They did not do the job. They came and inspected the work. The salesman said, "Oh, that's no problem. Our guys will come out and put a thing on the wall and a thing on the yard. That would be no problem. We'll take care of that." I issued them a check and got a refund. They came out and gave me a quote. It was a month or so later before the people actually arrived to do the job. When the workmen got there to do the job, they couldn't do the job. Their equipment was too big. They couldn't perform the task that needed to be performed. They told me they would get their supervisor to come back and look at it the next day. He came out and looked at it and said, "We can't do that." I was very disappointed in them because it took basically two months to figure out that they couldn't do the job. I spoke to three different people on three different occasions. The first guy was excellent. He was the salesman. He said, "That's no problem. We would just do this and this and this and it would be done. No problem. $900." The workmen came and they couldn't do what the salesman promised. They couldn't begin to do the job. Their equipment was too big to fit into the space that it needed to go into. Their quote was very detailed. They did show up when they said they would.

The sales representative arrived promptly at the scheduled time and gave me the opportunity to explain what was going on and what work I needed done. After doing so, he went down into the crawlspace for a while and did a thorough inspection. Compared to a few other companies I had out, I do commend Indiana Foundation Service for the level of detail during the inspection, from taking a humidity reading to even pointing out a very minor plumbing leak that I had. Up until this point everything was going great, but after wrapping up the crawlspace inspection, things gradually changed and it felt more like a sales presentation then figuring out a solution that works best for the customer. Nevertheless, the solutions initially presented were very solid and appealing and thus I was willing to put up with the sales representative's spiel as long as in the end the price was fair and I was comfortable with the level of professionalism and quality of the work. After finally getting to the pricing, despite it being a little on the high side, I am not one that is opposed to paying slightly more for quality. However, it was during the negotiation that things quickly turned south in my mind. The sales representative used high pressure tactics, agreeing to reduce the price by around $1500 only if I signed a contract that very moment. This was an extreme turn off as I wasn't sure I wanted to do business with a company that resorted to such hard sell techniques. However, with an understanding of state law (allowing for contracts to be cancelled within 3 days), I did end up signing the contract, albeit still with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. The next day, I called some of the other companies, where a similar solution was offered for a similar price but without feeling like the object of a sales pitch and more like a company partnering with me to come up with the best solution. Based on the reviews I've read, I'm sure Indiana Foundation Service does high quality work and I'm not questioning that at all. Rather, if you are like me and don't appreciate aggressive sales techniques, then I recommend looking elsewhere as there are plenty of other good options.

Steve, (who is amazing!!) checked everything out and corrected my situation. Gave me great advice and recommended future services. I will definitely be getting my foundation leveled through IFS sometime this spring or summer.

I decided to install the system as a preventive measure - to prevent getting water in my basement. The crew arrived to do the installation as planned and immediately started arguing about how much of the northside wall they were supposed to install system on. Once we got that settled -I told them to leave and not return until they figured it out - the problem quickly resolved. The work progressed fine and they did a good job of cleaning up. In the process of installing the system they moved a washtub. I asked if they were going to put it back and reconnect the drains underneath. I was told I would have to do it myself. I'm not a plumber, so it leaks so I get water on the fllor every time I do laundry. They also rerouted the drain off my heating system into the waterproofing system without asking. I had just paid to have it routed into the sump pump and it worked fine. When i noticed what they did i asked them to put it back the way they found it. They said thet threw out the pvc system that went into the sump pump but it would just drain into the new system and there wouldnt be a problem. They were wrong. Yesterday when I turned the heat on it couldnt drain and backed up into the heater. I ended up with water across the basement floor. Now I need to pay the heating guys (again) to rerun the drain to the sump pump and repair any damage to the heater. On top of that, i now have no faith that the system Indiana Foundation installed even works. What started out as a preventive maintenance project has caused more harm than good.

They came for an estimate, lost my work papers. The manager himself came on his day off promising a healthy discount to make my experience a corrected one. He took care of me. Old fashioned way of doing business. I recommend them fully.

The service was great. Mark came out at 7am on a Saturday to meet with me. He offered a few suggestions to help with moving water away from my property. There was no cause for concern on foundation repair at this time.

Will & Josh were on time, very efficient, worked hard & cleaned up after left. I asked what they were doing, they explained it well.

They were excellent. They were timely and did everything they promised.

They were to check my walls in the basement because they put anchors on them to pull the walls out. They came out and cheeked it and reassured me everything was ok.

They were very helpful. I didn't end up needing to use them, but they gave me advice on how to take care of my problem.

The company's project manager showed up on time, provided credible answers to all my questions, and provided a proposal with cost estimate for a solution to my foundation problem. There was no hard sell and the proposed solution appeared to be sound. The price was in the middle ground of the proposals that I received. This was one of four proposals that I obtained in order to compare and evaluate. For reasons not related to any of the companies that submitted proposals, I elected not to go ahead with the repair.

Everyone very accommodating. They called to advise were going to be late and kept us advised of when they would be here. Clean and tidy.

They were just a tad late, but my house is in the country and can be hard to find. They put plastic on my stairs and sun room leading to the basement, preventing mess. They were quick, double checked exactly what they were supposed to be doing via the quote I had discussed with Kenny Sanders earlier that week. They filled in the old sump pump slot with some broken concrete, even though that was not on the quote. They also swept and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. I received another quote for waterproofing the basement. I had gotten many quotes for this already from other vendors and their bid was significantly less than anyone else's. This is my first house and I bought in not even a year before I needed to get all this work done. I have now scheduled them for the waterproofing and I will also give them a review on how they do with that. But so far I would defiantly recommend them, as a young women I did not feel like they were taking advantage of me or trying to get more money out of me than what they actually need to get the job done right.

She gave us a discount. I thought it was a little expensive. It took them about six hours. They put three supports. Things went well, they were very clean and cleaned up after themselves. Their workmanship was very good I thought. For what they did it kind of expensive. When they left, everything was fine. The supports were kind of small, they weren't as big as they should have been. I probably wouldn't use them again.

We were very happy. They were reliable and paid attention to detail. They were also knowledgeable on the kind of the work they were doing/ problems they were fixing.

Well, I was pretty satisfied everything except when they left. They left my yard with a big mess. They told me that everything was taken care off but they sent somebody out month or two later and he did the cleaning but its still not very good. I'm not so sure I would recommend them. I know they broke my water line and I wasn't really happy about that but I know that happens and they tried to fix it. I have no guarantee that it won't start leaking. I guess they did a good job. I don't know about this leaking. I really don't know about this. Let's see in a month or two. I hope I won't have a lot of water in my basement. I thought it was pretty expensive but I don'e know what the normal would be.

They were professional and respectful from the get go. Did not try to guilt me into additional services. On time and cleaned up afterward.

They are a busy company so it took a month to get scheduled. They arrived early and worked hard for two days. Met with us as issues arose. Work was good and we are satisfied. Did have to return on a minor issue that was quickly dealt with. Pump works well and so far, no more water in basement.

Work has not yet started but the evaluation process went well. Communication done by email was timely and professional.

Mark arrived on time, and did a very thorough external inspection, listened to my concerns, and then went into the crawlspace with his video equipment. He then returned, reviewed his video findings with us, and made recommendations for repair and/or upgrade of the crawlspace. His total quote, although expensive, included several upgrades that I asked that he include, so don't be scared off by the number! Overall, a professional review of our crawlspace concerns. I went with a different solution only because of special circumstances involving downspout extensions and landscaping issues.

While we decided to go with another company for the work on our basement, we were very pleased with our interactions with this company. There representative, Paige, was very professional and answered all my questions. They were quick to return calls and were right on time to come out and look at the area. We still have other areas of our basement that will need some work and will definitely consider them for future needs.

The experience was outstanding from start to finish. They showed up on time every day. They were extremely professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. This company and its employees know what they are doing and the deliver. They ran into several obstacles on our job, but never gave up, always found the right solutions, and did not charge us extra for the unforeseen issues that were encountered. They did a terrific job. If we have any further need for foundation services, we will definitely call Indiana Foundation Service. We highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation repair services.

They showed up on the right day and were very polite. They went about their work and got it done in one day. After it was done they explained to me how it works and said to call them if I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely use this company again if needed.

They did replace the shims but it didn't have the effect that I expected it to have so that's where kind of the misunderstanding came in but it was resolved and I'm okay with it now. I thought that that was going to take care of some unlevelness we had in our wood floor and that didn't really happen but I don't think that's their fault. I like the sales rep and I thought he was honest with me and wasn't trying to sell me service that I didn't need. I guess what I didn't like is that there was some kind of a misunderstanding over what I thought was going to happen when they were done and what actually happened. Communication wasn't great I guess.
