with an estimated minimum repair cost of $2,500. A-1 resolved the issue in one simple service call for less than $150, plus their guy noticed and advised me of an unrelated problem that would have been expensive to repair later but was an easy fix now. Extremely satisfied with this company and highly recommend.

Contacted A-1 after another company came and attempted to fix my problem, but failed to do so. Called them Saturday morning about 930 and the tech was there by 1100. Pretty good response time (my issue was not an emergency). My downstairs toilet was bubbling when the upstairs toilet was flushed. The tech asked some questions and diagnosed the problem as a clogged main line. He then augured the main line, which was very blocked (been in the house 30 years and don't think it had ever been done). Took him a little over an hour total. He was very nice and made sure to not make a mess (these situations can be extremely messy). Considering what other plumbing companies charge, I thought this company was very reasonably priced for the amount of work. I will definitely be using these guys again when I have a plumbing issue.

They did a good job, and were very courteous. They did an excellent job, and fairly quickly. I would recommend their price for the service, their quick response, and quick repair. They gave us a discount because we allowed them to put their sticker on one of the cabinets.

He came to my house without a tarp or protection for the rest of my home. He took a hammer and beat a hole in the wall. He said he didnt have a saw. He caused stressed lines to go across my ceiling and the wall. He dropped all the stuff onto my wood floor and scratched it. He put material and used wrong fittings. It was a disaster. He was going to go into my bathrooms and beat the tile out of there with his hammer and at that point I stopped him. I had to pay someone to finish the job. I wrote to the owner asking for someone to come out and inspect the work but didn't hear back for 30 days. Finally a manager called and said he would come take a look. Instead of coming out and correcting their mistake they wrote a letter saying I owed them more money. They do not stand behind their work and must have some uneducated people working for them to make such a huge mistake.

A1 is always promt, professional, and does a great job.

We woke up to the problem and called first thing in the morning and Joel arrived within a couple of hours. We showed him to the blocked drain and main water shutoff and just left him as we also had a contractor here for an estimate on some other work. It took about an hour and afterwards Joel completely explained everything he'd done and what caused the blockage. There wasn't much standing water but the carpet wicked dirty water through half the basement. He managed to get his equipment in and out without tracking anything around the house and recommended a cleanup company with whom we were very happy. I can't find the receipt, so I'm not sure on the price, but the contractor who was here at the time and several friends we spoke to all said it was at least $50 less than they have seen for the same work.

Took them only a few minutes. I bought a coupon from Angie's list that morning that should have been applied to the bill, but it did not, so I ended up paying much more than I should have. I advised Angie's list of this but didn't hear from them.

Estimate provided one day with repair completed the following day. Estimate was on target with repair cost and in same time as estimated. Professional and friendly technician. They provided us with a 30 minute notice of arrival. We will definitely call A-1 Sewer & Septic Service for any future needs.

I called at 8:30. He arrived about 30 minutes later and was done about thirty minutes later. All went well. I had used them last year and was pleased with their service at that time.

|They guy that came this time was so good and explained everything he was |doing, very customer service savvy. I am really pleased so I have put them on a year follow up.

I called in the morning and they came out early that afternoon to unclog our drain that was plugged up due to our garbage disposal not working properly. Prior to the technicans arrival, I received a call from their office letting me know his name and that he was on the way. Many providers tell you they will do this but you don't often receive that call. The technican was both polite and professional and had the drain unclogged in no time. I would definitely use A-1 again and will refer others to them as well.

The technician had to force through some incredibly thick gunk to defeat the clog, but he worked diligently until the job was done. I was highly impressed with his professionalism and would likely call on the company again to resolve any future plumbing issues we might have.
