I discovered them via Angie?s List last summer on a Sunday morning when my AC died. Not too many reviews yet but the fact that it was a flat diagnostic fee regardless time spent, or that it was a Sunday, along with a complete quote before any work was performed helped me make the decision to call. The technician showed up in less than an hour, uniformed and in the company truck as promised. He was very courteous and explained everything he was doing while I watched. He found the problem immediately, as the capacitor on the compressor had blown which was easily identifiable as it looked like someone stuck a firecracker in a soda can. He quoted me $130 for the whole deal, I agreed and he replaced it. He needed to turn the system back off for further diagnostics so he waited for the house to cool down so my family would be comfortable, then spent about an hour testing both the compressor and blower/furnace. No other problems were found. Was very happy with the service. In December 2014, My furnace died the Saturda after xmas. It would start up and then shutoff before the igniter ever even glowed. It was 11pm and the technician (which turned out to be Ren Pavich owner/operator) arrived about 30 minutes later. As luck would have it, the furnace fired up immediately before he ever got to see it fail. He then spent the next 2 ½ hours running diagnostics in an attempt to figure out what had gone wrong. He checked the vacuum pressure, sensor voltages, relays, even cleaned it out. Explaining the whole while every step he was taking and why. Pointing out things I could check and do whenever it fails to possibly avoid having to pay for a visit. After cycling the furnace repeatedly without failure, he explained the top possibilities that it could be but that he wouldn?t feel right replacing anything unless he could prove without a doubt it was the cause. He said that if it failed again he would come right back and that he had any of the necessary parts in stock. The only part I asked him to replace was the evacuation motor since it was noisy indicating that it was nearing end of life. He said it was impossible to know when and that it could last months or even a year or more, but that when they start whining they're on their way out. Given my own knowledge of electric motors, I asked if he would come back to replace it during the normal work hours as it was working and he had already spent so much time here tonight. He quoted me $500 (waiving tonight's diagnostic $79 fee) and left my house at 3am in the morning. When he came back on Monday, he ran another full set of checks and said everything still looked great. It was also incredibly quieter. 2 weeks later it happened again. I was on my way home from work when my wife called to tell me. I called his office and he asked if I wanted him to come out right away or if I wanted to try the things he told me to check first to save me the cost of a service call. I opted to check them out when I got home and called him back with what I?d found, an led flash code indicating a pressure switch was stuck open. He explained that this can occur for a variety of environmental reasons and is rarely ever the switch. He directed me to check a number of areas all while he willingly remained on the phone. I had offered to call him back as I didn?t want to tie him up but he said he wanted to stick with me. None of my checks turned up any issues when suddenly the furnace started working again. After a good laugh he said that he?s still unsure of the exact piece to replace but that he still has all of them in stock and will come right on over if I can?t get it rolling again. Finding someone I can trust to do work in my home is one of the most stressful experiences of my life due to some terrible experiences in the past. It is a huge relief to know that I don?t have to look for an HVAC company anymore.

Its a reasonable price and the guy that came out here and installed it seemed to know what he was doing. It has been working fine. Little confusion at first but I think that was not our part. Good punctuality.

Dave the technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He diagnosed the problem with the furnace not staying on as a flame sensor. He had the part on his truck and replaced it. He also fixed a leak in the condensation drain that two other companies tried to fix but could not. He also performed a general inspection of the furnace. He was very thorough and explained everything he did. After that he cleaned up the area and made sure I was satisfied with the service. I will definitely use them again in the future!

It went very well they came as they said they would replaced my old furnace in a timely manner and were very proffesional . Cleaned up after themselves never left any mess like they were never there. They were there when I needed them.. I would definetly recommend them.

Things went very well. Once the installer got here and looked at our set up he called back into the office. The gave us the option of paying the extra 125.00 for the bypass fan because of the way our furnace was situated or being refunded the 399.00 from Angie's list. So we opted to pay the extra.

Everything went perfect! They called the very next day and finished within a week. They were courteous. There were no additional fees associatedwith the deal.

Very professional. Within less than a day from purchasing the deal on Angie's List, Valpo Aire contacted me and I had my humidifier installed within a week of purchase. Installer was here on time and went straight to work. He was courteous and personable. Only reason I put quality as a B instead of an A (other than there's no A-) is because I'm not familiar with the whole-house humidifier that doesn't have a fan to blow the moisture into the furnace. This unit relies on the circulation of air from the cold air return to push in the moisture. I know the brand is a great brand, so I'll trust that it's going to work well.

David did a great job even though it is going to cost us a lot of money to replace them. Well they lasted us 18 years and that was more than expected. Thank you!!

I bought the deal on here for the $49 furnace tune up. A tech named Dave came out on time as scheduled. He was very professional and knowledgeable. If all of their techs are as friendly and knowledgeable as Dave is, this company is doing very well. I would use and recommend them in the future.

Technician David arrived right on time, with a friendly greeting and smile. He introduced himself and gave me his business card. He thoroughly examined the furnace, filter and thermostat. When done, he explained what he found and gave me a written estimate for a very short list of things he felt needed to be remedied. He was very nice and professional the entire time. I would gladly use this company again.

Originally called them out for a service checkup, but on investigation the tech found that our 22 year old unit had leaked all of the coolant and as a result, the compressor was toast. This wasn't much of a surprise to me, but I was surprised that they were able to properly quote, remove old, and install a new unit *in the same day*! I had some initial concerns about whether or not the unit was properly sized for our property and these folks have gone out of their way to make sure that I've been made satisfied and educated about both the process and the technology. Every person I have dealt with from this company has been friendly and professional. The service technician and customer service manager are both great people and know their stuff. The proprietor is also very friendly and approachable and spent a good 30 minutes on the phone patiently listening and explaining things to me. I would (and will) do business with this company again. A+ from me.

The cost of the tune up was very reasonable. We unfortunately needed other things that increased the cost of service. Otherwise everything went well.

Wonderful Service! I called for a quote and spoke to the receptionist and set up a time for a quote, within an hour the owner (Ren) called me and said he was available earlier if i was, he promptly met me at my house and examined the system, we agreed on an extremely fair price and in two days the installer (Jim..??) arrived at 8 am, i left him alone at the house. He locked up everything after himself and left no mess. Everything works great! Couldn't be more satisfied with their service. Highly recommend.

Tech was punctual and professional, conducted the service and explained everything at the end with recommendations. Despite limited exposure to them thus far, would probably use them again.

It went fine, everything was good. Uneventful. The one tech was at the home for an hour to an hour and a half.

Unfortunately, my furnace was not compatible with the humidifier I purchased. However, David was very professional, kind and tried to find a compatible humidifier. While the location of my furnace prevented the installation, I did get a full refund through Angie's List. Based on the expertise and professionalism from Valparaiso Aire Serv, I would not hesitate to use them again in the future!!

It went very well. They were neat, polite and efficient. They also programmed the thermostat.

A.C. went out late and I called first thing in the morning and left a message. My phone call was returned within the hour and the owner was at my house the same afternoon. What made it especially amazing was that it was a 90 degree day and they were really busy but got me in.

I was very pleased with this service. The technician provided details of what he was going to do, why and gave an in-depth explanation of what he found. All charges were thoroughly delineated. His work was neat and he completely cleaned up. We asked for an estimate on future work on our unit. He set-up an appointment for that to happen.

They were professional and they gave suggestions. They're coming back to fix the A/C. I believe their pricing was reasonable.

My experiences with them have all been very good. They come out twice a year and I signed up with them on a yearly plan so I cannot tell you how much I spent for that. I know the owner of the company personally. He is a great guy and he is working hard to do his best. I would most certainly use them again in the future.
