Description of Work: Shower knob would not control water flow -needed to be replaced. Had to order a new knob so it took a couple weeks, but it was over the holidays! Diagnosed quickly and when part came in, replaced quickly.

Description of Work: My main line out to the septic tank was clogged probably by a tree root. Before I called them I tried to take the cap off the drain pipe so I could try to clean it myself with a a small auger. I could not get the cap off but damaged the wrench fitting on the end cap and caused it to leak. I called Isley Plumbing to clean my drain pipe. Nate and Jordan did a fantastic job in both replacing my damaged end cap and cleaning out the main line drain all the way to the septic tank. All my drains now work perfectly. I will recommend them to my friends.

Description of Work: I called them today after seeing great reviews on Angie's list. The person who recieved phone wasvery curteous and professional. She was able to give me an immidiate appointment which was very nice. Unfortunately the person they sent was truly an alcoholic and smelling nothing but alcohol. He was extremely dirty and had most foul smell any body can imagine. I found it very unprofessional . I called back and told them about the incidence. I will never use or recommend this company.

Description of Work: This was an unusual situation. A plumbing line had stopped up in a property that we own. The tenant was doing contract work in New Hampshire in the cleanup of Hurricane Irene. His daughter, living at the property, refused to return calls. Isley tried at least five times to reach the daughter and gain acess. It wasn't until the father returned from New Hampshire that we could gain access with Isley. Mr. Isley himself got involved. Isley cares and did a great job. Although the work done was rather routine, how many contractors would stay involved under these circumstances. L.E. Isley and Sons are to be highly complimented. Jack Rupp

Description of Work: excellant service. this is the second time we have used them in 6 months, and both times they were out to our house within a few hours of calling them

Description of Work: Replaced bath tub drain fitting and trap. Took about 2 hrs and parts were on the truck. Parts cost about $25 - 30 max. I think $170 per hr is excessively high for labor cost. I did not ask for a price reduction nor did I shop for price, having previously had a satisfactory experience with Isley, I told the tech to proceed even after he had quoted me a price of $387 (I did use the $20 Angies List coupon. The need to get the drain leak stopped was urgent enough that I chose not to delay the repair by having other companys quote the job. If I have a less urgent plumbing need next time I will spend more time looking for a more cost effective solution. Bottom line: Tech showed up at the time he was expected, the job was completed satisfactorily in a timely fashion, but I feel the price was out of line.

Description of Work: Their service man came out and inspected my front outdoor faucet. He discovered the problem and gave me a price before proceeding with the work. He did a great job and explained every thing that he did. I paid him. A couple of days later, I was checking Angie's list and discovered that they had a coupon. I contacted the company and they sent me a check for the coupon amount. You cannot beat that for customer service. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

Description of Work: We called Isley at 8:30am on a Saturday due to backed up drain in the kitchen resulting in steady water on the floor. They answered immediately and said someone would be at our house by 11am. A truck arrived at 10:50. He did what he could but quickly realized more equipment was needed. He called for assistance and another employee was there in 20 minutes. After snaking the drain under the sink he also got on the roof and in the crawlspace to get access to the blockage. Everything was finished in 90 minutes and they cleaned up the water in the kitchen. These guys were courteous, efficient, and communicated concerns very well. In a word--- professionals. I have added them to my contacts for future work and referrals.

Description of Work: My bathroom hot water faucet handle had become non-functiional. Isley's representative called to see if he could come earlier than originally scheduled, and then showed up as agreed. The problem turned out to be a simple part on the faucet, but unfortunately the faucet is now manufacturer discontinued. The representative obviously did not have the part, but he did show me what was needed, and explained that I might check on line to see if it was available anywhere. He also suggested where I might check in town for the part. His only charge was $39 for the call and consultation. I was lucky enough to find the part, which the local supplier even gave to me at no cost. So overall, my fears of a very expensive repair, turned out to be a very worthwhile $39.
