It went very well. They arrived when they said they would, the two gentlemen were professional and efficient, and my window looks great.

We had 13 windows with seal broken (glass all fogged over) and they replaced all of them.

They would not preschedule their work day. Only if it rained would they show up at last minute (They would call up and say I have a free spot since it rained.) They did not wear foot protection and it's raining and I just had floors installed. The first time they knew what they were doing, the second time they sent a kid who didn't not know what he was doing with no work order or directions. They ruined the screens I had in the windows they raised the casings and bent them in to make them fit. I paid a down payment and I wouldn't pay the balance because they wouldn't come back and complete the job. They tried to take me to small claims court about that. I would not recommend them ever to anyone.

Kathi performed the estimate and noted concerns about water seepage in the wall beneath the window as well as the obvious wood rot at the base of the window. She said the lower wall would be assessed by the installer and exterior wood panels would be replaced if necessary. When the installer completed the job, I inquired about the condition of the wall beneath the window. He looked puzzled at my inquiry and said Townsend Glass is not responsible for walls, only the windows and frames. This was disappointing, as the area in question was now resealed. The woodwork and glass placement was very nice. Caulking was a bit sloppy in corners. It would have been nice for the installer to leave behind an interior piece of the frame so we could match the stain color more easily since this was our responsibility. Townsend was contacted via telephone in Jan. 2013 for a review of work done on the window, as water damage appeared in the lower left corner of newly installed window within 6 months of installation. Owner caulking and painting of the home did not resolve the leak. An inquiry was made on warranty of work/window by the homeowner. Townsend rep. said they would investigate and call back, but homeowner was never called back.

The work looks very neat and good. They were punctual and very responsive. I liked that they came out to the house to quote me. Others did it over the phone. They delivered exactly what they said they would.

We had someone from the company give us an estimate. Troy and Chris just left after installing 3 tall windows in our living room. They called to say when they would be here, were perfectionists and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. We also had glass for a desktop made, and that was a great job too. I'd use this company again in a heartbeat.

They came promptly gave a good estimate and completed the work when they said they would, only took 1 1/2 hours to replace two sliding glass door windows.

Ken came out next day to give us the estimate. He was prompt and professional. We decided not to do the work at this time but will call Townsend again when we decide to complete the job.

The person I spoke with was unwilling to accommodate my scheduling needs. I was curtly informed that they were really busy and that it would be two to three weeks before they could come out to do an estimate. I reluctantly made an initial appointment at an inconvenient time for me. Upon reflection, I decided that they probably would not work with my window needs very well either. So, I canceled the appointment- which really was not an appointment since the person had said they would send someone out on a particular date sometime during the morning- but without a specific time. Did not feel good about trying to work with them.

Estimate was done quickly and was very reasonable. Work was done on time and quickly. The new windows look great and there was no damage to the window frames. I was extremely happy with the whole process and would highly recommend the company.

Townsend Glass were very polite, on time, and reliable. We were very happy with the job they did.

They were really good to work with. I would recommend them.

They repair windows of all types and replace rotten frames, sills, brick mold. They do not try to sell you expensive new replacement windows (as many companies do). With my older windows, they actually fabricated custom replacement frames at a reasonable price. They primed the wood when installing new wood. Cindy, the main contact person, was very prompt and pleasant. My only complaint was that the work was scheduled for one day, but due to an employee not showing for work, the job required an extra day. Instead of completing the job the next day, they had to schedule for the next available appointment, which was over a week away. This interfered with the exterior painting I had scheduled to start after the windows.

The glass replacement was done in a professional manner and we were pleased with the service. The only glich was that the casement window would not close, they came back out and fixed the casement window.

Ken was on time, very polite and friendly. My whole experience with the company was great.

Very detailed analysis of windows took place before bidding on job. Workers were timely, clean, and friendly. Three windows that did not close completely due to aging, all close nicely now. Replaced windows were all cleaned and junk taken away. I was responsible for painting and staining of new trim.

THEY ARE VERY DEPENDABLE. THEY ALWAYS COME WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. THEY DO A GOOD JOB.

The response time was very good. The estimate was fair, as this was a large pane of glass. The workman was neat and very efficient.

They did an excellent job in performing the work, and were always on time. The only area that they are lacking is in having a person with good customer service skills answer their company phone. Ken Townsend is very professional, however.

SINCE BOTH OF THESE COMPANIES APPEARED TO BE EQUALLY CAPABLE, WE CHOSE THE ONE WITH THE LOWER PRICE.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. WE OBTAINED TWO ESTIMATES. TOWNSEND WAS SLIGHTLY LESS EXPENSIVE THAN ANOTHER COMPETITOR ALSO ON ANGIE'S LIST. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

FIXED MY WINDOW, FOR FREE, THAT WAS NOT WORKING.

GOOD, STUCK WITH ESTIMATE EVEN THOUGH THE REPAIR TIME TOOK LONGER THAN ESTIMATED.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR A NUMBER OF JOBS INCLUDING REPAIR AND INSTALLATION OF NEW WINDOWS. THEY DO GREAT WORK AND ARE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL.

MR. TOWNSEND CAME AND GAVE AN ESTIMATE, WHICH WE FELT WAS GOOD. THE CREW CAME ON TIME, THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, NEAT, AND CLEAN. WE WILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY OF OUR GLASS WORK.
