We used Apex to replace the windows in our home. They replaced 33 windows in two days. The crew was professional and they cleaned up well. I am happy with the triple pain energy efficient windows we installed. The staff provided prompt feedback to follow up questions. The lifetime warranty (30 year transferable) appears to be superb.

My wife and I researched replacement windows and doors for more than 50 days in the Indianapolis area. We found many prices and many grades of windows and doors. We visited home improvement businesses, big box stores and had sales representatives from well advertised companies in our home. Very well. All was done in a timely manner, they were courteous, friendly, understanding, answered all questions well and the product, the windows are great. Triple paned.

Their door to door sales guy was awesome. Very thorough in explaining construction and quality. I received 3 other bids and Apex was hands down the highest quality and the lowest price. Installers were good and fairly neat for the type of job replacing windows is. What few problems I caught they immediately fixed no questions asked. I highly recommend Apex, as nobody beats their quality!

The experience was great. The sales person was extremely polite and not at all pushy. From measurement to installation everyone we dealt with was extremely professional. We did have one of the windows develop a crack a few weeks after installation. After calling Apex, the issue was quickly resolved and we had a replacement installed within a matter of weeks. Very impressed. They look great and we're extremely satisfied.

First, I must point out the Alside doors and windows have proven to high quality products over the last 10 years. However, I am disappointed in the high price I paid through Apex, the poor quality of the installation (in my opinion), and Apex customer service. First, I have recently discovered that I can get Alside patio doors from other vendors (identical quality) at 1/2 the price I paid to Apex. Second, in 2009 I discovered water damage to the subflooring next to one of the 3 patio doors. It could have been caused by previous water damage or improper patio door installation. Apex believes the former and I the latter. Then in 2017 we discovered carpenter ant problems and water damage next to one of the other patio doors. On removing the sliding patio door (ground floor), we found the bottom foot of the door frame rotted by water damage (picture enclosed). Door un-useable and unable to be reinstalled. Called Apex and Alside. Neither Apex nor Alside would sell me a replacement door. Neither would admit any possibility of improper installation on their behalf. Exterior hole where patio door had been (and could not be replaced) had to be boarded up for 5 weeks in Dec 2017-Jan 2018 in freezing temperatures while I attempted to get a door from another company.

Installation was fast and professional. They only allow installers who are experienced, trained and certified by them to do the work. The install team (3 guys) only needed a day and a half to do the work and the team was excellent. They did leave a bit of mess behind, but overall I was very satisfied. These windows are fantastic. triple panes and very quiet. It was very cold the week after the installation and the draftiness was gone. The beeping and grinding noised as well as the road sounds I used to hear are gone. They also did a great match to the wood inside and the trim outside so that the existing finished all looked great together. Our home is quiet and insulated from the outdoors for the first time we've lived here! Well done! Photo shows the work in process. upstairs window is done, downstairs is awaiting framing.

It went really well, the windows are great, triple paned. Highly energy efficient and sound proof. They work well. Although there was a problem with one window, and they haven't been very good about follow up with that.

Everything went great from sales to install.

They provided a reasonable quote to replace all my windows. They were very professional and timely. Quote was the lowest and I believe their windows were pretty good quality. They spent a lot of time criticizing other manufacturers and I don't think the difference is in the windows per say, but the quality of the install, etc. I chose not to go with a vinyl window, but may have chose them if cost was the most critical aspect. Be careful to understand how the installation process differs from one vendor to the next.

Everything went smoothly--installed on time and with quality work. Windows have lifetime guarantee which we are now going to use for some windows which have lost the seal between panes. So far we have been very pleased with the service, and should have the leaking panes replaced in a few weeks. The Windows made a huge difference in our heating bills and the house is much quieter because of the increased insulation.

The quality of work and quality of the windows is excellent. Installers were prompt, installation was completely done in 2 days with no mess, no hassle. Really impressed with this company, their product and their installers.

Very pushy and unprofessional. Despite multiple requests to leave us alone, the salesman has been by several times to harass our family. Most recently he bothered my wife and children while I was at work. We had to call neighborhood patrol to get him to leave. This is completely unprofessional and I would never do work with this company.

I used this company last year and was so happy with them that I had them replace all the windows in my parents home in Northern Indiana. They had built their home with Pella windows in 1993. Almost all of them had rotted out. Apex replaced all of the windows and didn't even charge extra to replace some rotten patches of wood on the brick mold. Their house looks a million times better. My parents are really surprised with how much money they save on their heating and cooling bills and also how much quieter it is inside the home.

Great! The sales cycle was not high pressure, which was unlike any other window company I encountered. Very educational sales rep with a cool ipad presentation. Best price out of all the other companies I looked at and a much nicer looking window.

The windows on my home were very rotted. I was referred to Apex by my neighbor. When I met with my salesman I knew right away that this was the company I was going to go with. I even cancelled the other appointment I had with a different window company. The price beat the other 2 companies I was quoted by, by far. The price is affordable, especially for the quality of the window and the customer service I received from day dot. The installers were the best. I did have a service from the initial install but it was expedited and completed immediately by Jeff. What a surprise it was. I absolutely love my windows and will refer everyone I know to them. I was reluctant to go with a company I found online but the overall experience from start to finish exceeded my expectations by far. The windows look great on the inside and the outside. Just in the last couple months I have seen a difference in our heating bill. A guy named Jeff Fields really made me confident in my decision to go with Apex. He answered all the questions I had and was very knowledgable on he installation process. The installers were punctual, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. I will gladly recommend Apex.

Salesman was helpful and visited our home two times to help us make our selection. He suggested a color scheme that turned out beautifully. He became somewhat hard to reach after the sale was complete (and another salesperson came to our house trying to sell us windows after we had already paid our deposit). The ordering process took about twice as long as estimated, with no interim contact to update us. However, once the windows were ready to be installed, it was smooth sailing. Installation staff (on phone and on site) were friendly, helpful, and took their time to make sure we understood everything. Workmanship was impressive, and Chris, our lead installer, helped make some adjustments post-installation. He even let us know that he didn't need all materials as stated on our contract and called the office to make sure our total would be adjusted down. I can't say enough positive things about the installation crew - they were a class act! The finished product is beautiful as well. We are very pleased.

Our installation was scheduled 15 weeks after contract was signed (cold weather and 2 major holiday weeks lead to approx 3 to 4 week delay). Installers Chris & Tim were on time and worked very methodically thru the entire day, w/o a lunch break. Each window was switched out, one at a time so as to minimize cold air invasion. Each step of the installation process was carefully explained. All questions I had were answered in very clear & understandable terms. Clean up at the conclusion of the job was nearly perfect. Both installers were friendly and professional. Finished product looks great. Now we await a reduction in our energy bill.

I love the new look. It took longer for the windows to come than I thought it would. They were not measured as well as the windows I got from Champion (different house) 20 years ago, but I am pleased with the ease of use. The price was excellent - much less than I was prepared to pay. There are a couple windows yet to go, and they guaranteed the same price later.

Lousy.I was finally told in July, by Stephanie the office manager, that there had been a flood in the manufacturing facility in Ohio and all orders had been delayed. This was the FIRST TIME, I'd heard about that. Finally in AUGUST, the Apex certified installer scheduler called me to set up install on my windows. He said they could do it the week after Labor day and that it would be a 3-4 day job. I told them that that was not acceptable customer service, and I'd been waiting 12 weeks when prommised 6-8. They were able to get me on the schedule for the last Thursday in August before Labor day. It took the installer only one day to put in the seven new windows and removed the old ones. He noted an issue with the screen on the kitchen window, and pledged to replace it. I was happy with the quality of exterior, but slightly disappointed with interior color which was too red for my trim. Two days later, I was cleaning my new windows and noticed smudges on my double hung kitchen window. Since it faces west, smudges and streaks were very noticable. Cleaned both inside and out before I realized that the smudges and overspray were between the triple pains. I again had to call Apex to arrange for the whole kitchen window to be replaced. That was competed in OCTOBER. I wrote a home equity check for the $7400 cost of this fiasco. The office manager, Stephanie, had the nerve to call me to see if I'd mail the check. Allegedly she'd sent me a final invoice on 10/24/14 by USPS which I never received an had no address to send it too. I'd emailed them for address and got no response. Even after I mailed it, she had the nerve to call me back when it hadn't arrived during the week of a federal holiday. There are some severe issues with their interoffice communication and between Apex and Alsides. They do not communicate well with their customers. Quality of the windows, once the double hung was replaced, was as expected and a huge improvement over our old wood windows. However, I'll be looking elsewhere for my last 3 windows and exterior doors.
