The representative was wonderful, very knowledgeable. But I did not choose them because 1) I had to call 3 times before they scheduled an appointment. 2) They only offered me 1 option to fix the problem, equivalent to the most expensive of the three options offered by the company I did choose; 3) The option they did offer was $1,000.00 more than the other company and the sump pump didn’t come with a battery backup.

It went well. The repair was made as advertised. We did need a return visit as it seemed that the water was not clearing behind the patch as well as expected. They came back and made some adjustments. Everything is looking and performing well now. They were very responsive to our request for them to review the work

bought this as a special and have not heard anything from the company.

It seemed to go pretty well, and I am satisfied at this point. This was my first time using this company.

Sometimes you deserve a great review even when you didn't do the job. Received a prompt return call from IFS to schedule an estimate. One day prior to the appointment, I received a call from the estimator, Aaron Ewert, who asked a few questions and determined that my issue was not one that IFS could solve. He carefully explained why and then, rather than say thanks and send me on my way, offered a couple of solutions and a recommendation for someone who might be able to help. I appreciate the honesty, referral, and willingness to go above-and-beyond. I will gladly recommend IFS to anyone.

Terrible. With all the rain we had gotten there was about an inch of water on one side of my crawl space. The inspector came out and said oh your flooded you need this 15000 dollar system. Scared me. I said well what about the joist damage. He replied with that there wasn't any he could see. I went and purchased a sump pump and crawled in myself to only find the small amount around the perimeter. You won't get my money bc I'm smart enough to look! I had someone else out the day before that said there wasn't any water! What a joke!

I decided on Indiana Foundation after reading reviews on Angie's List. A representative came to inspect my basement and recommended a drainage system and sump pump installation. He explained the process and left me with some information to look over. Was not a high pressure sale experience. That was nice. The work was scheduled for early spring and I was contacted by this representative to set up financing and to answer any questions I might have. Communication was great. The work was completed on March 3rd. The crew showed up on time and were very friendly and easy to work with. On March 18th I sent an email to my representative because I had noticed that on of the corners of the drainage system there was a piece of tape instead of a plastic border that all other corners had. I also expressed concern that the drain was not installed behind the washer and dryer. I thought I remembered that he told me it would be. I said that I was concerned that leakage from the basement wall would cause water to pool under the washer and dryer. He responded, saying that sometimes tape was used around corners to maintain proper grade while making the turn so that it didn't move as the concrete was replaced. He said to remove the tape and that there should be a plastic lip behind it. He also explained that there must have been utilities sitting on the concrete slab behind the washer and dryer that prevented placing the drain there. He further stated that if I ever had a problem with water coming in that it would be fixed at no cost to me. I later went to remove the tape and discovered that there was no plastic lip behind it. I informed him of this and sent pictures per his request. On March 27th he let me know that he would take this information to the production department and review the notes from that day (the installation day I assumed). He said he would keep me posted. On April 17th I emailed this representative to ask if there were any updates as I had not heard back from him. He responded the next day saying that my concerns had made it up to the "big boss" and could I send two more pictures-one showing how the corners come together and another showing where they don't overlap. I sent the pictures. On April 29th I went to the basement to do laundry and saw that a puddle of water had formed under the washer. I sent an email that day explaining the situation. I also stated my disappointment that I still had not heard anything yet about my first concern (missing plastic lip). I then pulled out the written contract and saw that it was clearly stated that the drain would be placed behind the washer and dryer. It did also say that "a curb may be needed to install the system correctly" at an additional cost. This was never brought to my attention. The drain was put in front by the crew, no questions asked. I asked at this time to be contacted by someone on Monday May 1st. Not hearing from anyone, I called Indiana Foundation on May 2nd and spoke to someone in the office, explaining the situation. She said she would let me talk to a production manager. He was not available at that time but she asked me if that Thursday at 1pm would be a good time for someone to come and look at the work. I could hear her asking someone in the background if Thursday at 1 would be ok. I said that would be fine. She said a production manager would call me back that day. I didn't receive a call but assumed that someone would be coming on Thursday. No one came. No one called. I called back on May 8th and spoke to a different person in the office. I described to her what was going on and that I was very frustrated. She was very helpful and promised that a production manager would call me before the end of the day. I later received a call from one of the production managers. He asked me about my concerns. First of all, regarding the missing lip around the drain corner, he said "well, sometimes we just run out of those". I then told him about the washer and dryer issue and since the previous week I had also noticed another area of the drain that seemed to be leaking. I thought maybe it was overflowing since it seemed to be in a lower area. He stated that if that area was leaking from over the drain that he would fill the system with a garden hose to see if that was the problem. He said that talking with me had really helped to understand the issues I was having. He informed me that I had been put on the schedule for June 21st to address these issues. No one had told me this and didn't even ask me what my availability was to have someone come to do the work. I called on May 15th to reschedule for another day as June 21st would not work for me. I was told that there was nothing available until August. I later called back and demanded to be considered for an earlier date. A crew came to do the work on May 22nd. The drain was placed behind the washer and dryer. I inquired about the possible leak coming from another part of the drain. The crew member knew nothing about this and did not seem concerned. I did not have the energy to pursue this further as it was late in the evening. I will keep and eye on it and hope for the best. I feel that as soon as the job was finished and paid for that my concerns were not important to this company. I believe that the drainage system and sump pump is a great product. I am not impressed with the customer service I have received. It was also very inconvenient as I had spent hours cleaning and moving items back down to the basement only to remove them and clean up again. I also did not get an Angie's List discount that I specifically asked for.

The basic work was done well, but fit and finish and clean up after the job was less than expected. I also was disappointed in the extent of communication after the job.

I had IFS to my house in Columbus on the recommendation of WIBC experts. The associate they sent was very professional, polite, and personable. He identified the likely causes of my water intrusion. He recommended other companies for the solution, telling me that IFS does not offer the necessary services. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need.

They gave us an estimate, reviewed the work done, took photos. All was done to ours and the buyer's satisfaction.

Great! Mark Jennings told us the slope was nothing serious. He made an inspection under the home and noticed that it was a bit humid with a little mold. He said it was not a serious problem, but could become one as it should not be so humid down there. He did have a plan to remedy that situation. We think it sounded correct and felt the price was fair. We did not have it done, tho, as we decided to go a different direction-since this was not the real intention of the free appraisel. We may at a later date look into this issue and would be more then happy to hire Mark.

The quote started at 7500 within four hours of their arrival it went to $18,250. They nicked the siding on the house, They dented the exhaust for the fireplace, they made promises they did not keep. The whole experience was a nightmare.

I don't know of anything they could do. I am satisfied with them. They respond when I call them. They give me an appointment. They're always here when they say they will be and if something comes up they let me know. I've been very satisfied with it. No problems.

They've done work for me. I've had them about 3 or 4 times. They did a very good job. They did everything they said. I would recommend them. It was not foundation repair. They put a drain around my basement all the way around my basement on the interior side of my basement. They did everything they told me they would. They did it on a timely basis. They let me know when they were going to be here and they were here. They just did good work. They come back for annual checkup on my...when I call them, I have them down for annual checkup on the service. Because they check the sump-pumps and everything to see that they're still operating properly.

Overall well......Late arrival on day 2 (office meeting). Was to come to site on a Saturday (no one showed) Clean up could have been better

They were so honest. I was at work when they came to raise my sidewalk and driveway. When they do this type of work it is impossible to give an accurate price because they don't know how deep the void is underneath the concrete. This is understandable. After they arrived and lifted the sidewalk the man called me and said he didn't know if he was going to have enough (stuff) to fully lift the dirveway becouse he didn't know how big the void was.. I told him to add $400.00 more of (stuff) if needed it that wasn't enough to call. He called me back an hour or so later and said he was finished. I said great how much were you short? He said none.....WOW

We have had three appointments with Indiana Foundation Service for a estimate for crawlspace repair and waterproofing. We rearranged work schedules to be available when the service provider could arrive. The first two appointments were cancelled an hour before the agreed upon time. The third appointment was a no show. We did not receive any follow up phone call, nor has there been any explanation for the no show or attempt to reschedule. We are very disappointed with our experience with Indiana Foundation Service, and will not be recommending this company to others.

We had a great experience with IN Foundation Service from beginning to end. The sales process was timely and non-pressured, the foreman of the work crew was extremely professional and pleasant, and the work itself was stellar. They did a fabulous job cleaning up after themselves and thinking outside the box when the spot where the sump pump was to be installed originally didn't end up making sense. Highly recommended.

It went just fine. They did a very nice job, cleaned up well, and were not hard to work with.

I was not happy with the end result. There was a large crack that I had to fill with caulk. It does not look very good. The appraiser said I would still see the crack but not a lot. It does not look good to a future buyer. I have another patio thas is also cracked but not sure if I would use again.

Crew arrived and randomly chose two (2) locations on each side of the sliding glass door (walk out basement) for placement of the piers. A jack hammer was used to remove sections of the concrete patio in order to access the foundation. Also, a hole was dug on the wall perpendicular to the patio in order to place the jack and install a third pier. The crew leader explained his opinion that the foundation sank because there was not a proper footer under the perpendicular wall. A heavy piece of angle iron was installed (no additional cost) under the perpendicular wall in order to strengthen the foundation. The crew leader explained that despite their best efforts they were unable to close the crack in the brick. The crew leader raised and lowered the jack several times in order to demonstrate this fact. When the job was complete, I inspected the work with the crew leader. The original problem had been a crack from the south corner of the sliding glass door to the window on the floor above. Now there was a second identical crack from the north corner of the sliding glass door to the window above. I expressed my displeasure with the result and the crew leader explained that this happens sometimes without explanation. Unbeknownst to me while I was speaking with the crew leader. another member of the crew went to the front of the house to request payment from my wife. She obliged, however he gave her a bill from another job that was lower that what we had agreed to pay. When the crew member came back for the correct payment. we held up our part of the agreement and paid the correct amount. On April 29, 2015, I sent a letter to Danny E. Morrow, President , Indiana Foundation Service, Inc. expressing my displeasure with the work that had been done. A few days later, his local representative contacted me and agreed to hire a brick mason to repair the newly cracked brick. That was the last time I heard from anyone at Indiana Foundation Service.

We are very happy with the work. We had a small issue with how the Brightwall was installed along the bottom of the wall. Contacted the company and they sent out a technician fairly quickly to have it fixed. The technician fixed the issue and now we are waiting to see how well the system works when Spring arrives.

They did a wonderful job! My basement was dry for the first time in years after all the rain we've had. They were great about coming back to fix an issue we found, and they were great about answering any questions we had. I would recommend them to anyone.

Keith showed up promptly, was very polite and extremely knowledgable. He was very helpful not only in explaining their process, but also in explaining about the whole wall crack process as well as other moisture issues one can have in a basement. Their company is obviously on top of the latest technology for basement waterproofing and I would seriously consider hiring them if we ever finish off the basement. However, we felt that the crack we have right now could probably be fixed with a less invasive treatment, since we've only really seen any water twice in seven years of owning the property. Would highly recommend them otherwise! Really appreciated Keith's knowledge and expertise and him taking the extra time to walk around the outside of the house and point out potential issues.
