Description of Work: Replaced a damaged 12" with a 14" Silcock Frost Free and repaired a 3/4" copper tubing joint pinhole leak in cold water pipe to water heater, installed by others. The workmen were efficient craftsmen who were clean and courteous. Isley & Sons, Inc have a professional operation. We'll use them again and again.

Description of Work: A leaky kitchen sink faucet finally got annoying enough to make me go to Ace to get the washers that needed replacing. I got the water turned off, after some false starts. Since the faucet has been there about twenty years and we have very hard water, the Allen screw that held the handle on, which I needed to remove in order to replace the washers, refused to budge. I realized the faucet would have to be replaced. I went to Ace for the new faucet. I disconnected the old faucet from the water, after really getting the water turned off. I then realized I couldn't get vice-grips on the nuts holding the faucet to the sink. Later, a friend lent me his basin wrench, but the spring was broken, so I went back to Ace. Then I discovered that, even with the basin wrench on the nuts, I couldn't budge them. This wasn't amusing for someone who turned sixty-five last month, but I felt better when a neighbor a couple decades younger couldn't move them either. My daughter started showing me pictures of the new sink she'd like. Then I took a look at Angie's List, and I called Isley. The man showed up the next morning, got the old faucet loose, installed the new faucet, which btw doesn't leak at all, and he left the kitchen in better shape all around than he found it. My daughter was home at the time, and she said he was all business, went right to work, and she was surprised when he was done so quickly, especially after the three weeks I'd had our kitchen effectively dry. I'm a slow learner, but I think this lesson has finally sunk in. The next time I'm tempted by D.I.M. plumbing, I will call Isley instead. I wish I'd done so weeks ago. Great work, decent price, no problems, which is a h*** of a lot more than I can say about my own efforts.

Description of Work: L.E. Isley was contacted to put a piece into the Fireplace gas line to stop a gas leak. They were punctual and did the work in a timely fashion. The workman was both courteous and knew what he was doing. The charge for the part and the work to install it was reasonable.

Description of Work: I was told I had a leak in the crawl space by a person doing work in the crawl. The plumber found no leak but figured out that my old utility sink has a leak. He could have overcharged me, but was honest which I really appricate.

Description of Work: Shower knob would not control water flow -needed to be replaced. Had to order a new knob so it took a couple weeks, but it was over the holidays! Diagnosed quickly and when part came in, replaced quickly.

Description of Work: My main line out to the septic tank was clogged probably by a tree root. Before I called them I tried to take the cap off the drain pipe so I could try to clean it myself with a a small auger. I could not get the cap off but damaged the wrench fitting on the end cap and caused it to leak. I called Isley Plumbing to clean my drain pipe. Nate and Jordan did a fantastic job in both replacing my damaged end cap and cleaning out the main line drain all the way to the septic tank. All my drains now work perfectly. I will recommend them to my friends.

Description of Work: I called them today after seeing great reviews on Angie's list. The person who recieved phone wasvery curteous and professional. She was able to give me an immidiate appointment which was very nice. Unfortunately the person they sent was truly an alcoholic and smelling nothing but alcohol. He was extremely dirty and had most foul smell any body can imagine. I found it very unprofessional . I called back and told them about the incidence. I will never use or recommend this company.
