I called to request an estimate. They were timely in their response and provided an estimate for repairs. However, the estimate was not complete since he felt uncomfortable with quoting a portion of the project without clearing the area to see exactly what it would entail. I understood his position and actually appreciated his honesty. I will keep them in mind for future projects.

I feel it's very unprofessional to ignore calls and e-mails.

They worked really hard, and did a really good job. I asked them to grind down the second stump after they got there and the price for that was $45. I was glad to have it all done at once and made all of my yard chores so much easier.

We used this company during the 2005 season with good results, but our 2006 experience couldn't have been worse. We were counting on them to do routine maintenance of our landscaped areas around the driveway and house. I called for an appointment to begin work in early May, and called them back at least three times. Michael set an appointment and did not keep it. I drove past their Zionsville place, and found it gone, so I presumed they went out of business. However, I just joined Angie's List and find they have moved. However, I would definitely not recommend this company. They are not responsive. When they do come out and do work, it is usually OK.

Wonderful, prompt, and nice quality firewood. Very pleasant on the phone.

We needed two trees trimmed. Michael's did not return our 2 calls.

I requested an estimate for tree service over one month ago. Followed up after several weeks since they had not responded. Still have not received my requested estimate, nor have they responded to either contact. Very poor service.

I liked them. They did charge $50 for an estimate, which I did not like, but it went toward the bill. They had the simplest solution.

Showed up within 24 hours of call to give an estimate. Very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Gave an estimated date to perform the work, and actually came out and cut down the trees before that date. We plan on using this Company again.

Michael is very easy to work with. He made excellent recommendations for the landscaping and he is very sensitive to price constraints.

There quality of work was very good. However they did not show up for work they day they told me they were coming. I had arranged to meet them at the site so after 4 hours I began calling. Finally after calling they apologized and made another appointment date. They did call before they were to be there the second time and tell me they would be a little late--90 minutes late. They arrived without a climber and one of the workers fumbled in the tree until someone came to give them a hand. They said they have been without their climber since Thursday.

We are very pleased with this company. We used them last year to do some yard work and decided to have them do our spring cleanup. They did a wonderful job. They clean up our beds and put down new mulch, trimmed our bushes, and did general lawn cleanup. I would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

They gave me a flat day rate. I didn't price check this year, but last year when I had them do work, I checked with five different companies. Three of them quoted me about $4000 for two days of work. Michael's was one of two who quoted around $2500. So I would say that they offer very reasonable rates. They are very professional and on time. And I would definitely recommend them.

They provided a speedy estimate of the cost. They were $100 less expensive than another estimate that I was given. They set a mutually acceptable time to do the work; arrived promptly; did the necessary work without damaging the house or nearby planting, and cleaned up well afterwards. I liked them so much that I have made arrangements for them to provide, for a fee, landscape design for the area where the tree was removed.

They did nice work. The tree looks very good. They got the work done quickly and cleaned up the mess. Once we had scheduled the work, however, it took a while for them to get out here and do it.

WORK WAS DONE WELL, AND IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. NO COMPLAINT, VERY HAPPY. WILL HIRE AGAIN.

I CHECKED WITH OTHERS AND THEIRS WAS THE BEST PRICE. THEY REALLY UNDERSTAND TREE TRIMMING AND TREE SERVICE. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PRICE, AND WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. THEY GAVE ME GOOD ADVICE ABOUT TAKING CARE OF MY OTHER TREES.

CLEANED UP VERY WELL, FAST AND EFFICIENT.

EXCELLENT WORK. THEY TRIMMED THE BUSHES IN A WAY THAT KEPT THE OVERGROWTH TO A MINIMUM AND TO STIMULATE GROWTH. VERY PROMPT AND WONDERFUL RESULTS.

MICHAEL'S WAS PROMPT IN PROVIDING AN ESTIMATE, BUT CALLED MANY TIMES TO SEE IF WE HAD MADE A DECISION, MAKING ME FEEL VERY PRESSURED. THEY WERE VERY KIND AND EACH TIME I TOLD THEM I WASN'T READY TO COMMIT TO THE PROJECT THEY WERE POLITE IN THEIR UNDERSTANDING.

MICHAEL RESPONDED RIGHT AWAY AND GAVE US A QUOTE. OF THE FOUR BIDS WE RECEIVED, HIS WAS THE HIGHEST AND THE LEAST DETAILED OF THE PROPOSALS. DUE TO COST, AND THE FACT THAT WE COULD GET THE JOB DONE FOR SIGNIFICANTLY LESS, WE DID NOT HIRE HIM TO DO THE WORK.

I HAVE CALLED MICHAEL'S LANDSCAPE THREE TIMES OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. ONCE I EVEN STOPPED IN. I ASKED TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME ABOUT SOME WORK I WANTED TO HAVE DONE. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL. THEY SEEM TO BE QUITE UNRESPONSIVE.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS OF THE TREE TRIMMING. ALSO, THE CREW CLEANED UP ALL RESIDUE. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM AGAIN.

CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE. I DESCRIBED THE WORK I NEEDED TO HAVE DONE. THEY TOOK MY NAME AND NUMBER AND SAID SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT ME TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK. I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE ELSE FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. PERHAPS MICHAEL'S WAS VERY BUSY AT THIS TIME, BUT IF THEY HAD TOLD ME THAT, I COULD HAVE MOVED ON AND FOUND SOMEONE ELSE SOONER. I'M SURE THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, BUT RESPONSIVENESS IS IMPORTANT, TOO.

UNFORTUNATELY, WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT MICHAEL'S FAILED TO RETURN TWO PHONES CALLS TO COME OUT AND GIVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR THIS WORK. THIS WAS TOTALLY BAFFLING SINCE THEY HAVE RECEIVED ANGIE'S SUPER SERVICE AWARDS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. DECIDED TO USE ANOTHER SUPER SERVICE AWARD COMPANY.
