Craig's Locksmith Service

I had left my keys in my van with my teenage daughter while running an errand. When she decided to come into the store, she locked the van, not realizing the only set of keys was also locked inside. It was a bitterly cold night, my daughter had to be in uniform and in place at her middle school band concert in three hours. I called some other locksmiths, but after 2 hours, none of them had shown up. I called Craig's and the tech called right back to tell me he'd be there in around 30 minutes, as soon as he finished the appointment he was on. He was there in around 30 minutes and had the car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. He reminded me to check with my auto insurance company to see if they would cover the cost of the service and he was very polite and sympathetic. Thanks to the Craig's technician, my daughter made her band concert just as it was going to start. He saved our evening!

Called the afternoon of 10/21. Craig was very pleasant. Came out the next morning--right on time. He determined that the lock on my new back door wasn't compatible with the other locks my master key opened. Said he would be back that same afternoon with a new lock and wouldn't charge me an additional service charge, even though I told him I'd be willing to pay one. He came again right on time and went right to work. He certainly came across to me as an expert and was so fast in chiseling holes, removing things and installing the lock that I could hardly believe my good fortune. He got an excellent lock, and explained some of its features to me. Throughout he was personable and truly cared about me as a person. I rarely get that kind of service and attitude, and I recommend him highly.

Mr. DeVaney was very helpful. He called ahead and let me know he was coming. He re-keyed all the locks in my home, he replaced a door knob that was broken and could be easily broken and fixed another key. He erased the previous garage door remotes and helped me to reprogram them. He was great and made me feel that my home was safe. I recommend him highly.

Craig's was on time and unlocking the door took less than 10 minutes:).

Went very well. We had 2 doors that the deadbolts did not work. Craig came to see if he could repair them but was unable. I purchased new deadbolts and handles which needed to match other hardware in our home. He said he would go and shop to get them but I did myself. I ended up buying hardware for 3 doors and he came out and replaced everything for me. He matched all doors so we can use 1 key. Knowledgeable and courteous.

He came to the house and fixed and replaced locks. We had thought about replacing a second lock, but he advised us to return the new lock we bought and fix the existing lock because our existing lock was of higher quality. He could have made more money replacing the second lock, but instead repaired the one we have. That was admirable.

Craig was able to get into the house even though the dead bolt wouldn't turn with the key in it. When he took the inside of the dead bolt out, he discovered that someone had put the 'works' in backwards. He reassembled the dead bolt, and it worked fine.

Craig came within 2 hours of calling him. Actual work took about 5 minutes, although he stayed about 40 minutes, answering my questions and just generally being a nice guy. Trustworthy.

He was very conscientious and cleaned up very well. Everything has worked well since he did the work.

He was able to work with me on a tight time frame. His pricing fits his quality of service. His appearance when he showed up was very professional. He will work after hours and weekends. He accommodates with your schedule very well.

Went well, performed all services. Suggested additional safety measures, if interested. Was friendly and professional.

Craig (and young son Kent) came over same day and replaced all locks. He also replaced a couple door knobs after noticing some were broken. Craig also showed me how to maintain the locks in the door knobs to keep them functioning smoothly. He also offered to program our garage door openers. His son worked just as hard and they were great to do business with.

My daughter was housesitting and locked herself out of the house. Craig came the same day and arrived when he said he would. He tried all the doors and went the extra mile to try every last trick in the book to unlock a door without drilling through the locks. He was extremely nice and explained what he was doing and why as he went.

He was prompt, courteous, and finished the job. The key works great now. He made sure the key worked before leaving.

He got me into my house with no damage to the doors or the door frame. He also checked the fuse box to find out why my garage door was not working and made sure it was before he left. He went above and beyond to help me.

They were great and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful. He came the same day as soon as he could. He called before he came to let me know when he would get there. He went out of his way to get into the house without causing damage to the lock. Very nice man. Would definitely hire him again.

Replied and responded promptly (same day). Had to order a spare part, but left us in working order until it arrived a few days later. Replaced the lock and got us back in business as soon as the part was in. Good service, pleasant, accommodation gentleman (Craig).

He had to really work on a couple of the locks but he did end up fixing them. We appreciate his hard work. He was such a nice gentleman. I'd give me an A+ for personality.

Craig was courteous, polite, efficient prompt and appropriate in my space I would use him again and gladly refer him to others.

We needed to get our locks re-keyed due to a theft of some personal items. I called Craig in the morning and he was out that same afternoon. He was done in less than 45 minutes and also provided us with 5 extra keys. He was very courteous and professional and we would not hesitate to use him again if the need ever arises.

Arrived a bit late but called to tell us that would happen. Worked very quickly. After we said what we wanted done, Craig gave us several other options that would save $$ and be better in the long run. Was a great experience.

He suggested that instead of switching the locks, I switch the pins in the lock to bells which are much less expensive. He gets brownie points for problem solving.

Craig re-keyed ten locks and provided four extra keys. He arrived on time, was pleasant to work with and did a great job. I would hire him again.
