Description of Work: Gonzalez Construction built our deck, it is well built, no shortcuts, professionally done. It came out exactly as we wanted it. They came on time, cleaned up at the end of each day. We would highly recommend them

Description of Work: I received several estimates to repair a leaning privacy fence. The 16-year-old fence needed new copper post tops (the old ones had fallen off) and several posts needed to be reset in cement. In addition, we wanted some gaps closed off at the bottom because we now own a small dog and didn't want him to escape under the fence onto a busy road behind our property. All the estimates we got were competitive, but what convinced me to go with Gonzalez was the professionalism of the owner. We received a well-itemized estimate, which the other bidders did not supply. I was able to save some money by buying the copper toppers myself. With all the rain we received this past summer, the work was delayed twice. Each time there was a delay, I received an email beforehand explaining that because of the rain the work was going to be pushed back a day. I ended up paying almost $400 more than the original estimate because I had the workers add several additional boards to close off the gaps, which were wider than anticipated. The most important thing is that the fence looks terrific and I hope this repair job will last another 16 years.

Description of Work: I contacted Mauricio concerning reinstalling vinyl fencing in our backyard that had been removed for a new mini-barn. He used the existing fencing that we had and also purchased some new posts and concrete. He stayed in touch and showed up on time for the repairs.

Description of Work: Mr Gonzales was hired to begin a long term renovation project on our barn that was built in the 1850's. The initial renovation included tearing out and expanding an existing tack room, adding a large grooming stall, rebuilding stairs to the hayloft, extensive rewiring, and adding supports to sagging beams. The work required an understanding of the timber frame barns built during that time as well as a commitment to preserving the overall integrity of the barn, all of which Mr Gonzales demonstrated. Since that first phase has been completed we have continued to use his services in various capacities including and not limited to reworking the foundation of our outdoor riding ring, installing an automatic sprinkler system for the ring, continuous landscaping projects around the farm, and trouble shooting mechanical problems with our tractors and other large pieces of equipment. His level of expertise, sense of professionalism and commitment to his job is remarkable as I will continue to call on him for jobs at home and at the farm.
