The quality of the product and the professionalism of the installers were great. They were independent installers hired by Apex, and they use them all the time. I would hire them again in the future.

We're pretty satisfied, and will use them again as we continue to replace our house's windows over the next couple of years. The sales individual was excellent, and the measurers/installers (who I believe they subcontract) were also great. The only "ding" on them was that once we signed the initial contract, they dropped off communication completely until the windows were in. It would have been nice to have some updates on the progress of the windows' manufacture, just to make sure that they didn't forget us! Overall, though-a real positive experience.

My main issue is that I felt somewhat misled by the sales person Greg Strand. My wife and I went to the APEX office to take a closer look at some of the windows to make sure they were to our liking. We picked out a certain style of window, with a wood textured look on the inside. Greg wrote up the contract at which point he recorded the colors we wanted - white on both sides and the windows were ordered. The turn-around was fairly quick and APEX was very flexible with installation dates. Midway during the installation process I realized the window frames were non-textured on the inside but flat which makes them a bit shinier in how they reflect light. I guess it is a subtle difference, but it was not what we thought we ordered. At that point it was too late to stop as some windows had already been replaced while my old windows were removed. I called Greg Strand to mention to him that there was a problem with the look on the insde. He then told me they don't sell wood-grain windows that are white inside and out. In addition, he said he did not remember we discussed the texture of the frame at all. He asked someone in the office to check the texture, then called me back and said they were not textured but flat! This really took the cake. I withheld 20% of the installation costs and had some additional discussions with Strand and another Greg at APEX. They did not apologize, but did admit that the windows in their office were textured, but that they were colored on the outside. I finally spoke with the owner Michael Foit to explain the situation and he did apologize for the apparent misunderstanding and was helpful in trying to resolve the problem (some of which would cost me more money, but that's beside the point - he tried). We came to an agreement. My wife and I felt that the way the sales staff of APEX dealt with us was atrocious, making us feel like liars. If you decide to do business with APEX, beware to triple check your order with the APEX sales staff to avoid any "misunderstanding".

They were great and they were easy to work with. The guys who did the installation were all very nice. They always called and kept me informed of when they were coming. When they arrived they noticed they did not have my cranks so they made an extra trip to back to make sure I had them.

They were excellent and we were really pleased with them. I thought that the price was very competitive. The finished product looked great and they did everything they said they were going to do.

Sales representative was a little late, but nothing major. The presentation was a bit long (over 2 hours). Was happy with the visit and the product, but they were a little out of our price range. Would definitely recommend Apex and would considered in the future for other products.

We like the sales guys. They had a window sample which was helpful. They struck me as professional and enthused about their product. They were honest.

They showed up on time. They kept the area clean where they were working. They were very kind and friendly. They were able to answer any and all of my questions.

Very excellent service. The person (Gregg), came out did the estimate. Nice to work with, trust worthy. I couldn't of asked for anything better. The windows were cracked but it wasn't their fault and they were honest enough not to put them in there. We had to wait a little bit but it was worth it cuz we didn't get cracked windows. Jerry installed the windows. They cleaned up everything and did excellent work and they were very pleasant to be around. They were just a pleasure to work with. Once they put in a window, they finished that window so there wasn't open holes everywhere.

I am really happy with the windows. The sliding doors that they used to replace the older doors were smaller than the old ones. I don't think that they did as good of a job on the doors as the windows because the opening was larger than the door frame itself. So they had to extend the molding on the door and the quality of the work could have been better. The workers were really friendly and the price that they gave me was reasonable.

From quote to clean up we were impressed. The salesman explained the product. Answered our questions gave us a great demo. The service department gave us good term choices, and updated installation dates, right up to day before with time of crew arrival. Removal of old and installation of new took 3 days.

The two guys that installed were the nicest workman I have ever had! They were courteous and professional. They were concerned with my puppies and pointed out a gate that wasn't working right, and fixed the gate! They did a great job with the windows, too! Everything was great, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! The windows are a great quality, look great, and work well.

It was excellent. I thought they were good because there were no hitches. They were timely and they always kept us updated. They gave us an estimate, which was right on.

They did six windows, of which two were large picture windows. They did excellent work. The salesman was a great person. The workers were quick and efficient. We did have a problem with one window, but they came out right away and fixed it.

The windows were ready ahead of schedule. They were installed by another company. The windows were as promised and are very good windows. They have practically eliminated drafts and reduced outside noise considerably. They did reduce the window area much more than expected as the sales person said we would only loose about an inch when in realty it was at least 2 inches. The caulk they provided the installers to caulk around the windows was a clear silicon that turned grey rather than clear and as a result looks terrible. Apex claims this is the caulk they always use and that the grey will clear over time. It has been 4 months and there is no sign of clearing. We withheld approximately $2000 and ask that they come back and use a colored caulk. Apex refused and said don't worry it will clear up but in-case it didn't they gave us a $200 credit. It would take a skilled installer only a couple of hours to use a colored caulk and cover up the clear, but Apex would not budge from their position. Not wanting to get involved in a collection dispute, we paid the remaining amount. I want to stress that the windows are very good. It is the management and sales people of Apex that we have trouble with.

Excellent work. The salesman, Greg, explained the product in detail. When he delivered the estimate, he explained the terms clearly and then went outside to put away samples while we considered the proposal in private. NEVER ANY PRESSURE TO SIGN. The project was done in many phases, at our request. The existing home is 55 years old and had the original windows. First we replaced all the old windows. Second, we had Apex install 2 large windows and a 1/2 round window in a new addition we were building. Next, Apex installed siding, soffets and trim on all non-brick areas of the home including the new addition. After that, they installed all new gutters. The last phase is a new front door with sidelights as soon as our remodeling contractor gets the area framed. All along the way, Greg and the office team were there. Installation was coordinated with the builder and the product was always ready and waiting in their warehouse for us to say we were ready. Excellent work!

The entire process was flawless. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. The sales person and installers were totally professional and punctual. The price was great compared to other companies I had quote the job. The product is first rate.

There was problems with one of the windows where it wasn't measured properly the first time. However, they came out and measured it again and were able to get it installed properly. They made good on the word and when we did have the problem they were able to correct it to our satisfaction. I would use them again.

Our windows were purchased and installed and I am completely satisfied. I purchased 19 very large windows, and two storm doors from Apex. Our house was chosen as a promotional home and we felt the price offered was a good deal. We had all wood Anderson windows replaced with Alside vinyl ones against my husband's opinion that we needed them. We have an old farm house and cleaning the old windows was getting to be a real chore and we aren't getting any younger. The new windows are easy pull down to clean inside and out. Greg presented us with his sales presentation and we bought that day. Rex came out to measure our windows within a week and the windows were ordered. Within five/six weeks Rex and his crew came out and installed our replacement windows in two days. Rex and his crew were very professional, leaving our house clean and no damage from the install. Our house is very quiet now and the windows are quality with lifetime guarantee.

From start to finish, the job was flawless. The windows are made to order, no drywall or repainting mess. The windows were installed in one day. The siding is insulated and the installers were polite, professional and on time. There was a time when the siding person was going to be late and he called to let me know. I cant believe the windows were that easy. The difference it made in the house is incredible. The siding is insulated, so I feel better saving money on energy costs in the future and the windows have made the house sound proof.

This past winter, we had some extremely high heating bills, and had decided to make the investment in new windows. We did some brief research on the Internet, and were about to start calling around for estimates, when an Apex rep called on us, so we decided to schedule a time to listen to his presentation. He required both my wife and I to be home when he made the presentation, which was a bit annoying, but since we were in the market, we agreed. The presentation was informative, but rehearsed. Bottom line, we thought the price was fair so we signed and gave him a deposit. From contract to completion things went well. They called to set things up. They came when they said they would. They followed up and fixed the few things that needed fixing. We paid as agreed.

I was impressed by the two installers, Jeff and Shane who came to do the measurements and to install the windows. They were professional, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves quite well.

They were very clean and put down drop cloths under each window. They were just great. Very professional and efficient. They finished in less than 2 days!

I was very impressed with the estimate. They have done windows for a lot of my neighbors and I wanted to have them out to see about my windows.

MICHAEL FOIT, APEX PRESIDENT, TOOK THE TIME TO COME OUT TO OUR HOME AFTER I CALLED THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW I EXPECTED IT TO LOOK DIFFERENTLY THEN IT DID AFTER THE INSTALLATION HAD BEGUN. HE DID SOME RESEARCH AND ACTUALLY CAME OUT TO MY HOME TO PRESENT SEVERAL SOLUTIONS TO MY HUSBAND AND I ABOUT WHAT WE COULD DO TO GET CLOSER TO WHAT WE EXPECTED. THE PRODUCT IS OUTSTANDING. WE ARE HAPPY WITH OUR APEX WINDOWS AND PATIO DOORS AND SERVICE.
