Description of Work: Professional, good quality, a little higher priced but you get what you pay for. They first cleaned and checked fireplace/chimney then placed a 5 foot stone hearth and s wall of stone. Looks beautiful!

Description of Work: They did a chimney inspection for our fireplace and furnace/water heater. They were going to get back to us with specific pricing and more information but never did. We ended up calling and using some other company at about half the price of the Judd "ballpark" price.

Description of Work: Removed and rebuilt the brick exterior chimney on my home. They showed up as scheduled and on time and completed work in one day. Returned one week later as promised to apply a sealer to chimney crown. Workers were very friendly and professional. They left the job site clean as if they were never here . They did a GREAT job and it looks better then I expected . Kudos guys! And the lady in the office who scheduled our work and called to remind us of our appointment, was helpful, friendly , and professional .

Excellent. Arrived timely, worked efficiently. Competitive rates, if not slightly lower than other companies. My only complaint is that they could have used a better filter on their shop vac. The entire area around the chimney, indoors, was covered in a fine soot residue.
Description of Work: Chimney was cleaned, inspected, capped and the concrete at the top of the Chimney was sealed.

My home was damaged in a car theft incident. I called three companies for estimates and Judd and Son not only responded in a timely manner, the follwed through . The estimate was fair and informative; I received it via e-mail two days later.We set a date for the work's completion and they were on time and worked until the job was finished. They answered questions and advised me of work that needed to be done in the future; I felt no pressure to hire them to do it, but I certainly would call them first.
Description of Work: Removed broken masonry following a car/truck accident and replaced it with pieces from the original structure. Excellent outcome, considering the material is no longer available. Workmen went above and beyond my expectations.; professional staff at the coompany were responsive and compassionate

Actual installation fine but I waited approximately one month for installation after order placed. Written quote for 3 (definitely) stainless steel chimney caps $252.60, paid upon installation. Later I received another invoice for an additional $111.30 stating that my earlier quote was for two caps only. I paid the balance but it is still not clear to me what the actual cost per cap was! The caps look fine from the ground, but difficult to judge quality of work without going on roof. I think Judd & Son is a reputable company, making a genuine mistake, but it was their error and they should have taken the loss.

THEY OVERCHARGED COMPARED TO WHAT THEY QUOTED US OVER THE PHONE, AND THEY SHOWED UP LATE AT THE HOUSE. EVERYTHING ELSE WENT REALLY WELL AND THEY MADE SURE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAD DONE.
