We are pleased to hear that our technician did a nice job rectifying your issue during such a stress full time, while maintaining a polite and courteous demeanor. We are concerned regarding your disappointment with our pricing as we feel we are quite competitive within the market. Upon researching your account to get a better understanding of the work completed on our visit, there were a few things that I would like to clarify. Now you have listed that the cost was $2600, which our records indicate your total cost was $1672. I am not sure it there was a typo or exactly where the discrepancy is coming from, however, if you did pay the amount listed, I would urge you to contact us immediately to discover the error. Finally, I would like to clarify the work that we did complete while at your home. We did indeed replace your primary sump pump which had failed at the time of your call, in addition though we also installed a battery back up sump pump. This back up system would indeed increase the total price versus just the replacement of a primary sump pump,however, a back up system is a wise investment to save your basement from any future flooding if another issue should occur with your primary sump pump failing. If such an incident should occur with your primary sump pump the back up system will kick on to avoid a panic as such a situation prior. The battery back up system does seem like quite a costly item however, it could save you from a flooded disaster in the future. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.
