Lawn Maintenance: We have had two previous professional lawn care services over the years- Chemlawn and Scott's. This year after doing significant research, we opted to use Hoosier Lawn Maintenance out of Whiteland and have been extremely happy. First of all, their owner came to our home and discussed the lawn care program she recommended for us. We have particular challenges with a Brown Co lawn and the plan would assist us in meeting the challenges. The crew did a significant amount of manual labor aerating our lawn by hand prior to reseeding. We could not be more pleased, Connie and her team are very professional, prompt and have open communication with us on the execution of the overall lawn care plan, a far cry from being a number only type of service with Chemlawn and Scott's. Initial year 1 cost for our large 1/2 acre yard with all manual labor and supplies for aerating, reseeding, fertilizing and weed control $600....results well worth every penny Landscape: Connie and her team completed a landscaping job in a large flower bed for us. For over 25 years we have been doing all of the landscaping on our property and maintaining it. A couple of years ago in an outside improvement effort, we had stamped concrete walkways and our flower bed edging professionally done. We have been working to plant and revamp beds over the past couple of years. However, a few injuries had slowed us down this year with one prime lakeside area to go. We have a sloped hill and often remark you must be part billy goat to work in our lawn. Connie came up with a detailed plan and presented the plan to us for completion of the flower bed. The plants she had planned fit in very well with what we had been planting and she had a very nice plant layout and overall design. This certainly was not a typical job, they had to wheelbarrow down the slope additional soil for the bed, plant the perennials with wire around them (to deter the vols) and then manually carried and spread a large volume of mulch bags down the hill and spread it. Not only is the completed project beautiful, their crew was very polite, skilled and completed the job in one day. This bed would have taken us many weekends to do as weekend warriors. Cost $2500.....results are beautiful. We continue to be very impressed with Hoosier Lawn Maintenance and look forward to working with them for many years to come.

We started their service in 2012. We continued into 2013. We got a discount for paying for all 5 applications at one time in advance for the entire season. Ryan automatically applies the required treatments and we have nice grass and no weeds. I would recommend their service to anyone.
Description of Work: Applied lawn weed control and fertilizer.

They approached me to discuss some possible lawncare services. The owner of the company (or atleast claimed to be the owner) asked about performing lawncare fertilizing and weed control services. At the time, this man was on a neighbor's property doing some spring clean-up work. He asked about an estimate that was given by another company that had been servicing my lawn for about 4 years. He asked about the weeds in his customer's lawn (acting like he didn't know much about lawns) and was acting as if he wanted my lawn guy to treat his customer's lawn beacuse and quot;we don't do that part of lawncare.and quot; Later found out that he was just looking to underbid my lawncare guys so I would to switch to him. Very sad way of doing business.
Description of Work: No services performed by them. Not until after estimate that I found out they misrepresented themselves.
I needed to get more rocks for my flowerbeds and get them touched up. Hoosier put them in several years ago and I really haven't done anything to maintain them in the past 6-7 years. The rocks were looking a little sparse and I needed to get things cleaned up. Matt came out and gave me an estimate and I will be scheduling it soon. I am also going to get back on the fertilizing program. When I used them before they were very reasonably priced and my lawn was one of the nicest on my street! They are always very friendly and very professional. I wish I could afford new hardscaping/pavers because the work they do is incredible!
Description of Work: I have used this company in the past for Lawn fertilization and Landscaping. I have used them off and on since 2004 when I purchased my home. Designed landscaping, put in border, rocks, plants and trees. Called them recently for maintenance on these beds.
