It went very well, Jeff A arrived on time and was very professional, and kept me informed on each step of the process, I was told about my front landing pad by the job estimator beforehand.so in case it could not be lifted correctly. Jeff A tried to level it out and it could not be done the way it should have been, but everything else worked out perfectly, and I was happy with the results. Would most definitely call Indiana Foundation again !!

I thought everything was good until it rained. There is a puddle of water that stands on the left side of the house. I have texted the sales man to come back by three times. I haven't seen him. I am ready to do another job.

The total job was well done and has a life time warranty as long as the house is here. They worked very hard and cleaned up as they went I was always kept informed when any problems arose and had input on how to proceed.

The work was great so far, I have called them to check of a bit of a leak, and they installed a dehumidifier down the crawlspace and got a 3 year service plan from them which is transferrable for just $550.00 for the service plan.

The crews were extraordinarily polite, friendly, efficient, and very energetic. They ran into a lot of underground water when digging the trench for the buckled wall repair, but were able to put in the necessary reinforcements from inside the basement extending out to the trenched area. We live in an area with a lot of underground springs and artesian water, and when they began work the dirt under the foundation and crawl space was just wet mud, and water poured in at 36 inches deep as they created an outlet for the water to be safely drained away from the house. The basement is completely dry and we have a back up sump pump. My basement is surrounded by a crawl space since it was added after the house was built. The sump pumps and dehumidifier are warrantied for 5 years and the waterproofing has a lifetime warranty. Our house had problems because the basement was added after the house was built, but Indiana Foundation was able to make the house safe, and completely dry and usable. Since we live on a hillside, we will be adding a French drain behind the house and garage, far enough away to not further damage any of the foundations, but at the natural flow of the hillside where water collects to run down hill or underground. If we go at least 36 inches deep, it should help reduce some of the water that flows into the house area. This was some advice given by the supervisor at Indiana Foundation. They don't install French drains any longer, as they don't carry away all water and don't carry a guarantee, but in our situation it will probably help and is something I will be contracting out in the near future. The French drain is similar to what farmers install in fields to drain away excess water to a creek or deep ditch. It isn't something we have to do, but it will put a lot less strain on the sump pumps and other equipment, and in case of a long term power outage, would likely save our other appliances too (furnace, water heater, walls, etc.). I love the battery back up pump and it has already been in use twice when we had two separate power outages from storms. The workmen from Indiana Foundation were delightful to have in my home, running in and out with loads of materials, cheerfully hammering the walls and floors to install their system. Second: My electrician was able to repair a line running to our garage after the water problem was resolved. Water poured in over the connections in the basement without our realizing it, and no electricity was live in the back room of the garage. New basement, New Electric, New Plumbing - we are very happy with the results!

Thank you, Indiana Foundation, for solving our crawlspace issues of water, humidity and mold. Don Harcourt, Dylan Combs and Nick Ballard did an excellent job of encapsulating our crawl space. Our crawlspace is clean, dry and there is no mold. We encapsulated the crawlspace a couple years ago with another company that took shortcuts and it only made things worse. As a result, we had to take out what the other company did and have it done right, with drain tiles, a sump pump and dehumidifier. Indiana Foundation is worth the cost. As an added bonus, now that the moisture is out of our crawlspace even the doors in the house close better!

Will not hire again. Was told by a worker that the ($13,000) foundation job I contracted them to do would not be covered by their warranty because I needed to pay them to put in 2 more structural support poles at $2,000 a piece. The site around the house was left looking terrible because they didn’t pack down the dirt in the holes that they dug. I know they had one of those machines for packing dirt because they stored it in my garage over night. The lead for leveling my concrete slabs was telling me he was supposed to have been sent to a 1 week training course but that they were so short handed that he had to learn on the job and self-teach himself. Then he told me he had to leave a big un-leveled area in the middle of my drive way because he couldn’t level it without breaking the slab. And I’m thinking “Maybe if they had sent you to the class?” Got a “Used car salesman vibe” from one of the workers on the foundation team, like he would get commission for any extra work he could sell me. There were some good people, but One word describes Indiana Foundation Services as a company; SHADY.

We couldn't be more pleased with Indiana Foundation Service! After living in our home for many years we finally have sump pumps and a drain in our crawlspace with a new vapor barrier. The crawlspace was always wet in the spring with a musty smell that transmitted to the living space. While we would have preferred an encapsulation the cost was more than we were comfortable with. Jamie Montgomery, Raymond Martin, and Jeremy Pyles were excellent! They arrived on time, went to work immediately, protected the interior of our home and cleaned up completely afterwards. The whole process was most professional, from the initial call to Aaron Ewert, salesperson. Everything was like clock work. Highly recommend Indiana Foundation Service!

Couldn't have been any better. Starting with Jeremiah who changed our time to accommodate a last minute need for us to change our appointment. The crew, consisting of foreman Dakota, Paul, and Mohammed were friendly, hard working and willing to answer questions and let us know what they were doing. They showed up ready to work and put in long hours, and still cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. I would recommend Indiana Foundation and this team.

Zack completed the work as scheduled. I appreciated that he returned to check that the waterproofing was working properly and took time to explain the warranty.

Indiana Foundation was contacted by the buyer of our home following a home inspection which revealed moisture in the crawlspace. This puts them in a tricky spot between a home buyer and the home seller. They found normal moisture levels and sent us a proposal to mitigate the problem. We questioned the proposal because we were told our moisture levels were normal. Not to mention we just came off of one of the wettest months of May in history. We had questions and wanted to speak with the company representative who visited our home and created the proposal, but did not hear back from them. Upon my initial, negative review on Angie's List, I received a phone call from Jonas, the manager. We had a good discussion as to what happened and then turned our conversation into a plan to relook the crawlspace. Jonas came out personally to do this (within a day or two from our call) and spent time with me in the crawlspace taking moisture measurements throughout. It seems the original proposal was more than what the situation called for. Jonas has put together a more appropriate scope and proposal and we're looking to hire them. What stands out to me about this whole experience is a company that cares to listen, re-examine and make adjustments that are warranted. While the first company representative may not have been a good experience, the other people behind the company have been great to work with and communicate with. Kurt, the General Manager, was gracious, concerned and polite when I called about a possible problem. He came out with Chuck as early as possible at my convenience. An explanation was offered and an extension of my warranty was given for my peace of mind. I would recommend Inidana Foundation as I have found them to be a reputable company with excellent service.

Initial visit from Rob Rinne was thorough and professional.

Rob Rini was informative and left us a detailed estimate with different options. Answered all of our questions. Company and Rob communicated schedule, etc. Very well.

The original plan called for putting in interior braces to shore up the wall as there is a room over the exterior basement wall that needed repair, so anchor plates were likely to be problematic. Unfortunately, there was no choice but to use anchors due to the water drainage installed around the base of the basement. Bruce, CJ, and Kyle did not want to damage the drainage system by putting in interior braces, so they talked it over with their engineers to solve the problem. It was no easy task as they had dig very deep to get under the footers of the exterior room.
