They are very responsive and make every effort to come out quickly. Isaac (Izzy) is very professional and friendly and does a very thorough job. She cleans up after the job very well too! Since I have to do this about once a year in my home, I will definitely be requesting Izzy every time. A-1 is not overpriced like the catchy commercial company you hear about :-)

David was a gentleman and worked hard to solve the plumbing problem that another plumber had advised I get a whole new bathroom and change the toilet location which made NO sense. David was calm and courteous even though I was the last on his list. I will be calling A-1 for all my plumbing needs. (I have 3 houses)

This is the first home I've owned with a sewer grinder pump and the alarm went off. I called A-1 and they sent Brian out within a few hours to assess the problem. He made some immediate recommendations and said he'd be back out the next morning to get a full estimate. True to his word, Brian came back out the next morning wtih John on a pump truck to eliminate the immediate problem and see what further could be done. Unfortunately, my grinder pump had completely stopped working. Fortunately, Brian was able to come out with help from Joe and they replaced it. I was impressed that Brian kept me informed each step of the way. He explained why he was doing what he was and how it would help. Though I don't know much about plumbing, I could tell from the before and after that not only did I get a new pump, but a much better one with an improved set-up as well.

A-1 Sewer responded to my call for service within hours. Delvaun was professional, friendly, and efficient. I will certainly keep them in mind for future needs.

I had a floor drain that was completely blocked and two sink drains that were slow. I filled out an online request for service on a Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday someone called to ask if they could send someone over right away. The young man was pleasant and he got the job done. All 3 drains are running. However, I would try another company next time. I have never before had a plumbing company not put down any protective material to keep the area clean. Fortunately, I had removed all towels, etc., from the bathroom vanities. I didn't mind cleaning the floors, but I spent two hours cleaning up one of the vanities. The plastic shelf liners were beyond salvation and had to be replaced, and the interior of the cabinet was splattered everywhere with that black slime that builds up in pipes. Also, I think I could find a better price than the approximately $350 I paid (after discount) for this one-hour job.

They got out quickly as our sewer was backed up. Did the work in a reasonable amount of time not only fixing the problem, but leaving one of the drains more accessible the next time we need this type of service. Zachary handled 2 plugs, cleared out both. He also explained how it worked which was very helpful.

A1 was a very professional experience from the moment we called in to when the service was completed. Dalvaun was on time, very courteous, knowledgeable, professional and got the job done quickly, correctly and Cleaned up after himself. Would definitely recommend A1!!

My repairman, Shane, was professional and efficient. After he had finished the task for which he had been called, he looked at another problem I'm having and explained what would be needed to fix it. He even took some photos to go into my history so the next repairman would have a heads up.

Poor service, quality and customer service. I called A-1 to clean out my main drain line. I informed A-1 that I had already had my plumber try to clean out 100ft, so I would need them to be prepared to go out further than that for the cleaning. The technician arrived and informed me that his inspection line was damaged from a previous job and would not be able to complete the job. He told me he would have to have someone else come out the following day. He informed me that the second visit would be included in the price I already paid for the first visit as it wasn’t my fault his line had broken prior to his arrival. The technician came out the following day and still wasn’t able to complete the job. I had to leave before they were done on day 2 and found out they had a left a complete mess and did not clean up after themselves. The photos attached show what their technician left behind. To top it all off, I was charged for TWO service calls (after they had promised I wouldn’t be charged for their mistake). When I talked with customer service to explain they said they would not refund me and could only offer me a free service in the future. I will not be using them again. They have been unprofessional to work with, did not honor their word on pricing and I would not ever recommend them.

The visit was quick and smooth, no trouble was found following the drain camera and the technician was very knowledgeable.

This company operated a dig site on my neighbors property that cut my sewer line off of the main. When I told A1 of the problem they sent 2 people to the site and said they hadn’t seen a connection but shook my hand and said they’d be back in the morning to repair it. A1 did not show up as promised. I called them and I was told they weren’t coming out unless I paid them to fix there mistake otherwise I could go have s** with myself.

The Tech showed up and sat in his van for 15 minutes before coming inside. We showed him the cleanout. He spent 15 minutes with a line auger in the main line, then packed up his auger and came inside to collect money. He never tested the line by flushing toilets or running water. He said the pipe had moved. that was the only thing he said. We thought he cleared the obstruction but he did not. We continued to have problems with drainage after he left. We called them the next day to request another tech come out and they wanted to charge us again for something the should of done the first time. These people have no Integrity and are dishonest. Do not use these people. They will rip you off!!

**DO NOT USE A1 SEPTIC AND SEWER - THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY INSURED AND WILL RUIN YOUR HOME WITH NOT A CARE AND NO RESPONSE!!** see pictures as well. I had a drain clog and called A1 Sewer and Septic to come unclog they drain. They sent 2 different plumbers to snake the drain and could not get my drain unclogged. They recommended that I jet my sewer lines and said I had no other options for triple the original amount. When they came out to jet my sewer lines their plumbers did not put on booties or put down drop cloths. The 2 plumbers then decided to chisel out my custom concrete without my permission to what they believed was a different access point. They then proceeded to leak stage 3 sewage into my basement around 2 or 3 inches deep. One of the plumbers came running upstairs to ask to use my wet vac and trenched stage 3 sewage up and down my stairs. Instead of moving all of the personal property in the basement next to where they were working, they left everything to sit and soak in this nasty sewage that smelled horrible and ruined everything. The picture without the plumbers standing in the sewage is how they left my home - covered in sewage with my wet vac plugged into the wall in pieces sitting in filth. I also noticed that one of the plumbers had taken my wet vac full of level 3 sewage and dumped it on my lawn in front of where their van was parked (see attached picture). The owner John has still not been in contact with me since this happened on August 29th and the remediation crew that came and removed my trim, drywall, carpet in my basement, carpet in my stairwell, and the black mold has still not been paid by A1 Sewer and Septic either. The remediation company put me in to I with A1’s “insurance” company and I spoke with a rep at Nationwide that said A1 Sewer and Septic does not have sewage coverage on their policy and are denying the claim (see attached picture of the denial letter). This is a SEWAGE company without sewage coverage!! Because of this we are going to have to take A1 to court to get our home fixed since the owners will not take responsibility for their mistakes and actions. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT INSURED PROPERLY AND THEY WILL RUIN YOUR HOME AND BELONGINGS WITHOUT A CARE. THEIR PLUMBERS ARE INCREDIBLY INEXPERIENCED AND WILL MAKE YOUR PROBLEM WORSE!!

Adrian arrived on time and was quickly to work cleaning the line. He was professional and pleasant and completed the work fast. I will definitely be calling A1 again if the need should arise.

Technician arrived on time, very pleasant and professional. After clearing the drain, he explained future preventive measures to take, what chemicals that are not recommended to self clear a drain and the reasons why.

Impeccably. The scheduler was cheerful and found a place in the schedule that very day. Chuck, the plumber who did the work, arrived exactly on schedule and had the line cleared in practically no time at all. Like the scheduler, he was also courteous and professional and left the work area pristine. I would highly recommend A-1 as a company and Chuck specifically for any emergency plumbing work.

Person answering company's phone was great. Service was scheduled for next day. Technician came promptly and was polite. Advised that the kitchen faucet was beyond repair, and I allowed him to replace it along with stops, and basket strainer. No more drips or leaks! Cost was higher than expected, but I hadn't priced faucets lately, and it took quite a bit of work for him to remove the old one (30+ years old). He cleaned up sink area afterwards but used my dishcloth to do so. As to the "waterfall in the wall" he correctly diagnosed this as a combination roofing and HVAC problem, not a plumbing one. (He had to go in a hot, cobwebby attic to investigate.) I appreciated knowing how to proceed for that situation.

I had a solid obstruction that required their jetter service. Chuck the tech was great and in a little under an hour it was all taken care of. Would highly recommend.

I have had these guys out 4 times over the years and they have always been first rate. Each person was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will use them again.
