Sales person was very knowledgable. She was not pushy. She listened to what we wanted to hear and told us just that. She explained the windows and the installation process and pricing without any spin. She told us about apex windows and did not put down other companies like other window companies we talked to did. An installer came and measured all the windows and door to be replaced. We had to wait a couple of weeks to get on installers schedule. Three installers did the whole house in a day and a half. The second day was just trim. Windows and door are gorgeous. A huge improvement from the old ones and so much more energy efficient. No heat or cold comes through the triple pane windows. They block out a lot of noise and we can barely hear traffic or the nearby train. You get what you pay for. We are really happy with these windows and door. They are also more safe/secure than our old windows. We got three windows with rain glass for privacy and they are beautiful. Highly recommend Apex Energy Solutions. We talked to 6 window companies and this was the best all around.

Very good overall. Pleased w/how professional they were and what a good job they did. Very neat and cleaned up at the conclusion of the job. We did have a significant amount of problems when we attempted to use the interest free setup.

They show up on time and do their work quickly. They were very professional. My shrubs were still standing when they left. The windows are guaranteed and they stand behind the guarantee.

They did an excellent job. The windows were of superior quality to others we'd seen.

Jonathan Jeffries performed an amazing presentation and the willingness to work on my schedule was great. Ordering and measurements went well. Installer was unbelievable with his attention to detail and quality of work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND APEX.

Initially I had some difficulty getting a new window ordered in a timely manner which may have been partly my fault which is the only reason I don't give them an A rating across the board. However, I will give them excellent credit for accepting their role in the communication problems and treating me fairly, quickly and professionally. I will definitely use them again.

We contracted with Apex in November of 2013 to install new windows in the entire house. Schedule was that new windows would be made and ready for install just before Christmas. Mother nature had other ideas (heavy rains that week). Rescheduled installation for mid January. Mother nature intervened again (sub zero temps). Rescheduled again for mid Feb. Weather cooperated. Installer Jerry showed up and began the project. Removed and installed 7 of 10 new windows by early afternoon. Finished the exterior sealing and window wrap over the next couple of days. Installed the last windows on Friday am, finished the exterior wrap and windows were finished. Jerry and crew always cleaned up at the end of each day and were always respectful of caring for all interior carpet and furniture. Would highly recommend these guys.

We were treated respectfully. We just did not like the look of the windows -inside or out.

It went well. They did all my siding the first time and there were a couple of places which was our fault where we had added things or whatever and they came and fixed it for us, they put in new sidings in those areas. They are a great company to work with. The work they did was very nice. Price wise I over paid for everything.

They stopped by the house on a cold call. As it happened I had noticed air leakage around several windows the previous winter. The sale rep did a great job in explaining their process and the window product. Another person came out to check measurements which was done in a very good manner. The windows were installed right on schedule and the entire work (23 windows) were put in during the course of one day. The results now that they have been in for a while has been great. I have experienced a substanital increase in the comfort level of the house due to the energy efficiency of the windows along with a great savings in heating and cooling costs. My experience with Apex was a very, very good.

Prompt and punctual. Stuck to their reasonable estimate. Other window suppliers had estimates twice as high for what seemed to be the same windows - I think we would have been paying for the name. Apex Energy solutions installed Allside triple paned window and we have definitely seen an effect on our electric bill for air conditioning and heating in our total electric house. Easy to work wiht and had documentation to back up their claims for energy savings.. I only gave them a B for price because windows are so expensive - although for the quality window they really should get an A. I suspect the much cheaper windows offer less quality and energy efficiency. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

I liked the look of the windows. They came up with some interesting solutions for problems that I was having with the type of windows for the room. It was pricey but well worth it for the energy savings I've had since the windows were put in. They came back about a year ago to check something with one of the windows.

I have used them before and had them back. They are very professional and efficient. They have unbelievably reasonable prices. They have an excellent installation crew.

They did a good job. They gave us an excellent price to install them that we couldn't turn down. It was a promo cost and we signed a waver that we can't disclose and we checked with other window installation companies and it was was cheaper than the ball park. The guys who installed were very professional, they did a good job and they windows installed were good quality windows.

The total operation was excellent from start to finish. From salesman Trevor to office mgr. at Alside (Barbara) to the "Master Installers.....The Master Installers were actually Master Craftsmen. My wife and I were here all day when the work was performed, so we witnessed the work. The Installers (Craftsmen) were James and Matt. They were very skilled in their work, relentless in their work ethic, and meticulous in the clean-up of old windows and debris. Basically, it was superior performance. We are quite happy with our windows and the people involved in getting them installed.

All windows were replaced with triple pane windows. I received several quotes for the job and this was by far the best experience that I had. There was no pressure to buy and the installation went very smoothly. They worked around my schedule and since I needed to go back to teaching school, they came out on a Saturday. I was very impressed that they said that if they weren't able to finish the job that Saturday, they would come back out on Sunday. The installers were great and I will be using them again shortly.

Our home was built in 1925. We had original single pane windows with storms. Apex installed a triple pane composite window. We were nervous about a few things starting out. Our home is a Georgian colonial and the windows had grids. Maintaining the historic look and architecture was very important to my husband and me. We also wanted a window that was going to last. Efficiency was also a priority, mostly because our home got so cold in the winter, and the south and east sides heated up considerably in the summer (We lived in the home over a year before replacing the windows. I wish we had done it sooner). After extensive research (mostly on my husbands part), we decided to go with Apex. I remember being impressed with how knowledgeable and professional the salesman was. We also found it helpful to see their windows installed at their Zionsville office. We could not be more thrilled! Everything they promised was delivered upon. 2 1/2 years later our windows still look brand new (I just cleaned all of them, which was wonderfully easy...also prompted me to write this review). We feel that Apex was able to help design and install their product in such a way that our historic look was maintained. That was probably the biggest shock, was how well their windows integrated with our home and looked like they belonged. As well as how much better they made our home look. Our energy bills have dropped by just over 34%. My husbands office does not heat up in the summer like it used to. And we noticed an immediate difference in the overall comfort of our home in the winter. The installers went above and beyond and were terrific. We had several unique circumstances (changing 2 doors to picture windows, and a few alterations on 2 other windows). They did mis-measure our bathroom window. The installer was very apologetic about flip-flopping the measurements. What amazed me was how fast they were able to resolve the issue. It was just over a week and they were back out replacing that bathroom window. The installers were very courteous. They cleaned up after themselves every day they were here. We were pleased throughout the whole process, and years later are probably even more pleased with how well the Apex windows perform and look.

We were really impressed with them. Their windows did exactly what they said they would do. They were very good. They really did a good job. I have this one bedroom upstairs that has windows like it has these windows all around. In that room like forever always in the summer time, it was just stifling hot, and in the winter, it was freezing cold. My housekeeper walked in that room after we had the windows put in, and it was hot out, she walked in and she said wow. So, it was great. They came in, and they got it done when they said they were going to. So, it was really timely. They did not trash the whole house. They cleaned up after themselves, and they just delivered on all the things they said they would. They were not really the hard-sell type thing. They were just believable with good reason. There was no disappointing part about it.

Lyndsay from Apex was low pressure and nice to deal with. Apex used a very high quality Window. Provided very competitive prices. The installers where professional and the windows where installed very well. Very happy with using Apex.

i have been thinking about replacing the windows in my home. i did not know which window company to use. they all say they are the best. a representative from apex energy solutions came to my door and asked to do a presentation. i thought; what the heck. after listening to the representative, i was very impressed. i had 5 windows in the front of my house replaced along with a patio door. the windows are triple pane and they look wonderful. jerry and tim were very professional. jerry even did a minor repair to my front door so that it closes better. they did a great clean up when they were finished. i intend to have them replace the rest of the windows in the near future. i simply cannot say enough about how happy i am with my new windows.

Apex examined the windows throughout our house and recommended those that needed replacement. The windows were ordered and replaced in the timeframe they said it would take. We are very happy with the quality of the product and the installation. They did more the furniture to put the windows in but did not move it back - that was the only disappointment. Also, the way the windows were installed required us to get some finish work done on the inside and touch up the interior moulding with paint. We are very happy with the product and notice immediately a reduction of noise from the outside. We are looking forward to saving some money on our energy bills as a result of this change as well!

The windows are high quality, energy efficient and have a lifetime warranty. Installation looked good and worked was done when promised. Right now I have some warranty work, so I anxious to see how they respond to the warranty commitment.

A sales person from Apex appeared at my door step to see if we were interested in new windows. A time and date were set up for a different sales person to come and discuss the product. Both representatives were very friendly and professional. At the in-home visit, I was given spiel of how awesome their Alside windows are (saying I would save upwards of 30% off my energy bill) and told an initial "retail" price to have all my windows replaced. Then the paper was flipped over and I was given a promotional price if I decide soon to use them and place a sign in my yard. While I did not shop around for pricing, it appeared that it was competitive for the quality window presented to me. I decided to use Apex but was still uncertain about the style of window I wanted. I was instructed to go to their showroom @ 116th & Michigan to look at samples. I did so, but it is essentially just a house with a couple different styles of windows throughout the exterior of the house. I could not enter the building, as no one was at the property. I decided to go with windows with muntins to give an architectural element to front of the house. I called my salesman and told him of my decision. He explained how it would be extra (which was fine) and to tell the installer who was coming to take final measurements before placing the order (which I did). After more than the 3-4 weeks promised, I received a call that the windows were ready and to set up a time for the installation (which is all handled through Alside). Since I never heard anything more about it, I asked if they did in fact have the grids and was told they did not, so I called the salesman. He claimed it was never clear that's what I wanted, but he could draw up a new contract and get new sashes ordered with the muntins inside and just switch them out. After some discussion, he agreed to eat the cost of the new sashes, and I would just be responsible for the additional charge for the muntins. Against my better judgment, I went ahead and had the windows installed, and about 3 weeks later, they came back out and switched out the sashes. It seemed the installation went smoothly - the installers were nice, but here was little explanation about how the new windows functioned. Initially, I could not close one of the windows, so a representative from Alside came out to adjust the hardware. Once colder weather arrived, it became obvious that the windows were not sealed properly. I could hear whistling from inside my home on windy days. The same Alside employee came back out at my request and determined that one of the window sashes was not fitted properly, so he ordered another one. A few weeks later he came back and installed it himself. I had him go through each window with him and point out broken/untight seals. He modified the factory-made plastic pieces to the cranking/closing mechanism with his utility knife to try to get a tighter fit between the window and the frame. While this has helped with the severe drafts, it has not corrected the problem completely. There is still one upstairs window that continues to produce a whistling sound on windy days. Furthermore, I have not seen ANY reduction in my energy bills whatsoever. Recently, I had another contractor at my home for an unrelated matter who pointed out an improper fit in at least 2 of my 5 new windows (sagging windows, gaps in the weather-stripping, etc.) I will be contacting Apex so have these proplems resolved once and for all. **** After reading my original review, Apex returned to my home to refit/reinstall all 5 windows. The fit is much better, although a couple of the windows still require that they be cranked closed very carefully to ensure that there is a complete seal. At least I don't have to push them from the outside to get them to close completely. I do continue to receive compliments on the appearance of the windows.

Previous estimates for replacing all the windows in our fifteen year old home were not only higher but required removing and replacing interior and exterior trim. Apex has designed a way to remove each window from the outside without damaging the trim. They literally pop in the new window, caulk and finish each very quickly. We're are delighted with results, professional installation and support from the management.

I will give a complete report when the service has been completed.
