Very professional. Excellent communications before, during, and after the work was completed. Based on the experience, I also learned some more about the trees and shrubs around our house, which is great.

Thanks to John for his help with concerns about our distressed tree and other plants yesterday. He is very knowledgeable and gave us expert advice on how to care for them. We would definitely call Village Tree Service for future service.

Once I was able to get in touch with John, things went well. The estimate was reasonable and I was happy with the work performed. We have used this service before and will likely use them again.

He was so extremely helpful! He came out to the house to look at our tree and told us all there was to know about the particular species and all the ways we could prune and trim it up to make it look nice. Literally, gave us a mini-lesson on our front lawn for no charge. We could have done the work ourselves, but we were in the midst of a large painting project and decided it was well worth the money to hire Village Tree Service to do the job. They were extremely quick to fit us in and asked my opinion before and after the trimming to ensure we got just what we wanted visually with our tree. The result has definitely increased our curb appeal. We would use this company again for sure! The pride of ownership shines through!!

I'd give them all "A's" down the line. I wouldn't say I have them on speed dial but I do know them on a first name basis and I'd use them again.

John arrived at 9:30, went over the work to be done on the trees and then started. The area was cleaned up very well, and the trees looked great when finished. We are planning to have more work done in the fall.

Excellent work. Scheduled for late summer after backyard had dried from spring rains; no damage. They brought in a bucket crane and cleaned up all the trimmings afterward.

John assessed my situation and told me all I needed was a little Do-it-your-self work. No charge and a great conversation about my trees and possible future needs (Ash trees of course). John is very knowledgeable and professional. He knows his trees and how to treat the people he works with. He is also a veteran and a very nice guy.

The crew was professional and worked diligently all day and cleaned up the yard when done.

From the very first contact with John (the owner), everything went very smoothly. He provided a little bit of background on the company and himself before going into details of what the job entailed. The estimate was completed very quickly and the communication was top notch. I was not home for when the work was to be completed so that just left my wife to deal with it. They made her feel really comfortable and never talked down to her. In order to have enough access for one of their trucks they needed to have our camper moved. My wife was unable to move it herself, so they volunteered to move it for her. Of course our truck battery was dead, so they jump started the truck in order to move the camper. They went above and beyond any expectations and this was before any work to remove the tree was actually completed. The tree removal went very smoothly and they left the area very clean. While them may not have been the cheapest (had 3 estimates completed), I am very please we chose to go with a small family owned business rather then one of the larger commercial businesses as I doubt we would have gotten the same great service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I was very satisfied with the services performed. The provider was very professional and gave me an itemized list of all the work to be done. The property was very clean when they left. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others.

To put it succinctly, it went "perfectly". Owner John Nowosleski and his crew did a fabulous job and both my wife and I could not be happier with the results. John showed up for the estimate right when he said he would and promptly provided me with a highly competitive estimate. He had done work for one of my relatives recently and she, too, was very impressed with the results. Neither of us could find as much as a twig in our lawns after the crews finished raking up tree debris--VERY impressive. The work was done on time and exactly as described. Based on my experience with him, I endorsed John to two of my neighbors, both of whom have dead ash trees, and he has already completed work at one location and is scheduled to do work at the other. I sincerely wish all contractors of all kinds had the kind of work ethic and customer service attitude demonstrated by John and his crew. I give them an unqualified "10".

We live on a heavily treed lot and it had been quite some time since we had had our trees trimmed back from our house. John came out and provided a very fair proposal for our property. It took a little while to actually have the service completed (hence the B not A in responsiveness) but I am sure that they are very busy after all the storms we have had this summer. John came out with two assistants and did a fantastic job explaining what he thought needed to be trimmed and why. The guys did a great job and cleaned up after themselves very well. The property looks great. I will use them again.

John was very prompt in coming out to my house to survey the work and give me an estimate. It was about 3 1/2 weeks before he could get there, but I was perfectly ok with that as I wasn't in any hurry, and it is most likely peak season. Plus, it has been fairly rainy lately. John and his fellow worker pruned and shaped a crabapple, white pine and red maple around my house, and also cut down a large walnut tree that was just feet away from my neighbors fence and also in close proximity to my propane tank. He did this in a very safe manner, which quickly alleviated my concerns about that. This was all done in about 8-9 hours total. When finished, they did a great job cleaning up, and even stacked the walnut wood for me to use as firewood! Wow! That was so nice. John is so personable and very professional and was great to work with. I will definitely use his services again in the future. I'm very happy I chose him!

John Nowosielski is a professional tree man. John was able to cut down an 80 year old tree that was 10 feet from the front of my house. He used ropes and pulleys, and was able to take down the tree and cut it all up. John was very polite and professional in his work. He informed us about what he was doing every step of the job. John was very punctual and paid a lot of attention to detail. I would reccomend this company to anyone who needs tree work done.

John Novosielski, the owner of Village Tree Service, was responsive and eager to serve right from the first phone call. He promptly came to our home to provide an estimate on the work and fully explained how he would remove our dead trees including grinding our stumps. When I inquired if he would shred our trees and leave us the mulch, he immediately said we would not want the mulch from our trees due to insects and trunk rot. However he said he would deliver a truckload of good mulch as soon as he had a truck full for us for FREE! Three days later we had had a truckload of prime mulch in the driveway! When I showed him two dead and partially fallen trees in the tree stand which I wanted knocked down fully, he did one for no additional charge and a nominal fee for one that was more difficult to drop. After John and crew completed the work, they did such a great job cleaning up the debris that you wouldn't know we had trees, limbs and sticks scattered all over our back yard. Other than the missing trees, you would not know they had been there. On top of the great work and service, they were also the low bid on the project. I would use Village Tree Service again and highly recommend him for any type of tree service.

Picked my walk behind lawn mower and performed winter tune-up, preparing it for this season. sharpened blades, changed oil and filters and cleaned up mower, tune up and returned it back to my home within a few days. Pickup and delivery of lawn mower is included in the price. Mower runs well this season and blade is sharp.

John is very professional and punctual. Plowed our driveway every time that snow accumulated over 2 inches on our driveway throughout this past winter season. Even made it out to our home after each of the the many snow storms to perform the work. Very easy to contact and responsive to phone call calls or emails! During some of the smaller snows of around 2 inches,, John would contact us to see if we wanted service or just leave the driveway alone. Would use him again!!

John and his employee removed half of a tree felled by heavy snow in a manner that saved the other half of the tree. They did the work carefully and safely. There was no debris left when the job was done. Their attention to detail in terms of cleaning up after the work was impressive.
