We scheduled the work date and it was done as expected with a nice clean-up after. Very nice company to work with.

I was not there the day the work was performed. I was never told the caulk anything!!!!!!!! The other three steps he leveled were never caulked and are fine! Contractor is not being truthful and NOT STANDING BEHIND HIS WORK OR WARRENTY.

Dave was very prompt in returning my request for a quote and was out within a day to see the area. He advised me about what his service could do and couldn't do. He gave me a fair price to complete all of the areas that needed leveling. My neighbor also asked for a quote for his sidewalk and agreed to have the work done at the same time. Dave called me a day ahead to inform me he was coming. He arrived as promised and began immediately. He worked several hours and included some areas on my driveway and front step without charging me more. He was willing to discuss some of the areas with me to make sure I was happy with the final look. He was very efficient and cleaned up everything very well. The final results were amazing! He provided me with some "dos and don'ts" regarding caulking the joints and repeatedly offered his assistance if I needed anything at all in the future....he was just a phone call away. Dave clearly took pride in his work and was very good at it. My neighbor was also very satisfied with his work and price.

David is a great guy and the job he did was great. The work was performed in the neighborhood for the association.

Had some various areas that were settling (driveway, front porch, patio). David quoted me on those areas that he could do and made suggestions for dealing with the parts that wouldn't benefit from his services. Made a point of coming out as soon as the weather permitted and did the areas he quoted.

It went great. I called and it was schedule within a week. They came out on Sunday and got it all completed in a few hours. 10-1-12 - Update - my concrete slab had sunken back down in the Summer. They will be coming to fix the problem some time this spring. Will update once they fix it. Hoping they can provide a permanent solution so that it doesn't fall back down again 5-8-13 - Update - fixed the slab again and did a great job. Looks good as new. The concrete is perfectly level. David completed leveling the concrete on my pool deck as I had a deep crack and the concrete was sinking. He gave me an estimate and completed the job under estimate. He made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. The concrete is now level and the caulking hardly shows. I highly recommend David McDonald because he is a principled, honest, professional worker. You could not ask for a better person to work with.

Overall I am very satisfied with the attitude of the crew and the work done. Rhonda even called to make sure we were happy with the completed job.

I received a referral for AAA Mudjacking, Inc and checked Angie's list. Sure enough, they were there, but the reports were curiously negative (though I did see some responses and thought I'd try them out anyway for an estimate). I called and Dave (one of the owners) spoke with me directly about the problem and arranged (that day!) to be there to take a look at the job. He was heading back from another job, so I lucked out that they could actually do the work today. What I really appreciated was the customer service, the prompt response and the honesty about the situation with our back stoop. Dave could show me where the previous home owner had done some of the same work (the telltale signs of quarter sized holes filled with concrete on the patio). I frankly had never noticed it. After consulting about the job and what could realistically be done, Dave and Paul did the work. They worked quickly and cleaned up after the job was done. Dave was very concerned to assure my satisfaction with the job.I would definitely recommend them again and I would use their services if needed in the future.

Could not get steps quite back to original level, but not bad. Said they would bill me after service. In less than 2 weeks after service, an employee shows up and chews me out for not paying yet. If they'd asked politely they'd got their money just as quickly. Not a bad job done, but not impressed with how they treated me. Would likely use a different company if available to provide similar service for similar price.

The patio was damaged by a tree in the spring, so the slab was uneven. They were able to correct the problem.

The workmanship was ok, but they did not clean up completely when they were done. The real trouble began when I forgot to sign the check. I was willing to make good the next day, but I needed to schedule it into my day. The owner became extremely verbally abusive over the phone. I got off the phone as quickly as possible and immediately made good on the personal check with a cashers check so there would be no doubts or questions. The next day did not hear if my check was picked up so I had to call in to find out if the issue was resolved. Because the high level of abuse over the phone I canceled the follow-up service to have the cracks caulked. The owner called back and was more abusive than the day before. I am still concerned over the safety of my family while I am not at home. Any further contact from the owner of the business and I will consider calling the police to discuss the protection options.

They drilled holes in the side walk and pumped composet mixture to rise up the side walk. Soo in other works they level out the side walk for us. They came knowing what they were doing and was very professional.

He was very honest about the nature of the repair and told me that what needs to be done would cost several thousand dollars. He advised me to think about whether or not we want to put that kind of money into an add-on that isn't actually part of the house, and he made some suggestions to prevent further sinking in the meantime.

On or about March 2, 2008 Mr. McDonald came to pump up all the concrete in question. When Mr. McDonald finished his work on that Sunday afternoon, I told him that the concrete did not appear level. I even put a 4 level on the area in question and found that the decking was off level at least 2 in a four foot distance. Mr. McDonald wanted to wait until the weather was warmer and the pool and its cover were operating so as to better determine how much more the concrete needed to be raised. When I provided Mr. McDonald with his payment in full I included a letter, dated March 2, 2008 summarizing what we agreed to do. The result and subsequent experience with Mr. McDonald was very distressing and most disappointing. He has even refused to honor his own guarantee. He has yet to fix my problem and refuses to come out and fix work under his guarantee. I would not recommend this company and would look elsewhere. Member update: In the past year as we have gotten no satisfaction whatsoever from AAA Mudjackers, we were forced to having to file a claim against their liability insurance carrier to recover even a part of the damages caused by AAA Mudjackers' negligence. In the end we were able to recover the $1,000 previously paid to AAA Mudjackers; not from AAA Mudjackers but from their insurance carrier. It is a tragic shame that customers are treated with such blatant disregard as we have been by AAA Mudjackers. Perhaps their inability to participate in Angies List is some consolation for their conduct and refusal to honor their warranty. The lesson learned and the one we wish to strongly suggest is that if you are considering using AAA Mudjackers for anything, for your own well-being and peace of mind, use someone else. AAA Mudjackers will just be one headache after another and in the end your satisfaction for any work they might do will be non-existent.

For the job, they did what I asked them to do. However, they did not do a very good job of cleaning up.

David McDonald came out the very same day that we called! He was very friendly and nice.

We contacted several companies and AAA was the fastest responder and could get to the job the quickest. We were in the middle of a remodeling job and this surprising find in the concrete was holding everything up. AAA came out within 2 days of giving the OK and did the job. They give a 1 year warranty; hopefully the job will last longer than that!

It went well. Originally we only had them quote the front sidewalk but after they were finished we realized that this process could also salvage our back patio too. Dave quoted the back on the spot for $450, did it and it went so well that he discounted the price to $350 after he was done. That's never happened to us before with any type of work. Dave was really easy to get along with and did a very good job. A side not for mudjacking/concrete leveling- it is a VERY GOOD alternative to tearing out and re-pouring concrete. I figure it was about 20% the cost of a tear-out and re-pour and you can't even tell it was done.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND THEY PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST. THEY WERE EXCELLENT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

I was told that the project would not be a big deal for them and was charged less than the per job minimum. After the work was done we noticed a crack in the middle of the piece that was leveled. After a call to the office we were told that it was a stress crack and that it occurred during the leveling. The new crack was not caulked or sealed although the main crack was (for a fee). I am waiting to see how the crack does over the winter, but we were not pleased by the lack of communication or resolution of issue we called them on.

David arrived on the afternoon of the 14th as planned. They did the job, cleaned up, prepared the paperwork with warranty and left. They were most courteous.

They were the nicest people to work with. They did an outstanding job. Very prompt.
