 + -1 moreDavid finished the job in a very reasonable time, and we will be calling Simply Glass for ALL of our professional glass cleaning needs in the future. We got a discounted price on our cleaning, but we were so happy with the work and their promptness that we gave DeJay and David a $20.00 tip. It was a pleasure and a relief to find folks with such professional attitudes and excellent skills. We thank Angie's List for help in that department.
Description of Work: Our entire experience with Simply Glass was excellent! DeJay and David were both very professional, and David did an excellent job of cleaning our studio window which has 54 panes that are each 8 1/2" X 11 1/2" in dimension. These panes are also very high and required a steady hand and more courage than I could ever muster. I was also determined not to let to let my husband climb so high and take a chance of falling through the window. Call me a wimp, but I'm glad I insisted on calling Simply Glass. David was careful to to get to each and every little corner of each one of the 54 panes in our window. No streaks, no smears, and NO harsh chemicals--which was also a PLUS for us. I am very concerned about my plants and the animals in our area.

 + 1 moreSimply Glass scheduled the window cleaning with us and arrived on time. There were two workers; one was the owner, to handle the job. We were 10-15 minutes into the job and I was faced with having to agree to paying more than the bid we'd originally agreed upon. They seemed to be in a hurry which in turn resulted in the poorly executed window washing job. My husband was not pleased and neither was I.
Description of Work: Simply Glass had been recommeded by a previous contractor. Although I took bids, this was not the lowest bidder. My home is a two story house with a sunroom attached. I have lots of glass at the back of the house and the house has four (4) skylights. Apparently the bid I received did not include skylights and DeJay balked at doing the skylights. He agreeded to do them at an additional cost per window. The job had been started the weather was right, I agreed to the increase in cost although I felt like I had been taken advantage of. We puposely did this job early in the season to take advantage of the best costs offered by the contractors. I have lived in this house for many years and this is the first time I have not been happy with the window cleaning results. The bid indicated that impurities would be removed from the ledges and seals. I had to do that my self. Windows were left streaked. Dirty water spots were left at many of the windows, this also required additional clean up. I will not use this service again, sorry to write this report but I believe others can avoid this mistake by understanding where your weaknesses are.

 + 7 moreI was able to contact the company, get a quote, and schedule the service in a matter of a few hours. He drove out to my house while I was at work to put together an estimate and then called me with his offer. I accepted his offer and he showed up ready to work right on time. The results exceeded my expectations. He used different machines for different surfaces. There was a lawn mower looking pressure washer with 250 degree water for the concrete. He used a soft wash machine for the vinyl. The house and concrete look like new. There was no damage. If I had done it myself I'm sure I would have damaged something. The whole job only took a couple of hours. He was polite as we inspected the results together. I paid him with a check and now I'm recommending him to my friends.

 + -1 moreOverall the event went very well. They arrived on schedule and started to work. Unfortunately the equipment required some repair and to make matters worse it also started to rain. They fixed their equipment and toughed out the rain. Because of the problems the job took more time than they expected. My wife and I were please with the results and would use them again without question.
Description of Work: Pressure washed the siding of the entire house and same for the gutter on the front of the house.
