I purchased a Angie's Big Deal 4 hour block of John's time for tree service just based on his Angie's List A rating. I had never worked with Village Tree Service or John before. I purchased on faith & trust in the rating. I was right to trust and got a tremendous value! John from Village Tree Service came and looked over what I had planned and assured me we could get the work done in the time alotted. John worked around my schedule to plan our workday. John arrived at midday and worked hard chipping up the 5 large maple trees that I had cut down in the morning before his arrival. Then he cut down and chipped up another large tree that was close to my home. He methodically trimmed it into managable pieces and lowered the pieces down on rope so that they would not hit the house. He was thoughtful in suggesting that I cover my A/C unit to keep the sawdust out of it prior to his starting the work. John did not take breaks and was a great guy to work with. John is an honest, hard-working, quality contractor who showed up when he said he would and worked longer than the 4 hour block of time to complete the job. John left at 5:45 PM and although i did not note the time of his arrival I'm guessing it was 12:30 or 1 PM. I figure I received about 5+ hours of his time to complete the job and he didn't charge me extra. I believe that I recieved top notch service and tremendous value for my money. Village Tree Service gets an Angie's List A+++ for price, excellent service, and ease to work with. Thank you John for being an honest and decent man, not to mention and excellent contractor.

They showed up and did the work. Got the tree done as desired. Only negative was the company tried to charge me more for work that was completed months before when I purchased a big deal. They said the stump grinding has not been included before. I had not heard a thing from them after the earlier job and then when I call them again they want to charge me extra. I did not pay him either but said I may use him again but in hind sight I would not because of this extra charge he wanted,

They called and informed me that they would be a little late, due to maintenance on the vehicles. When they showed up it was remarkable how fast and professional they were. they helped me drag thebrush to my burn pit, and cut me some logs to sit on, aroun d my burn pit. after cleaning up the first tree, they moved to the second tree, and made short work of it. they chipped alot, they cut logs for my neighbor to burn in his wood furnace. they cleaned up after themselves. They did an outstanding job. I would reccomend them to everyone.

I was pleased with the work and professionalism.

.We had challenges getting the estimate and then scheduling service. They came while I wasn't home so I did not see the crew in action. They did complete all items requested, although they did hack a pathway through some trees to haul out the branches. Job was satisfactory.

Had an enjoyable time talking about trees and other things!

The whole experience went very well. From start to finish the owner of the company treated us well and was very professional.

He provided advice on what should be done. The estimate was reasonable and the service was excellent. We were very happy with the result. The old ash trees were hanging down and obstructing the view at an intersection. The trees have a attractive shape and allows more sun for the yard.

It’s an individual actually. We started using him for our lawn and then he told us that he would also be available for snow removal in the winter. He does yard work and snow removal. His first name is John Nowosielski. We don’t need to come out and remove the snow on our driveway unless we’ve had three or four inches or more. He came out several times and did the driveway. He is someone that I like very much. He’s very dependable and does a good job. He does lawn work as well but we are currently not using him for our lawn because my husband has decided to do the cutting of the lawn. He’s very dependable for the snow removal. I would use his services again in the future.

There was nothing about them we disliked. The owner seemed very conscientious and eager to do a good job. He followed up and checked on everything. The price was reasonable considering we had quite a bit of work done. They were excellent and we would recommend them.

He can do many, many yard services. We use him to maintain our yard when we are not home. He has installed a French drain in our yard. He has a lot of equipment that enables him to trim large trees. We are always happy with his work.
