Excellent! Allan was courteous, friendly and explained everything. He gave some good advice on maintaining the septic system.

Charles diagnosed that the basement drain itself was clogged with a lot of dirt. He cleared the drain and determined that the line to the main sewer line was clear. He was prompt, efficient, and very professional.

I have used 3 drain cleaning companies in the past year and A-1 and Spencer were by far the best. I will definitely use A-1 again. I will also say that the lady I talked to in the office was great. Very pleasant, took care of my problem right away and was very courteous in her dealings with me.

The tech Ferrin( I think that was his name) was prompt, courteous, easy to get along with, and very diligent. The line was stopped up with kitchen sludge from many years. He ran his machine many times to work it out, It was messy but he cleaned up ver well. We were very happy with his work and the end result.

I have used A-1 Plumbing for years. As usual, they were prompt, polite, and the plumbing issues were fixed quickly and expertly.

The office was good in calling to let me know the tech was was on his way and he was there in the time given, Spencer, the tech, arrived, discussed the problem with me, and promptly went to work. He found some roots in the sewer in front of the house, and was able to clear them fairly fast. (He estimated the roots were 55 feet from the cleanout on the stack in the utility room.) We tested the line with a hose down the drain plus flushing the toilets at the same time. We could see my line flow into the sewer when he was done. He cleaned up the site and was on his way.

Plumber arrived within time window given, took care to avoid staining carpeted stairs, worked quickly to open drain. Price was as quoted plus the cost of a replacement cap on main drain.

Great work, showed up on time and was able to complete work at same time.

Cannot recommend this company enough!! After moving into our first home last week, we came home from Easter Sunday church service to find a kitchen sink/sewer back up. We called A-1 after a great recommendation from our neighbor (whom has used A-1 for years at all of his rental properties). From the get go, they were so helpful. Chuck was here within an hour and he was extremely professional and knowledgable. He was also happy & kind, which goes a long way. Chuck did a fabulous job and our problem was completely resolved. Very well. These guys always get the job done right. I've had other outfits who advertise a low price for this service tell me they just can't get the job done because they use a small toilet snake with a small blade and then tell you they need to scope the line with a camera to show the need for a full line replacement Immediately. After this BS I called A1 and they got through as they always have in the past. With a combo of A1 and RootX, I've managed to keep my lines open every year. I highly reccommend these guys.

James arrived on-time and fixed the problem right away. He was courteous, professional and even explained how I could reset the pilot light if/when it went out again.

I called at 9:30 on a Sunday morning and was told I would be contacted by a technician in 2-3 hours. After waiting more than 3 hours I called again and was told it might be another 2-3 hours. After waiting 4 more hours I called and was told they had no way of knowing if they would make it out today at all. I would have set up an appointment for tomorrow if I had known this morning that they might not make it out. I wasted a day sitting at home when I needed to be out running other errands. And the person I talked to the first two times was rude from the first words out of her mouth. Maybe she needs to be in a job that does not involve talking to the public.

Excellent. Tim (supervisor) showed up and scoped out the issue. Brought in a snake for the drain and within 10 mins he was finished and the problem solved. Simple problem fixed (as long as you have a long enough snake) very quickly.
