Craig's Locksmith Service

Great service, great advice on security tips and cost efficient service.

My mom's purse was stolen from her car as well as her identification and house keys. She lives alone so I felt the locks should be changed. I checked Angie's List and chose Craig. We set up an appointment for when mom would be home. Craig called ahead and notified her when he was coming. He surveyed the situation and called me and told me what he was going to do. He noticed that the door was probably not locking correctly so he adjusted the door frame and deadbolt lineup. He also gave a recommendation about how to safeguard her car since those keys had been stolen as well. Very, very pleasant experience.

The lock ended up having to be replaced. He also advised us as to what kind of lock we should have on that door to avoid that happening again. The price was also very reasonable.

Everything went perfect from start to finish. He was very professional and very informative about the work that was being done.

My husband called and he was here withing a few hours. He was very professional and did the job well. Would definitely recommend or use his services in the future.

I have used Craigs before. He return's your calls and comes by when promised. He re-keyed a new house to work on a common key. Did most of the work one day, but had to come back a few days later to install the new hardware as he didn't have the matching metal tone in inventory..

Punctual, professional, took the time to explain maintenance

Craig was prompt. He did, however, come without a helper to lift a 300 pound safe upstairs but we decided to keep on the ground floor. I suppose he would have found a way to lift the safe upstairs had we wanted him to do so. In anycase, we are happy with our experience.

Had to destroy the safe in order to get the paper inside. (Used a medical form to report so survey topics not really applicable. Gave a D for effectiveness of treatment.") will use again if necessary.

When Craig arrived, I indicated the locks that needed to be re-keyed. He inspected all of the locks and said they were in good shape, except for one. He showed me that a part was missing on that lock. At my request, he repaired that lock. The additional charge for that was minimal. He provided two keys, and at my request, cut two additional keys for the new locks. I will certainly call him the next time I need a locksmith.

We had a dead bolt on the front door. We thought we would have to replace it. He repaired it. He keyed the locks in the house so that we just needed one key for all the outside doors. The service call was $60. He had to put in some parts and it came to about $80.

Overall, it was a good experience and I would use him again in the future if needed.

I explained that we needed to gain access to a garage we didn't have keys on for a new home purchase. Craig himself ran the call, and he called a half hour before coming as promised. He got the door opened and explained that he could make a new key for the door knob, but it would be better to replace the knob and lock. Since that is something we will need to do anyway, that's what we did. He explained clearly each step of the process and offered to change all the locks on the property to the new key, which we wil have him do. We also explained what could be done about getting remotes for the garage door openers.

Everything was great. They responded very quickly, coming out on the same day that I called. Their price was good, and they were very pleasant to deal with. When they left the door began sticking, and I called two days later. They came out again that same day, and did not charge a service call fee for the follow-up visit. I was very happy with them.

They were timely, but didn?t have the tools to help me. They came out quick and gave me some referrals. They didn?t charge me anything. I would hire them in the future.

I contacted them Monday morning and left a message and Craig called me back within a few minutes and we set up a time range for him to come out that afternoon. In the afternoon he called me to inform me he was on his way. When he arrived it didn't take him long to unlock the lock and he took the time to explain everything to me.

I was very impressed - Craig was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. He would have came the same day that I called, but it was not an emergency, and he came out the following day instead.

He was professional. He explained everything very well. He worked in a timely manner. We have no complaints, as the locks all worked. I would recommend him.

I called on Monday to see if Craig could do the work. He asked if Tuesday would be ok then said he would be here between 12 and 3 and would call before he came which he did. He was punctual, polite, professional, and knew what he was doing. He also gave me some options for a couple items on my list. I asked what he would recommend but he didn't pressure me. I was very happy with how it went.
