The technician was friendly on time and very helpful. he was very careful with the truck on our property and was in and out in about an hour. Very pleased with the service and we'll use them again.

It went very well and resolved our issue. Took only 20 minutes. Chuck was very professional and courteous.

Justin was prompt and quickly figured out the problem. Initially it would have taken only 30 minutes but with the addition of the main line clean out it took about 60 minutes total.

I called at 9am, they gave me a 4pm appt. at my house in Shawnee. The techs name was Charles- he came right in, got to work and completed the job within an hour. He was professional courteous and friendly.

When I called the tech was there within 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and professional and had the work done in under an hour. He left no mess behind. It's also nice that if the work requires longer than an hour, A-1 will break the extra time into 15 minute increments rather than just saddle you with an extra hour. Strongly recommend if you have plumbing issues!

Justin came out and finished it in no time. He is a real gem and I appreciated his knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile. I would definitely hire him again.

In the process, the 1st plumber's machine broke down in my basement and he couldn't get it working. In fact, he ended up at my home most of the afternoon trying to get the machine to work and ended up calling a 2nd employee/plumber to come and bring another machine to do the job. The 2nd plumber said the 1st plumber didn't need to move the utility sink/faucet at all, confirming my suspicion. They finished the requested main line work successfully with the 2nd machine. They reattached my utility sink/faucet and I paid them for the main line work and they left (finally). However, during that evening & next morning I noticed that there was water on the floor under the sink, so the sink was now leaking. Upon calling A-1 that next day they sent out a 3rd plumber who reattached the sink after he'd determined that the pipes were not put together properly. The 3rd plumber successfully stopped the pipes from leaking. At that time, talking with him, I noticed the faucet is now dripping steadily. When I brought it to his attention he said, "the stems are broken and it will need to be replaced". All I knew was that nothing had been leaking, dripping or broken with that sink/faucet prior to their arrival to work on my main line....(completely separate fixture, I never asked them to touch the sink/faucet). The 3rd plumber said he wouldn't be able to replace the faucet since it 'was old already'.I was not pleased with him when he left & I let him know that I thought A-1 should fix what they broke. I didn't have to pay a charge for the follow-up visit by the 3rd plumber. Several days later, after this was still unsettling to me, I finally called their service manager to talk about this. He insisted on coming to my house again! (another appointment) in order to 'look at it'. He also said he would talk to the plumbers who had worked in my home in the meantime. So, I met him at my home and he made me relay the entire story again. He didn't do more than visually 'look at it'. He said, "I am not buying that our technician broke your faucet simply by reattaching it and testing it". I told him I didn't know what your technician did to it, I just know it was working fine before and now it is not and it should have never even been touched by your 'technicians' in the first place. This really upset me that their company would not take responsibility for this. Then he offered to pay for the new faucet if I paid for the labor! Can you imagine? I pay $100 for the labor while they pay $20-$30 for a new faucet. That absolutely did not work for me and by now I am really getting frustrated. He left and as he did I made sure he heard me say I was going to complain to Angie's List and that he'd be sorry.
