I was told the whole system needed to be rewired and he couldn’t do that. I was then charged $75. He was here about 10 minutes. I had someone else come and it just needed to be reset!!! Needless to say I’m not happy.

The service itself was very good. What was disappointing was the cost. After the technician looked at the situation it was determined to replace not only the broken spring but also the Garage door opener itself which was 17 yrs old. The unit they put in was a Liftmaster, model 8550wlb. A good unit except they charged us twice as much as retail: $650! You can purchase this same unit anywhere for $320. Not sure I’d do business with them again.

Precision's technician Peter Wendorf took my old broken garage door off and replaced it with a new one. It was not an easy job because the old door's coil had snapped on one side and the door broke apart and got stuck at an angle when it fell down. It wouldn't budge. He had to tear it out along with all the other hardware it came with. I thought it would take most of the day to do that and to install the brand new door but he was done in less than 3 hours. The new door looks great and works perfectly. Peter handled everything in a professional manner and fully explained the operation of the new door.

Replaced old garage door And did a fabulous job took minimal time and functioned as advertised. JOHN did a nice job communicated well was courteous and respectful.

The service provided was impeccable. John was our installation tech and he was punctual, efficient and professional. I would hire Precision for all your garage door needs. I am very happy with the price and quality.

My garage door decided it was tired and didn't want to co-operate any longer. Called Precision Garage Door on Saturday morning to see if they could send a representative down to fix it. We scheduled a person to be at my residence between 10 & 12 this morning. Mr. Andy (AJ) Johnson called and said he would be here in an hour and 20 minutes. Good to his word he arrive in that time frame. Dressed professionally with company clothing so I would not mistaken him for someone else. We did get the door closed but unfortunately for me it will have to be replaced. I would highly recommend both AJ (even though he is a ND fan and I am a Buckeye fan) and Precision for future business. Go BUCKEYES !

From the call to the service being completed, everything was very professional. The serviceman came out and quoted me a price. Although it was a broken spring, he basically stated that everything needed replaced. Our garage door was just installed 7 years ago, so I was a little surprised. I asked if there was a cheaper way of doing this and he said that there was not. And if I upgraded the rollers for about $75 (I think) extra, then it would all have a lifetime guarantee. Once the person is there and you're going to be charged $95 for the service call if you don't have the service done, it's hard to say no. However, after talking to several family members that have had the same issues with the same doors, I feel like the pricing was way over what it should have been. And the rollers were actually a total of $180 of my total.

AJ Johnson came out very quickly to help us with our door. It had been installed somewhat improperly and the door coil broke in half! He did a nice job quoting me several options and then asked if it was our "Forever Home" - it is. He then recommended the full amount of service with the lifetime guarantee and said he could do it all in less than an hour. That is what we decided to do and the work was done professionally and within the time frame. This company hires quality folks!!

Awsome! The tech. went right to work after he asked me a few questions about my problem. He also came and got me to show me what he had done and gave me some helpful advice on how I can maintain my doors.

The garage door was fixed within the hour.

Was quoted on telephone $100 to $150 for spring replacement and $90 for labor. Seemed like a reasonable estimate, so I had the tech stop by. We discussed the quote and he was supposed to tell me for sure before starting any work. He took the entire spring system apart which turned the garage door from partially operational to not operational and then presented a new quote of $435. Tech should have determined the updated quote without taking the spring system apart. Anyway ... I told him no thanks and that he could leave. He couldn't believe that I would send him off without accepting the new quote which was double the original quote. I know from other's experience with the same problem in recent years that it should be a $200 to $300 job. Later received an email with a printed quote ... $435 was just for the "good fix" ... a "better fix was over $600 and the "best fix" was over $700. Complete waste of my time.

We told them the type of door that she had and they said they could fix it. They came out, it was a young gentleman that came out, he's very rude, unprofessional. they did try to resolve it but he came out he gave us an estimate. Then he told us he could not fix the door, we probably should go to someone else but he did give me an estimate. It was less than what it would have been with another company so he said we would have to order the part we don't have the part you need. I said you know you could go ahead and order the part you know plus I think they charged me what like $39, $29 or $39 so let's say $30 to come out and give me an estimate. So I said well just go ahead because by the time you order your parts and fix it I'm going be about what I would spend with another company so you might as well just fix it. Then I got another phone call from Precision telling me, no, they think this is a misunderstanding they want to send their specialist out to get that person's point of view. I said ok. So they sent someone out but he was very apologetic and he explained it's the same type of door I have at my rental property so what they would have to do is take of the hardware of that they cant use, so they would have to replace all of that we said, no, well, we don't want to do that. I said I wish you guys would have told me up front that you had to do that because I wouldn't have paid for you to come out. So I end up getting stuck with a $30 fee for someone to come out and tell me they couldn't do which they could have told me about over the phone.

On time, very professional and knowledgeable but very expensive for 30 minutes without replacing anything.

The service is prompt. As soon as the appointment was made I had an email confirmation. Also, the photo and bio of the technician was attached which made me feel secure. The technician was courteous and professional.

THEY WERE NOT HIGH PRESSURE BUT VERY FRIENDLY, INFORMATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS NOT A STANDARD SIZE DOOR SO IT HAD TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED. MY INSTILLATION DATE WAS FOR THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO INSTALL IT 2 DAYS SOONER! ANDY, MATTHEW AND AJ WERE THE YOUNG MEN THAT INSTALLED IT AND AGAIN WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COMPETENT, EFFICIENT AND VERY FRIENDLY.

They were really awful. They overcharged me on the parts. Later on I found out from some people that their prices were way too high. The labor was also high. They oversold on certain things on the garage door that I didn't need at that time. I just wanted it in tiptop shape because we use it a lot. Plus after they fixed it, it came off the track 2 weeks later. I called them, they came back right away and tried to fix it again. I was not happy with them. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. The company is also referred to as PDS Precision Door Services.

Spent about 30 min. Did a good job, but the bill was over $300, which is ridiculous. I want good service but not to be gouged.
