Indiana Foundation Service

The experience was excellent with them. They were very prompt. They did a clean job. They did what they told us they would do. They are going to come back and do a little more this Friday. We found a little lawn moisture so they are going to do a little more.

The crawl space looks fabulous and very clean. They removed all of the debris and did a great job. My crawl space area and basement are no longer musty. Very dry now with the dehumidifier.

When he came to give me an estimate, the man pretty much diagnosed my basement water problem before I could even tell him the whole story. He was right on the mark with all the details, telling me that he knew what he was talking about. A friend had used them, so I felt comfortable from the start. I have a finished basement, so I had to remove the drywall before Indiana Foundation Service could do their work. They repaired the crack all according to their brochure and in-person description. I waited several months to send this review. We have had numerous large rainstorms and I have had absolutely no water in my basement. Without this repair I would have been sopping up water for hours. This product works as advertised. I used my Angie's List coupon which, I guess, paid for my membership.

Three repairmen showed up right on time. they got right to work covering the floors and entering the crawlspace, (it's not an easy entrance). They told me again what they would do. We thought it would take all day, but it only took a few hours. When the work was done, they again went over what they did and how the repairs were made, and what they used. They cleaned up and were gone before lunch. It's very clear that they do this all the time. They were very professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had IFS come out to help me determine how water got into our basement ceiling. They did an extensive inspection and determined that the water gained access through a down-draft exhaust outlet. They told me how to remedy the problem. We then took a look at our sump pump and decided that it would be a good idea to install a back-up pump; which they are coming out to do in a couple of weeks.

They checked out the foundation, and apparently our problem is not caused by a sinking foundation, but by the ground being higher than our slab in a few places which is causing the problems that we're having with water getting in. No work was needed to be performed on our foundation, but they were kind enough to explain what exactly the problem was and how it could best be fixed. They didn't try to sell us any work that we didn't need which was greatly appreciated. Had it been a foundation problem we would have gladly hired them.

The sales rep that I had the appointment with was a no call, no show. I drove 45 minutes to meet him at this property. I called their office and they tried to reach him. When they could not they said the sales manager was in the area and could be there in about 20 minutes. It was really 40 minutes. In all I waited over an hour for this appointment. Sales Manager spent about 3 minutes in te basement and gave me a quote of $3300 with little explanation. I was not impressed by the lack of respect for my time and the fact that I never heard from the original sales guy. I chose not to use them for the work.

There were 2 months between sales and install, which I thought was a little long but they showed up when they said they would and were on time. They worked diligently and professionally for three days. When they finished, both crawl spaces looked very clean and did everything they said they would do. I could not have asked for a better install and would use their services again.

The estimator was very knowledgeable, the company very organized and professional. The installer was thorough and efficient. Overall a very good company to deal with.

April 3 was the day it poured rain all day. Water was coming into a utility room in our lower level. We had this problem in the same room back in 2010. Indiana Foundation came out in 2010 and did work ( $985) to seal the walls and install new drainage pipes on the outside of the house wall to feed into a pipe underground. This stopped the problem until 4/3/14. I called them and they were very busy with other calls as we had 3 - 4 inches of rain that day. They called me back twice to assure me they would try and have one of their crews get to my house that day, and they did. The crew fixed the problem as we have had rain since that day and the room is totally dry. They did not charge me anything for the service call as they said their original work has a 20 year guarantee. I was really impressed with their concern for the problem and the willingness to respond the same day. I definitely appreciated it.

They gave me an estimate of $2,500 for the repair. I called another company to get an estimate and they said that no work needed to be done.

He recommended we not disrupt the now virgin soil around our 100 year old home. It would be worse to do that than just leaving it as is. I was very impressed that he did not try to pressure us into an expensive job that could have ultimately caused our foundation to be seriously compromised.

Overall- excellent. Jack hammers were quite loud but was expected. The crew showed up earlier than I'd expect but they called first. Good steady workers, friendly; because I was interested in the process they answered everything I asked.

It was a month before someone could get out here to give an estimate. THat was a long wait, but I decided that since I was shopping around in order to do the work in the SPring, it was fine. Still, it's a long wait. Dave was professional, however, and I was prefectly comfortable with him in my home and with his explanation of the work.

The price was outragous, way to much for the little work to be done.

Very good company and great workers but for what they did I could have done it for a quarter of the price just did not realize it until the job was done. Make sure you ask them how they are going to fix something before you commit to the service. Don't get me wrong this is a great company but now I see how they make their money and their profit margins.

The company, Indiana foundation service inc, first sent me a packet in the mail that had a picture of the tech. that was comming to my house, with other info. the tech called before he showed up to make sure i was around. When he arrived we discussed my crawl space issues and concerns, then he went to work under the house taking pictures and notes, i didn't have to even get under the house with him. when he was finished we sat down and he ran down what i needed and didn't need, and my options. this is a very nice company with no outside contractors.

Project went extremely well. I worked with Keith and Angelo was the foreman. I was very impressed with everyone I spoke to and Indiana Foundation Service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They did work for us in our basement, and they did a good job. Their price was good, I had shopped around a little bit, and they weren't the cheapest, but they were in line with everybody, and I found their quality of service was good. They came out the same day for whatever I needed.

Initial contact was a phone call, with a subsequent email from the company with info regarding their rep, their services and a confirmation of the appointment. The rep was on time, made a full inspection of the problem, gave me an estimate and made an appointment for the work to be done. Very respectful, efficient and the problem was corrected.

Steve from IFS was very thorough and professional during his presentation. Their prodcut looks great, but we wanted an exterior exterior drainage system on two sides of the house instead of the watergaurd interior drainage system.

this company is wonderful !! very nice, work very hard and clean up everything. when they were fininshed you never knew they were here. no dust, no dirt and no more water in basement !! yea!! will always recommend to all. now we have a wonderful family room downstairs and are able to enjoy it. thank you indiana foundations!!
