Description of Work: Selling home and inspection turned up foundation issues that needed to be corrected before sale could be finalized. Found IFS on Angie's List and competitively quoted them against another highly rated AL service provider. IFS was low bidder and projected a start date about three weeks out. I contacted the office and told them the work needed to be done to close on my now vacant house and they managed to get me scheduled the following week. Work was performed on-time and on-budget. If you are looking for foundation repairs, I would recommend putting IFS on your short list to quote the job.

Description of Work: Placed 8 piers for my home's foundation. Poly-leveled the sun room. | |They were nice and fast. The person in charge of the job and the one in charge of the crew were excellent. There were two things I thought could have gone better: |1. The lady in the office said I didn't need to move my furniture (I called specifically to ask), but when the man arrived to work on the sun room he said I did have to move it. He was a little irritated. |2. Two large bushes were dug up, but not removed completely. One entire bush was left laying in the back yard and there were large branches of the other one left in the front yard.

Description of Work: They used 12 anchor systems to stabilize basement walls. They took about three times as long to do the job as originally estimated. And want to change the size of the anchors after the job was started.

Description of Work: | | | | | | | | | |My chimney was leaning away from the side of the house about 3 inches. They dug down beneath it and installed piers to support the foundation and snugged it back up against the house. Workers were pleasant and did the job quickly and neatly.

Description of Work: Installed eight foundation piers, leveled main beam and cleaned crawlspace and installed new vapor barrier. I took bids from three foundation repair firms. I've been in this house for 25 years. The sales rep from IFS spotted things I was aware of but the other reps didn't notice until I pointed them out. Everything went well. My only concern was one area of the foundation which could have been lifted more. I felt they were lifting at the wrong point. I mentioned to the technician but I deferred to his expertise. We are talking about 1/2 inch. I was pleased with the floor leveling and the crawlspace. The price was in-line with the competition but I felt they were more experienced.

Description of Work: I didn't end up getting service from Indiana Foundation because the very nice gentleman that came out to give me an estimate (Keith) explained to me that he felt there was someone else he knew of that could better suit my needs. I was truly surprised by his honesty. He was more interested in doing the right thing than trying to sell me something I didn't need. From this one act I will certainly not hesitate to call them again in the future and will certainly recommend them to someone else needing similar services. By the way - I called the person he recommended (another company) and he was right; they will be getting my business; I am thrilled!

Description of Work: I received no response to either filling out a estimate request form on their website, nor via the "Schedule Now" on Angie's list site. | |If they called, they didn't leave a message for me to call them back, as a rule of thumb, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

Description of Work: Mine was a 2 day job, which they advised in advance. 3 guys showed up about 10am the first day but they had to leave early due to a personal emergency. They showed up again about 10am the 2nd day and worked through lunch to finish the job, and left about 2pm after cleaning up. Very professional. Nice work.
