They did a beautiful job. It was a tough roof to do. It was a cedar shake roof, and they did a great job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. It was a work of art.

I was in the middle of a deal to sell my house. The buyers inspector came out and told me that my roof was shot and that it had to be replaced before the FHA loan money could be released. With the closing date looming, I had to find somebody to put a roof on quickly. I had a hard time even getting a contractor to even show up at my house for a quote....until I found Roger Lange Roofing on Angie's List. Roger came out to the house and quoted the roof for a reasonable price. He was able to get a crew out to my house very quickly. They did a nice, clean job that I am very happy with.

I found them through Angie's List. They came out when I needed them to come. They were really quick with the work and were very good. They were clean and had the needed skills. They ran around with a magnet to pick up any nails and so forth. I paid them cash, so it cost me a little less. They covered everything and cleaned up after themselves. Roger is really personable. He gave me an estimate very quickly and got right to the work. His price was sensible.

Keith was very personable and easy to talk to. He did not talk over our heads and explained everything in detail. He also did not pressure us, knowing we were getting other estimates. His crew was prompt, professional, and cleaned up after themselves upon completion. The only issue I had, was that they did not re-install the satellite dish correctly, left two braces off and laying in the gutter, and I had to call Direct TV to reset and drill new holes for the brackets, since the roofing shingles covered the existing ones. That cost me $49 service call. Otherwise all went well, and roof looks fantastic. Even got compliments from the neighbors.

We read the reviews for them in Angieslist and also talked to some family members in the area. Everyone agreed that they were probably the best option for the job. They were not the greatest in calling back when we wanted a copy of our estimate after they were out. However, pricewise they were the best and the shingles that they offered had the best warranty compared to what other companies offered. They were most willing to discuss the different options for the work.

Company was very professional. I had five (5) different roofers provide me with quotes after giving each a specification for work to be completed but unfortunately for Lange Roofing, they were not the lowest bidder. Lange was 3rd highest out of 5 in cost.

We chose them because of the good reviews on Angie's List and because we found on the GAF web site that they are the only local Northwest Indiana roofer with GAF's "Master Elite" certification. It took a week after we first requested a quote for them to get back to us. After that, they were very responsive. They were unable to start work on our roof until three weeks after we accepted the quote, but it took just over two days to completely finish the work once they started (and we have a fairly large house). They would have finished in two days but had to quit early on Day 2 because of rain. They cleaned up the yard nicely after leaving each day. There were quite a few guys working here, and they all got their jobs done in a professional way. The roof looks great! We're very happy with the work that was done and would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer.

Due to having several layers of shingles the teardown took several days for the house but the new roof was completed by the end of the week. Installation of the gutters and downspouts took an additional four days after the roofs on the house and garage were completed. All the workers on the project were very professional.

I was very pleased with their quotes. There were no surprises in the final bill. They were quick and there was no disruption to our lives. They cleaned up pretty well. The roof looks good, and no leaks a year later. Overall we were happy with them.

Originally I thought it was well done and gave very favorable reviews. I noticed a leak in May 2010 on the ceiling in my family room so I called him and he came on May 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM. He inspected the damage done to my ceiling, he then went up on the roof and caulked all the pipes and anything protruding from the roof. He then told me that he would be in contact with me about the sub contractor he would hire to fix everything else at his cost. I didn't hear from him so I tried to call him on June 12 and July 14. I left messages for him to call me back and he never did. I sent him a certified return letter on August 27 asking on how he was going to handle the situation and if he was going to take care of it or if I should hire someone and just send him the bill. He signed for the letter on August 29 and I've still heard nothing back from him.

Roger came out to the house, did some measurements, then followed up with an estimate and an example of the type of shingles he would use. It took about a day and a half to finish the job. The workers did a great job of minimizing the mess and cleaning up afterwards. The roof looks great-- the overall appearance is just the way I expected it.

It went very well. From the time I first called for an estimate to completion of my roof, Roger answered all my questions and I felt I could trust his opinions and I was very comfortable with him and his crew. They worked hard and cleaned up around my house each day. They are professionals and that eliminated alot of the worry for me. I'm looking forward to the thunderstorms now without getting out the mop! My roof looks beautiful.

They did a good job. We had short notice for them to fix our leak. They were very fair in pricing. They were hard working and great contractors overall. They were very good about their clean up efforts too.

A 3 day project in very warm weather. Very organized crew and very good results. We asked to have the roofing replaced during non-rainy period - done.

I found Lange Roofing through Angie's List and was impressed with the high ratings they received from others. I contacted Mr. Lange via email and received a response very quickly. He came out to look at the house and garage while I was at work and called me shortly thereafter with an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. I had questions which he answered in layman's terms so I understood. I had some doubt as to what color shingles would look the best, not being able to judge from the brochures he had left which were helpful, but not like looking at the actual shingle. He was very accommodating and brought actual shingle samples to my home. Mr. Lange contacted me the day before they would start the work. I left for work that morning seeing an old roof and when I got home there was a beautiful new roof! There was no indication of anyone ever being there except for the new roof. They used quality materials and did an excellent cleanup job before they left. I have seen not one stray roofing nail on my property. I had thought I needed vents on the roof of my garage and that was included in the estimate, but the crew said they wouldn't be necessary and I was credited on the estimate. I wonder how many companies would be honest enough to let a single woman who knows absolutely nothing about roofing, that the vents were not needed, but they did. And I appreciated that. I called Lange Roofing after finding them on your list. Mr. Lange came out right away and gave me an estimate. I received 3 other estimates, but he offered the best price and since he had an "A" listing, I decided to go with his company. He could not complete the job immediately because of the weather. The roof is now on and I am very pleased with the final product. He and his crew were courteous and he kept me informed as to when work would be completed.

All work was completed in one day, and they cleaned up everything before leaving.

He was really great. He came out and did an estimate for us. Everything was cleaned up really well when they left. The job they did was really nice. He was really good about accommodating our requests. He is really professional and just a good person.

Everything pertaing to the roof was taken care of by Lange Roofing. They focused on every detail. The clean up far exceeded our expectations...not one roof shingle could be found. The job was complete within 1-1/2 days. We wanted the best roofer in our area. Thanks to Angie's List we found Lange Roofing.

They were both the least expensive for the amount of work done and the most professional, by far, of any person/company that gave us estimates. The crew worked amazingly fast as it took only two days to have both the house and the garage completely finished. They did a good job cleaning up, and it looks wonderful!

They called to see if it was OK to do the work a couple of weeks early. They came with a crew of six, and began to tear off the old roof, which took the better part of the day. The next day they installed the new plywood decking material, ice shield and paper. Then the shingles. The crew was polite and professional, getting appreciative comments from my neighbors. Some other crews have been around the neighborhood and have made quite a racket. The crew worked hard and took few and short breaks. My wife was quite pleased with the general appearance of the roof, and in particular the flashing on the chimney.

I had requested 3 bids from local roofers and selected Lange Roofing because of their competitive bid and the type of roofing materials used. The crew was together for 5 years and did a great job with the entire project. This work was estimated at 1-1/2 days and was completed as estimated with no delays. The clean up was perfect and no debris was left at my house. I was very happy with the work and the materials that were used on this job. I selected this roofing company also because of their status as a certified master elite roofing contractor. This roofing system was important to me because of the quality of each of the layers of materials used in the new roof. The work estimating supervisor Mike Fazekas was extremely knowledgeable and he explained everything to me in the greatest detail. The bid was sent in the mail and every detail concerning the work was described - including all materials used and the roofing system details. He and his crew did a wonderful job!

Prompt response to original phone call. Took picture of home and superimposed picture of new roofing material for consideration of work. Completed all work in a timely manner; great clean-up.
