Our house is a 1960s ranch-style home and most of the plumbing is original - mainly American Standard. Leaks had gradually been developing in two of our showers and more recently it had become difficult to turn turn the cold water on or off in one of them. I phoned Masterplumb (contact: Dale Cook) on June 27th, left a message, and was able to catch up with Dale on July 2nd. We fixed a time for the next day, and Dale was able to get there earlier than expected. He diagnosed the problems quickly, went out to buy the parts and swapped out the old stems. The hot water was still dripping in one of the repaired showers, and he was able to track this down to hard water deposits in the shower head.This caused water to collect in the shower head and dribble water for a while after the faucet had been shut off, mimicking a leak. Removing some of the hard water deposit fixed this problem. Dale worked quickly and efficiently, explaining things as he went along, and cleaned up tidily after he finished. He also showed me where the inside main shut-off valve was in the crawl space and made a helpful suggestion about how the existing fitting could be improved. We are very happy with the work and grateful for his being able to come so close to the holiday.

This was a half price deal on Angie's list. The first job was a much bigger job than my husband even thought. Good thing we had a professional from the start as my husband would have been calling one. Removing the dispensers that had rusted was not doable for the average guy. Since I had not used up my full price deal. We had him back to remove and replace the instant hot water faucet. Mr. Cook was prompt on both occasions and ready to get to work. He was experienced, efficient and friendly. I purchaed $200 of work for $99 and did have to pay an additional $50 for the extra time used. I will definitly use Masterplum, Inc. again.

A pleasant person to deal with. I regret not getting the drain checked as it is slow and Angie's List advertized a full check of plumbing system for $49, but that may be our fault for not being more specific about the problems we sensed were coming.

Ok, so last night my husband bailed water from drain for 3 hrs due to non-working sump pump and using sprinkler system. Called Dan Cook at Masterplumb this morning. He bought new pump, installed and had work done in three hours. He was courteous, efficient and rates were terrific. We were in a terrific bind, and this guy was above and beyond. The plumber first came and did a walk-through of basement and utility room to get an idea of what he needed for the job. The following week, he came and replaced the stock builder provided sump pump (1 yr warranty) with a more robust cast iron sump pump (3 yr warranty) and a battery backup sump pump. He was courteous and on time. Every detail of the work went as planned. The work was very good. I got what I payed for with no surprises.

We contacted Dale through Angie's list late on Friday night asking for a quote because we had a leaking water heater and no hot water. He emailed us that same night. We called him first thing on Sat. He asked for pictures, which we emailed him. After several questions he told us we would need to replace it. He recommended a water heater, picked it up and had it at our house by 11am. He had the work done by 1:30pm. He brought our system up to code as well and hauled off our old water heater. He was quick, punctual, respectful and explained things clearly. There were no surprise charges and he didn't even charge extra for Saturday service. On top of it the weather was not that great and it was freezing .We would never go with anyone else, we just cannot say enough good things about the service we received from Dale Cook. He does excellent work.

Called me back last night after hours to make sure situation was contained. Came out in early morning on time if not a little early. Very pleasant. Gave written proposal of three options with 20 minutes. Checked on availability of product which company would deliver out to us in afternoon. Dale went and picked up personally to save us time and inconvenience. Had foresight to add large drip pan under hot water heater so family room would not flood again in the future. Gave thorough instructions on settings, and upkeep for future. Cleaned up, even going so far as to spot clean carpet stairs from dolly wheel marks in exchanging new with old heater. Fantastic service and will make future appointments with him for all our plumbing needs. Pam & Bill

He was very professional and knowledgeable he resolved my problem very quickly and the repair was made quickly as well. His mannerism was very polite, he presented himself very professionally. His rates were quite reasonable especially in comparison to some other companies in the area. I discussed with him some future work I needed done, he knew right away how to resolve the situation and gave me a bid at that time. I will absolutely use Dale Cook of Masterplumb. Inc. for all my future plumbing and contract needs, and will indeed recommend him to others. It was a pleasant experience.

It went good, he was actually early and we were very satisfied with the plumbing job that he did. He seemed to know what he was doing. He was quick and neat. It was obvious that he has been doing this a long time. It was a good experience and I would recommend this plumber.

The guy did a fantastic job and would could not be happier with the job. Friendly, professional and expert workmanship. He took care of the all the sub contractor work and finished on time and on budget. I couldn't say anything but fantastic. I would recommend Masterplum to anyone.

He is an angel! He came as soon as I called him with our problem and worked on it for at least 3 hours!
