Description of Work: Drew helped us out with a burst pipe (I submitted a report on that too), and I recommended him to my mother-in-law, who also had a great experience. She isn't very computer-savvy, so she asked me to submit a report for her. Drew reconfigured some plumbing in her kitchen. He is always prompt and on-time, has a great attitude, knows what he's doing, and his prices are very reasonable. We will definitely keep Drew on speed-dial!

Drew gave us a good estimate, was cheerful and professional, and did quality work. The only thing I would have liked was a quicker turnaround time from the estimate to the completion of the work--though bad weather did play a part in the delay.

Description of Work: Drew Has worked on our home for over 10 years. He is capable, trustworthy and completely professional not to mention a very nice guy. We had ice and snow damaged that destroyed a copper roof. The water damage was both inside and outside. He has rebuilt cabinets in the kitchen that were ruined, removing very expensive tile and replacing the base and reapplying the tile and regrouting the counter.and walls. He and his capable associate "Rob" removed all wet wood and the damaged copper roof and rebuilt the roof base and installed a new copper roof that looks amazing. There is much more he has done to make our home run smoothly. (installed two new water heaters,insulated the attic, built cabinets in the laundry room framing in my washer and dryer and etc etc. My husband is not the least bit handy, thank heavens for Drew.

+ -1 moreShowed up Saturday and looked at the bathroom sink drain line, which had come loose when I bumped the sink cabinet. He went to the store, picked up the proper part, and installed it within a half an hour. EXCELLENT JOB. I will replace the sink and cabinet soon and I will call him to do it.

Description of Work: Drew came out on a Sunday (after Christmas) to look at what I thought was a plumbing problem (water dripping from my ceiling), and quickly diagnosed the problem as a roof issue (ice dam). He stayed to make sure the water damage wouldn't spread.

+ 6 moreI had some experience at doing construction when I was in high school and college, so I probably knew a little more about the jobs I was asking Drew to bid on than most. In my opinion, Drew's crew -- Mark, Rob and Bob, and a few others part-time -- are masters at their work. Most jobs require a combination of skills. My direction to Drew was always, "Do it like you'd want it done if it was your own house." My wife and I could not be happier with the way things turned out. Drew may not be the cheapest remodeling specialist in town, but keep in mind you get what you pay for. In my view, he and his guys are worth every penny!
Description of Work: As Drew and his team completed a number of jobs for me, I am unwilling to state an individual price. I will say that there are only two general ways to ask for a bid from a contractor: Ask for a "not to exceed" price for the entire project, and pay for the time and materials it takes to get the job done. In my case I did two jobs with a "not to exceed price", and the others at time/materials. (Keep in mind that any contractor needs to protect himself for the unexpected -- if you insist on a "not to exceed" fixed price, he has got to build in enough cushion to keep the job profitable.) In most cases I prefer a general price against time and materials. The key is to keep talking with your contractor in order the keep the surprises to a minimum! The jobs Drew did for us ranged from sheetrock repair and repainting of a large garage, hooking up our washer and dryer (the house had only a 220 VAC outlet for the dryer, while our dryer heats with natural gas), plumbing our gas grill out on our porch, interior painting of our old house's dining room, several bedrooms and closets, and the like. The largest job was removing a large built-in cabinet (about 4' x 8', from floor to ceiling), replacing the wood flooring, reinforcing the roof structure (the old cabinet enclosed a floor to ceiling supporting beam), repair/repaint dining room and living room walls, etc. This was a big job and Drew and his craftsmen did it perfectly!

+ -1 moreDrew was prompt in coming to look at the work we needed. We informed him that we were on a tight time line and needed the work done promptly. He assured us that completing the work was "no problem" and that he could do it early the next week. He gave us no estimate, however, said he would email us the next day. After not hearing from him for several days we tried to contact him. We received an email saying he was too busy to do the job for us. Unfortunately, this seems very consistent with many of the complaints of other customers. While his work may be good, his professionalism and integrity in following through with what he has agreed to do is lacking.
Description of Work: Drew agreed to do some drywall repair for us. No work was completed because he later said he was too busy to do the job.

The only problem I had was that he said he would mail me the reciept and he never did. But other than that he did an excellent job and I would use him again in the future.

Drew Jameson returned my call in less than ten minutes and made arrangements to stop by that afternoon to take a look at what I needed to have done. He phoned me a 1/2 hr. prior to his arrival so that I could meet him at my house. He actually arrived before I did (I have had long waits for other companies in the past), took a look at what I needed and put me on the schedule for the next morning. He arrived slightly before he promised, did the work quickly and cleaned up afterwards. He made the whole thing very easy and convenient for me and the price was certainly quite reasonable.

I expressed my interest in completing the job as soon as possible and they were able to fit me in within 1 week time. Mark and Bob came out to house to complete the sink work. While in house Mark took a look at the cabinet doors that would need to be shortened to fit the modifications to the cabinet once the new sink was installed. While Bob finished up the plumbing work, Mark went and shortened the cabinets for me which was something that was not initially estimated, but completely necessary. I appreciated their flexibility and the convenience to shorten my cabinets with no notice. I found the price for the add on to be extremely fair. They were great to work with and I would definitely use them again and would be quick to recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I purchased a single bowl stainless steel apron front farmhouse sink that I need to be installed. This included retrofitting the existing cabinet base, building a support for the sink, reconnecting the disposal and all necessary plumbing.

He said no problem and came right over and fixed the plumbing. We didn't see the price until it was all said and done. But we are very happy with the work and the timing.
Description of Work: Called Drew over a holiday weekend, after have a pipe burst to the upstairs bathroom. He showed up within an hour came and capped the pipe, which was also connected to the kitchen plumbing. We were able to use the kitchen for the holiday. He returned within the week to finish the plumbing and install upstairs and downstairs isolation valves. We were very pleased with the work.
