A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair

Repair work done to my satisfaction. Clean up by men was excellent.

Ron Bowen personally bid and supervised/participated in the repair of our foundation. We noted cracks developing in the brick exterior and Ron identified that we had an issue with one corner of the home sinking. Ron was very educational through the process in explaining why this may have happened and other things we should do to prevent future issues with other areas of the foundation. We are very pleased overall with the experience and interactions with Ron. We will use this company again in the near future to mudjack the driveway.

We did not actually have the work done but if I were in need of this kind of work for my own home I would certainly call A-1 Concrete Leveling of Zionsville. They were very efficient and helpful. The quote included an Angie's List discount.

Very please with dealing with Ron from A-1. When we discovered the basement problem in Jan we called out several contractors for advise and estimates. We then hired a consultant to review the various options - and he recommended that the A-1 approach gave us the best in terms of both providing a lasting approach as well as best impact on re-sale value. Once we notified A-1 that we would accept their proposal they immmediately came out and installed to interior wall braces to secure the wall from future movement. They then (a) willing worked with me on setting a date to do the fix that would meet both weather conditions as well as my work schedule; (b) willing worked to coordinate schedules with a basement water-proofing contractor I had selected to waterproof the exterior of the wall; (c) were very prompt and professional in their work and clean-up -- willing answering all my questions. Also, they recommended that the brace supports be left up for a few weeks as a preventative measure while the exterior ground re-settled post excavation - coming back at a time mutually convenient to us both to remove the braces and do final clean-up. All the members on the work-force were curteous and professional - and willing to answer all my questions.

The technicians were prompt and very courteous. They explained the entire process, completed the repairs, and cleaned up after themselves completely.

I contacted them for an estimate to raise the cement. This was a very temporary fix. It held up for about 4-6 months at best. I had another company come out who solved the problem.

We never did use them. We changed what we were going to do to our driveway. I don't remember their quote, but I know it was a fair price. We just decided to have it all removed and go with black top.

They did not do the work but they gave me a quote. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing. I went to their showroom where they have different concretes and finishes. Other issues have come up that are more pressing so we let this project slide.

The experience was good with them. They did what they said they were going to do. The pad that they did is cracking but that wasn't their fault. I think that was one of the risks of doing it but overall they were very good.

The price was reasonable. They were very responsive. They showed up on time to give the estimate and they scheduled the work right away. They answered many questions about the job and on how to maintain it. They explained on what I adjustments I had to do around the sidewalk so that it would not sink again.

We were very pleased with how they did it. We had a 10% off coupon. They came in here, did a nice job, and they cleaned up. They came out and gave us an estimate and they did it in a couple of days.

They came out and raised it up like they needed to for the amount of the estimate. I?m pleased with what they did.

Everything was great. They were nice and decent and did the work well. Their prices were reasonable. I was happy with them and would use them again.

They did a terrific job. They were fast and professional, explained things well, and offered good advice for maintenance. I'd use them again for sure.

Although A-1 doesn't typically work on wood supports, Ron did explain, in detail, his recommendation for selecting a company and what to expect. Ron even looked at our back patio and recommended a company to come out and estimate leveling the patio away from the house. I wish I had a job for Ron because there is no doubt he would be excellent.

The experience was excellent. They called to let us know exactly when they'd be out for the quote. Once Rod was out he explained exactly what was causing us issues. (has to do with builders who were to cheap to build something correctly back in the 1970's) Rod told us they could fix part of the problem, but recommended another business that would be able to fix root cause. If we decide to go the double fix path, I'll definitely be using A1 to do the mud-jacking. They're very helpful to deal with and thorough on making sure you're satisfied with their work (including simple quotes!).

Jim and Willie were the two men who showed up. They were very kind and answered our questions as they worked. Cleaned up after themselves on the ground when they left. I thought that was very kind. Their work does have a two year warranty, and that is nice to know. The price I was given included an Angie's List discount.

They did a very good job and everything went really well. I had quotes from other companies as well but this company had a very reasonable price with a life time guarantee. The owner was also available during the work.

It went well and Ron was helpful in his suggestions. I appreciated the fact that he was honest about there being no foundation issues and certainly would call him again if foundation or concrete work would need to be done in the future.

Told us the price to correct the issue we had with our foundation, but suggested patching it and watching it since we had a problem with our drainage. He felt fixing the drainage would probably fix the problem and prevent further damage. Estimate was a little high compared to others.

Drilled a series of hole to inject a limestone mix to lift and stabelize the concrete to its near original position. They showed up on time, early in fact, they cleaned up very well when they were finished, and a very good job on the project. They were very pleasant while at my home and i would have to recommend them to others.

Ron came out to look at our front and side porches. He understood the issues and was very honest in diagnosing the situation and proposing a remedy. He told me that while they could do the work, it would not be a long term solution. He told me that I would have to have the porches completely redone with proper footings and connectors if I wanted a lasting solution. I appreciated his honesty and not just trying to sell me a temporary fix. He was also willing to provide a referral to bid on the work.

The lady was very nice. However, since their minimum job is $240, my job is too small.

They really did a good job. The only thing you should be aware of is the fact they needed to drill holes to pump in the concrete. The holes are not lined up exactly, but the patio is raised and looks good.

Estimate scheduled for mid-February. Owner showed up on time and called me at work to discuss, while he was on site. Estimate orally accepted, and call promised the following week. No call received, so after a week I e-mailed. No response, so after another two weeks (weather generally not conducive to concrete work, anyway) I called office. Bid located, and work scheduled. Date work to occur employees showed up exactly on time and work completed in two hours.
