Description of Work: The sales man was a little rude or brusque but I attribute that to the area but we decided to use them anyway. They replaced the air conditioner and furnace. They showed up on time were quick and efficient with everything. Answered any questions I had.

Description of Work: Had a serviceman come out to check out our furnace which was not producing hot air. He was very friendly and professional and even put up with our dogs jumping on him when he would come upstairs. When he figured out what part it was that needed replacing, he went and picked it up right then and there and installed it within the hour. Great service!

Description of Work: Since the work was performed in "off season" the prices were a little lower. Workers came on time, did work, were very respectful of where they parked and leaving room for neighbors to come and go. They were friendly and informative - instructing me on how to program the new thermostat. Work took about 5 hours. I'm toasty warm and happy with my 95% efficient furnace.

Description of Work: Heater stopped working. Called Goff late Fri. On phone they explained pricing and said tech would call back. He called within 20 min. We discussed pricing and poss problems with my unit. Sounded helpful and professional. He arrived within 1/2 hour. He diagnosed the problem and fixed the ignition system. Retested several times to ensure it was working properly. Additionally, he tested/cleaned the thermostat, air filters, humidifiers and electrical components. He examined the duct, air flow and electrical systems. He communicated everything as he was preforming the maintenance. Very thorough, very professional.

+ -1 moreAfter calling around to get estimates from various A/C companies for a new central air conditioner to replace my old, inefficient one, Goff Heating & Air Conditioning came in much below their nearest competitor. The company representative was great to work with, patient with explanations, and gave me his honest feedback on the model/size of A/C to get, given the size of my home and the efficiency I was looking at (even when it meant less revenue for them.) When it came to the install, the old air conditioner was removed (including the concrete pad...above and beyond expectations!) and the new unit was installed in the new location I had selected. The installers were conscientious and tidy, and all was cleaned up after finishing their work. The new AC works great; I couldn't be happier! Plus, at that time anyway, they included a two year annual service agreement at no additional cost!

I was worried that the unit that they suggested may not be big enough because I had an estimate from another service provider and they had suggested something that was much larger as well as higher at price. I have the air conditioning working for about a week now and it seems to be adequate. It seems to be fine. However, the workmen who were here broke my door handle and I am yet to get that resolved. As far as getting the air conditioner in, I thought that they did an excellent job. I would grade them as very good on their price.

Description of Work: They have performed several services for me. We replaced the 50 year old furnace in my parents' house. They had the best price and did not try to talk me into more than we needed. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up afterward. They also fixed the furnace in my house when it went out on the coldest day of the winter and the charge was very reasonable. In addition, they inspected our airconditioner and furnace last year before the beginning of each heating and cooling season
